Chapter 45: Fly in the night sky.

The Aero Bike carrying Rudy and the others was faster than when they were heading to the village, racing through the forest of darkness.

Unlike the daytime forest, the night forest had a narrow field of vision, with the Aero Bike’s safety support functions reduced by a third. With the increased speed, Rudy was on high alert, dodging the trees.

Carl’s nickname was Black Sword. By infusing mana into his large sword and enhancing his body with magic, his slash had the power to cut through even steel. However, he was terrible at any magic other than Supreme Slash.

Impressed by Carl’s abilities, the Aero Bike suddenly felt lighter, causing Rudy to panic and look back. He noticed that Carl had lost his balance due to the attack and was about to be thrown into the air along with Nina.

The bike emerged from the forest, and only darkness stretched out beyond the reach of the headlights.

The Aero Bike leaped up high, attempting to fly over the cliff.

With enough momentum to make it, Rudy was confident. However, Solaris appeared from the sky on their trajectory.

Then, the Aero Bike defied gravity and started climbing the cliff.

Rudy and Carl yelled as the Aero Bike screamed up the wall, soaring into the air.

It made a full turn and landed on top of the cliff.

“…Yeah, I thought we were done for.”

As Rudy trembled and muttered, Carl wiped the sweat from his forehead.

“By the way, Rudy, it might be my imagination, but during our flight, I felt like I saw the maid from the abyss flying from the opposite side. Did you see her?”

Carl didn’t know that Solaris was an android. Even if what he witnessed earlier was magic, he believed that the physical abilities he saw were impossible.

“Solaris! We almost fell off the cliff!”
