"How sweet you are." Adam stroked the head of Elyra, who looked at him with a confused look.

Adam was back in Elyra's cave, sitting cross-legged while there was a barrier of water around his body that acted as a chill. Now and then steam rose and Adam looked tired.

Plunging Elyra into the pond, Adam sat down beside her and put his chin down on his hands, looking out at the calm water of the pond.
