“Unlucky!”

Longlin returned to the Dragon Realm with a stern face, carrying Aoyi, his fiancée. He had heard that the food at the Three Thousand Food House was excellent and wanted to take her there to try it. However, he never expected to encounter such a situation at the Three Thousand Food House!

He didn’t know what the owner of the Three Thousand Food House had done to Aoyi, but it left her completely stiff and unable to move!

Upon returning to the Dragon’s home, Longlin entrusted his fiancée to a doctor and, accompanied by his brothers and soldiers, headed straight for the Three Thousand Food House. He intended to reclaim the situation!

Meanwhile, Tu linlin stumbled out of the Three Thousand Food House in a daze, walking in a fog until he stepped into the Spirit Realm. It was only then that he regained his senses and belatedly realized that he had found a high-paying job.

A look of joy spread across his face.

Since he was young, Tu linlin had always avoided contact with strangers, and as he grew older, his fear of strangers only increased. This situation made it impossible for him to find any kind of job.

Fortunately, he didn’t have high demands in life; as long as he had food, he was content. So, he returned to the cave left by his departed mother and barely sustained himself by growing vegetables and fruits around the cave.

He thought he would live like this for the rest of his life, but who would have imagined that he would now have a job, and a job that paid a monthly salary of over ten thousand!

Although Tu linlin rarely interacted with people, he enjoyed being online! So, he knew how rare it was in the orc world to find a job that provided food, accommodation, and a monthly salary of over ten thousand!

Even though he was lively and open, the joy in his heart couldn’t be suppressed.

The capable and talented orc had to endure hardships in search of a job with such good treatment. Yet, without doing anything special, he unexpectedly landed this job. How could he not be amazed?

Of course, Tu linlin was well aware that he didn’t have any extraordinary abilities, and he knew that he got this job purely because Boss Bai was a kind person!

Now that the Three Thousand Food House had gained such high popularity, there was a constant stream of people coming to eat every day. With such high pay and the opportunity to work here, he believed that if Boss Bai had advertised the job, countless people would have applied!

But Boss Bai didn’t do that; instead, he approached Tu linlin directly, which showed absolute trust in him!

“I must do well!” Tu linlin vowed to himself.

With a determined mindset, Tu linlin felt even happier. He couldn’t wait to head to where his grandmother lived and share this good news with her.

However, upon seeing his grandmother, all of his good feelings turned into anger.

His grandmother, kind and adorable, the one who doted on him, sat outside the treehouse under the scorching sun, wearing tattered clothes, gnawing on a long-dried carrot.

If it wasn’t for his father’s treehouse behind his grandmother, with golden corn hanging from the rafters, Tu linlin would have thought that his father had gone bankrupt and reduced to begging on the streets.

But that wasn’t the case. He hurriedly went over to take the withered carrot from his grandmother’s hand and called out with a choked voice, “Grandma!”

His grandmother trembled as she lifted her head, revealing a face smeared with dirt. Once she saw Tu linlin’s face clearly, her eyes instantly filled with murky tears. Her voice quivered as she exclaimed, “Tu linlin!”

“Grandma, what… what happened to you?”

Her lips trembled, and she didn’t answer directly. Instead, she suppressed her sobs but couldn’t hold them back, and both grandson and grandmother embraced each other, crying uncontrollably.

Perhaps they heard the commotion, and a man emerged from the treehouse. He was thin and bore some resemblance to Tu linlin.

Noticing the people at the door, Tu linlin wiped away his tears and stared angrily, “Dad, why are you treating Grandma like this!”

His father’s face showed a hint of shame, and he mumbled in a low voice, “Tu linlin, you don’t understand the situation.”

“What do I need to understand? No matter what happened, you can’t treat Grandma like this!”

At this moment, another person came out from the treehouse. It was a charming woman who disdainfully glanced at the grandmother and grandson, saying in a peculiar tone, “Oh, I thought it was someone causing trouble at my door. It’s just Tu linlin, missing your grandma, came to visit her?”

As soon as the woman appeared, Tu linlin’s hands began to tremble slightly, and fear showed in his eyes. Suppressing his fear, he said, “You… You’re not my grandma! I came to see my grandmother!”

The woman nonchalantly twirled a strand of her hair and casually said, “Oh, visiting the old lady again? Tu linlin, you need to be careful. Your grandma has gone mad, and she might hurt people without warning.”

The trembling old woman behind Tu linlin heard this and quickly tugged at his clothes, shivering, “Not… not mad, not… mad…”

He reached back and held his grandmother’s hand, comforting her. Then, Tu linlin glared at the woman, “You’re the one who’s mad! My grandma is perfectly fine! Why are you treating her like this?”

He turned to his father again, but found him avoiding eye contact, unwilling to meet his gaze. The woman on the side chuckled contentedly, “Hehehe, your grandma is insane, always causing chaos at home, and even injured me. So, we had to make her stay outside. Isn’t that right, honey?”

“Yes,” his father replied.

Tu linlin couldn’t believe what he was hearing. The woman had always been malicious, so he wasn’t surprised by her treatment of his grandmother. However, his father, his grandmother’s own son, agreed to treat her this way! Was this the same father who used to play with him all over the place when he was a child?

Tu linlin had no hope left. He stared firmly at his father, gritting his teeth, “I’m taking Grandma with me! From now on, I won’t come here again, and we will cut off all relations with you!”

His father remained unmoved, but the woman behind him laughed, “Is that so? That’s wonderful! Without you two burdens, our lives will be much better. But since you’ve cut off ties, don’t come looking for us again!”

“Absolutely not!” Tu linlin said with determination.

“Ah, that’s great then! Goodbye!”

Finally, after giving his father a bitter glance, Tu linlin took out a sour fruit and placed it in his grandmother’s hand. Supporting her, the two of them headed towards a crack in space.

“Out, out, it’s a personal grudge! Get out quickly!”

Hearing the commotion outside, Bai Xianzhi came out, and almost all the customers in the store had been driven out. About a dozen people blocked the entrance, glaring at him. The leader was the man who had caused a scene at the Three Thousand Food House not long ago. Bai Xianzhi frowned, “What are you all doing?”

Longlin gave a contemptuous smile, “Boss, you don’t think you can just offend the Dragon and Royal clans so easily, do you?” He glanced around the store and gestured, “Go, my men, wreck this place!”

The shrimp soldiers and crab generals behind him received their orders and went toward the tables and chairs. Meanwhile, Longlin, accompanied by his two brothers, approached Bai Xianzhi, and he said fiercely, “I don’t believe you can defeat the three of us working together!”

Ten seconds later, Bai Xianzhi witnessed a bizarre scene in his shop. Several men were frozen in various poses—some had their hands raised high, others were leaping in the air, some were half-squatting, some wore fierce expressions, and… some were embracing each other?

Bai Xianzhi circled around the two men, utterly puzzled as to why the two table smashers would be hugging each other. It was truly confusing.

Returning to the man causing the disturbance, Bai Xianzhi tapped his head gently, saying, “I’m a person who loves peace and dislikes violence and fighting. However, that doesn’t mean I’m easy to bully. This is your punishment. Will you cause trouble again in the future? If so, don’t move now. If not, rotate your eyeballs to the left… thirty times.”

Longlin widened his eyes in shock. Thirty times? Was Bai Xianzhi asking them to rotate their eyeballs? That’s impossible!

Bai Xianzhi pretended to be disappointed, saying, “Ah, it seems you plan to cause trouble again. In that case, I can’t let you off easily. Let me think about what dish I can make with dragons—Dragon Tendon Noodles? I wonder how dragon meat tastes—steamed or stir-fried? But you three dragons must be quite large, with a lot of meat. I guess I’ll make a bit of everything and see which flavor is the best in the end.”

“… But you three are quite large, so preservation is an issue. Even if the dragon meat isn’t fresh, it won’t taste good, right?”

Exactly! Longlin and his two brothers frantically rolled their eyes.

Bai Xianzhi acted as if he didn’t notice and suddenly became excited, saying, “No worries, since your dragon bodies are so big, I’ll just cut off a small piece of meat at a time. You won’t die, right? This way, I can ensure the freshness of the dragon meat!”

Longlin and his brothers were even more terrified, with their eyes twitching from all the rolling. Still, they didn’t dare let their guard down, fearing that the restaurant owner, who wanted to eat dragons, would suddenly take out a knife and cut meat off them.

After teasing them for a while and seeing that they were truly frightened, Bai Xianzhi laughed lightly, “Alright, considering how many times your eyeballs rolled, I’ll let you off this time.”

He then took out a communication device from Longlin’s pocket, used Longlin’s iris to unlock it, found the call log, and dialed a number labeled “Mother.” After explaining the situation in a few sentences, he hung up the call and said in front of the three terrified dragon brothers, “I called your mother, and she should be coming to pick you up soon. You can rest assured.”

However, the expressions of the three dragon brothers became even more terrified. Rest assured? Yeah, right! Their mother was a fiery-tempered fire dragon who detested them for using their royal status to act arrogantly outside. Now that they were caught causing trouble, they were afraid of being beaten to death by her!

Scenes of being scolded by their mother from childhood to now replayed in their minds, and tears welled up in their eyes.

Bai Xianzhi noticed the glistening tears and sighed, “Indeed, a mother is irreplaceable. It seems this applies to dragon clans as well. The mere thought of their own mother can move them to tears. It’s truly touching! Rest assured; I will make sure to hand you all over to your mother, safe and sound.”

The three of them exclaimed, “No! Just hit us instead! That way, we might get hit less. Whimper, whimper, whimper…”

However, their inner thoughts were destined not to be heard by Bai Xianzhi.
