My Hero Academia- Thunderstorm

Denki: Mirai, how dare you! You cost me the match!

Mirai: You shouldn't have let your guard down.

Midoriya: I won!

Denki: You ruined one the only opportunities I had to beat Deku's current strength.

Mirai: I already told you...

The ground started shaking and the supercomputer screamed out a system alert.

WARNING! WARNING! UNKNOWN ENTITY IS RUNNING AMOK IN THE SYSTEM MEMORY! MOST OF THE SYSTEM ATTENTION IS BEING DIVERTED TO STOPPING THE INTRUDER! DUE TO THIS THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND YOU MAY CHANGE! BE ADVISED THAT IT COULD BE ANY PLACE FROM THE HOST'S MEMORIES AND COULD INCLUDE A MIXTURE OF ALL THREE!

Denki: What? Can we leave? Maria?

No response.

Mirai: I can't believe this is happening. Just our luck. I should've seen this coming.

Midoriya: What could the intruder have to gain from hijacking the system? Why didn't they just steal the device if they wanted it?

Mirai: It's probably the spirit that inside Denki.

Denki: I don't know. Don't look at me.

Our surrounding started to crumble and distort as a variety of different images seemed to form. Some places I recognized like my house or U.A, but there were places I didn't recognize at all. It seemed to be a labyrinth of shifting building, stairs, and walkways. There had to be a way out somehow. It was then that I saw some red text in the sky that says to defeat the gatekeeper to escape. The problem was finding the gatekeeper in the first place. It was at this moment that Mirai took charge of the charge and said to follow him. He seemed to know where he was going as we followed him through numerous twists and turns until we managed to find the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper was a tall, old man wearing what looks like to be a pirate's outfit.

Midoriya: How did you know where to go?

Mirai: It hard to talk about. It has to deal with the gatekeeper that's blocking the exit. He's from my memories and he is no joke.

Denki: How powerful is he?

Mirai: With the right equipment, he could stand up against All Might without losing for a while. However, it seems that he's not wearing his special armor. Well, if he was wearing it, then no matter what we did we would lose anyway. I'll act as bait while you guys sneak attack him from behind. I have something he wants, so he'll pay close attention to me.

Midoriya: Sounds like a plan.

Denki: When there's an opening, I'll paralyze him long enough for all three of us to escape.

Midoriya and I sneaked up behind him as Mirai confronted him.

???: Who are you? Oh, those eyes! It must be my lucky day! I'll add them to my collection.

Mirai: You took everything from me! For what?! Some eyes! Murderer!

???: Maybe so, but how I can possibly lose an opportunity to break an established law of the universe.

While Mirai distracted the mystery man, Midoriya used One for All and I combined my lightning (blue and yellow) to attack the man. He dodged Midoriya's assault but took my lightning head on. His whole body was electrocuted, and his body was emitting smoke. He fell to the ground while I wondered if my attack was too serious. That was my thought until something on his wrist glowed green and all the wounds on his body were gone like it never happened. Before anyone could react, he bit his finger and shot bullets of his blood at us. We all managed to dodge but then all of a sudden, I saw Mirai freeze. That's when I saw the worst possible thing happen. He took out a knife out of his pocket and cut Mirai's head clean off with blood spewing everywhere. I saw his head rolling down on the ground with his eyes wide open in despair. I couldn't believe it. Mirai's one of the strongest people I know. How could he be beaten this easily? Why? Why? Why? Am I next? No, this can't be. I watched him in horror as he gauged out Mirai's eyes and slowly walked toward me. I know I have to run but I couldn't. I don't know if it was his quirk or my own fear that was rooting me in place. The next thing I know I'm being picked up by someone. I couldn't see his face since he was wearing a mask, but he dragged me to the exit and I woke up in the real world. I looked over at Mirai to make sure he still had his head and sure enough, he did. Midoriya was still in shock over what happened but I think the only one to die in there was Mirai. It took me a couple of minutes before I worked up the courage to ask Mirai if he was okay, but he just shook his head. He had his eyes closed and he looked scared to even think about it. Maria came in and saw our expressions and opted to let us process what we went through before escorting us home.

I couldn't sleep soundly at all that night and for nights to come.
