How am I going to find someone that's pure of heart? We need someone like Son Goku from Dragon ball to accompany us to the old witch. The only person that I think that could fit that bill is Midoriya, so I decided to give him a call in the hopes that he says yes.

Denki: Hey. How's it going?

Midoriya: Good. Just reorganizing some notes from class. What's up?

Denki: Well, do you want to accompany me to Ginger town to meet this old witch.

Midoriya: This seems random. Why do we need to go there?

Denki: Well, it's because I need her help and she only accepts people that are pure of heart.

Midoriya: You think I'm pure of heart? I don't think so.

Denki: Well you're my best shot, so could you think it over.

Midoriya (Inner Monologue): This would be a great opportunity to not only get more information on Denki and possibly on what he knows about One for All. I need to make sure that my secret isn't out of the box yet.

Midoriya: Count me in.

[Cut to the Weekend]

Midoriya, Mirai, and I head toward the old witch on the outskirts of town. When we finally get to the house we found we knock on the door and wait in anticipation. When the door, we are not met with an old woman but a small child with blue eyes and long blue hair.

Denki: Does an old witch named Maria live here by any chance?

???: Oh, you're looking for her. Just go down the hall and talk to the little boy with white hair.

Denki: Okay. Thanks.

Midoriya: Sorry for intruding.

Mirai: Why did I feel like we were going to meet a giant bug man with a four lettered name?

We went down the hall only to meet a teenage boy with short white hair eating cereal at the table.

???: What are you doing here?

Denki: We wanted to meet Maria. Do you know where she is?

???: I do, but I have to give you the test to make sure you are all pure of heart first. All of you must touch my hand and then I'll tell you if any of you are pure of heart.

All of us touch his hand and then the next thing I knew I was on the ground and losing consciousness.

[Seven hours later]

I woke up and immediately became very upset. How many times do I have to forcefully lose consciousness in a month? This has got to stop. I look over and see the others are getting up as well. At least I'm not chained up or going on a rampage this time. Right in front of us is the girl and boy from earlier.

Denki: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!

???: Calm down. My name is Maria and I'm the one you seek. The one who knocked you out is my great, great, great grandson.

Lin: Hey. The name's Lin. I know it inconvenienced you but using my quirk helps me out a lot. Instead of having to sleep 18 hours tonight, I might only have to sleep 10.

Midoriya: So, the side effect of not using your quirk is to sleep for an extended period of time. Interesting. Does this mean that mean that if you touched over twenty people would you need any sleep at all or is there a limit? Has anyone ever resisted falling asleep with your touch?

Maria: I know you didn't come here to ask my grandson all these questions. You're here about your black lightning problems, right.

Denki: Correct. Since you already know then can you talk to the spirit in my body and ask what it wants?

Maria: Unfortunately, my quirk does not allow me to communicate with spirits. My quirk is the ability to live for a very long time and the ability to read memories. I took the liberty of reading all three of your memories while you were unconscious.

The whole room goes deathly silent. You could the tension in the air after that one statement. No one's willing to say anything that would reveal their secrets to everyone else in the room.

Maria: I've had this ability and lived long enough to know that secrets are bad for the soul, but I won't force you to say anything you don't want to. I will offer some advice instead. Denki, I looked over your memories and I can tell that your dad has more of the missing pieces, but I doubt he'll tell you.

Denki: Another dead end.

Maria: Mirai, don't look behind you and look forward to the future.

Mirai: I am.

Maria: No, you're not. Your vision is cloudy, and it will be your undoing.

Midoriya: Don't say anything that could potentially leak my secret.

Maria: It's funny you say that because the two people here are...

Mirai & Denki: Stop.
