[While the Denki vs. Konton match is going on]

Popstar: Why is Denki losing ground? Who's his opponent?

Freezer: Apparently, this guy Konton has the power to suppress people's quirks and create illusions. His body emits an invisible scent that affects the brain and tricks the body. The brain is tricked into believing that the quirk shouldn't be activated. That's why he's getting weaker and weaker seemingly without reason.

Mini: If that's the case, then how do illusions come into the picture.

Freezer: Well it seems that by tricking the brain to believe that they shouldn't be using their power it causes their victim to believe they're in a situation where they believed their power would be useless. For example, the illusion you could face could be Eraser Head if you fought against him before, because there's no point in using your quirk because he's using his on you. Even if that's the case it doesn't make sense why he's doing so poorly. In the reports I've read, it seems that when he tries to affect really strong quirks his quirk doesn't work as well and wears off. He tried it on Todoroki once and even though he limited his quirk it was nowhere near enough to stop him from beating Konton up pretty badly.

Popstar: So what your saying is that Konton is way stronger than before and can beat Denki. That's amazing and all, but why do you know his information like the back of your hand?

Freezer: You don't expect me to make a bet and not check my chances at victory. Laughable. Although, there was one contestant that I've only been able to extract a limited amount of information on.

Mini: Oh. That's rare even for you sis. I'm curious now. Who manages to get through your sources?

Freezer: It's none other than the opponent for the winner of this match. It's Mirai.

[To a T.V. in an evil underground lair]

The doctor who kidnapped Kyoka and experimented on her is currently watching the U.A. Sports festival while cl.i.c.k.i.n.g on a device that seems to activate something far in the distance.

Doctor Lee: It's working better than I expected, but the materials for making the product are way too expensive and hard to find. It is great to see it is working as intended. As for the consequences of the drug, well it's not my problem. Though having my golden goose would make this drug even more effective and fun to work on. It is nice to see it being used on the miscreant that dared take her from me in the first place.

You hear a roar of evil laughter is heard throughout the hideout.

{Konton POV}

I'm so glad that I'm beating this guy. He needs to pay for ruining my best friends chance to get to the final round and show his sister how strong he is. It may not mean anything to this chump, but it would mean everything to his sister who's in the hospital and to see him shrug it off angered me immensely. I want to humiliate him a little before throwing him out of the ring, so instead of pushing him off I just kept attacking him around the ring. At this point, it wasn't really much of a fight and him flailing around angrily. It seemed really angry and upset at me, it must be because of what he's seeing but I don't care. I'm here for revenge. I picked him up by his collar off the ground and told him that this fight is over. He seemed to have caught a second wind since he started discharging some black electricity but I was having none of that and punched him again to stop him. I've had my fun, so its time to push him out of the ring and secure my victory. I slowly walked over to him when all of a sudden he started discharging a bunch of black electricity all around his body. How? My quirk should leave him pretty much powerless? This doesn't make any sense? Then a large lightning bolt struck my body and sent me straight out of the ring and into the stadium wall. Before I lost consciousness, I looked up and saw my opponent but I could tell that he was different somehow.
