MEIWITA Chapter 834: Lou Mu Bai Shows His Might

The aliens in the red camp had already started refining and arranging today’s Five-Element Domain Array two years ago. They were very confident that they could bury Lou Mu Yan and the others here.

The masked man in black was the next patriarch of the Sprit Rune Clan, and he was successfully promoted to grade 9 array master a year ago.

The specialisation the Spirit Rune Clan was best at was the Path of the Arrays.

So he, together, with two other grade 9 array masters in the clan, upgraded the Five-Element Domain Array to a higher level using another year.

However, the two of them refused to come together to ambush the Red-Clothed Twin Killers, and they only helped in the refining of the array, array tools, and control balls.

What a joke. Those were the two biggest fiends, notorious throughout the Foreign Battlefield. They had no sense of righteousness, let alone the consciousness of sacrificing their little selves to achieve whatever victory on the battlefield. What they valued the most was still their own life.

The masked man didn’t force them either. It’ll be fine once he had the participating leaders refine the control ball that could enhance the array, so that he could control the overall situation when the time came.

Elemental energy was inserted bit by bit into the array ball, and behind each leader stood a few Unification Realm Sword Masters to channel elemental energy into them.

After all, this array was mainly based on consumption. As long as half of the opponent’s elemental energy was consumed, the array could begin its most powerful automatic attack, and the opponents would undoubtedly die.

However, they didn’t expect that the man with long, dark blue hair could take out a peak-quality defence-type divine tool, which reduced the consumption of the elemental energy essence. Since that was the case, then it would simply depend on who could endure until the end.

However, regarding the treasure of the sea race in Ye Qing Han’s hands, the aliens all suppressed the scorching heat of desire in their eyes, thinking that after killing everyone, it’d be their turn to contend for this treasure.

In the blue light cover, Ye Qing Han was sitting cross-legged on the ground, his mind and elemental energy controlling the pillar of the Northern Sea, a peerless treasure given to him by the Northern Sea King for protection after he returned to the Northern Sea.

With Lou Mu Yan’s grade 9 spiritual wine that could restore elemental energy, Ye Qing Han could activate most of the defence functions within this treasure.

Either way, they’d just drink spiritual wine when their elemental energy was exhausted. What they were afraid of the least was fighting a protracted war with their opponents.

The masked man also saw through the other party’s plan. When they set up this trap before, they didn’t expect the other party to have such a precious and peak-quality divine tool. This kind of treasure could only be possessed by the most powerful Ancestor of the Clan.

“Change the array, attack.” His expression was grim as he ordered the other leaders.

Before they came, they made several strategic arrangements. Among them, if Lou Mu Yan and the others could resist the loss of elemental energy and essence, they’d change to the Five-Element Attack Array.

After hearing the masked man’s arrangement, several people immediately took out a small ball, each of different colours, and poured elemental energy into it to enhance it.

A series of five-coloured beams of light fell, and the five-coloured circles of light that surrounded Lou Mu Yan and the others on the ground suddenly became brighter.

The masked man took out a flag and waved it continuously.

After a while, several light halos formed little by little in the five-coloured light circle and from each halo, powerful five attribute sword auras continuously shot out.

Ye Qing Han’s eyes turned cold, and he formed a few Taoist seals, punching it into the treasure in his hand. The blue light cover shone brightly, as gentle as sea water.

Countless five-coloured sword auras brushed past the blue light cover, as if being sucked into it like a sponge, but it was obviously very difficult for Ye Qing Han to control it.

Such a peak-quality divine tool needed a Sword Master at Celestial Unification Realm to fully control it. His cultivation base was only at Intermediate Unification Realm, and he still struggled to activate its complete defensive ability.

He immediately took out a pot of grade 9 spiritual wine and took a few sips, then continued to enhance the divine tool. He must guard the overall battle situation for Lou Mu Yan two.

Lou Mu Yan and Ming Xiu were still searching for flaws in the array, and they wouldn’t be able to break it for the time being.

Seeing Ye Qing Han’s face turn pale after activating the divine tool, Lou Mu Bai’s expression changed, and he said: ‘Brother Ye, let me give you a hand too.”

He couldn’t help much before—after all, he didn’t have a treasure that could resist the loss of elemental energy essence, but he had a way to deal with an attack array.

Then a dark golden bead the size of a fist flew out from his body. The core of the bead was entwined with layered slivers of black, and it had a dangerous, mysterious, and powerful feel.

“Alright, Brother Mu Bai, please.” Ye Qing Han nodded.

The relationship between him and Lou Mu Bai were quite good, not only because of Lou Mu Yan, but because they were more in tune with each other, and they could be regarded as close friends too.

Lou Mu Bai activated the dark golden bead he had, then enhanced a layer of a black light cover with very strong defence atop of the blue light cover.

“Brother Mu Bai, this treasure is pretty extraordinary!” Ye Qing Han realised that with the enhancement of Lou Mu Bai’s treasure, the five-coloured sword aura that attacked could no longer reach his divine tool.

“This is a self-defence treasure bestowed by Master.” Lou Mu Bai chuckled and said: “Withdraw the overall defence first, you only need to withstand the loss of elemental energy essence. Leave the five-element sword aura’s attacks to me.”

Ye Qing Han wasn’t argumentative either. He immediately removed all defences of the divine tool, and the strained condition of his body was quickly relieved.

And he could also tell that Lou Mu Bai’s treasure was no worse than his Northern Sea treasure—its grade was even higher than his treasure. If he guessed correctly, it might be a divine treasure.

The demons who were also trapped in the array were very shocked to see how powerful the two were. If they were trapped by the array by themselves, then they really would only be able to wait for death.

Most of the demons relied on their strong physical bodies and innate talents, so they weren’t good at arrays, alchemy, and smithing. Not to mention peak-quality divine tools, even ordinary divine tools were considered very good treasures among the demon race.

The strong alliance of the several people made those from the two demon clans sigh. The notorious reputation of these people wasn’t in vain—their strength was actually stronger than in the rumours.

At the same time, they were also inexplicably relieved. They really didn’t want to die, and with Lou Mu Yan and the others, they probably wouldn’t die.

“What kind of treasure is that? It can actually block all the five-attribute sword auras we’ve activated outside.” A leader exclaimed, looking at the dark golden bead in Lou Mu Bai’s hand with fiery eyes.

The woman with the cyan pattern on half her face gasped with widened eyes as she said: “That’s a divine treasure, a legendary divine treasure.”

She was a grade 9 smith, and what she had learnt was imperceptibly influenced by what she had seen and heard since she was young, so although she had never seen a divine treasure, but she still recognised it.

With such a pervertedly strong defence function and the aura it exuded, she mustn’t be wrong. It was a divine treasure.

If it were said that a peak-quality divine tool could only be refined by an advanced-level grade 10 smith and array master together, then a divine treasure could only be refined by a legendary divine-grade smith.

Such treasures were generally only circulated in the Upper Immortal World1, and if one is even obtained on a lower interface, it’d be something that countless Peak-Phase Unification Realm powerhouses would desperately contend for.

“What? That’s actually a divine treasure?”

They never expected that by just besieging Lou Mu Yan and the others, it would lure out a peak-quality divine tool, and a legendary divine treasure.

Right now, the several leaders of the aliens could no longer hide the scorching temperature and greed in their eyes. They all stared at the small dark golden ball in Lou Mu Bai’s hand fervently.

If they could take this divine treasure as their own, then the possibility of dying on the Foreign Battlefield would become extremely small.

1I don’t know if the 修仙界 (Immortal Cultivation World) Lou Mu Yan comes from is the same as the 上仙界 (Upper Immortal World) they speak of. Neither do I know if the author just made a mistake (as the author has done many times with other proper nouns, and even changed some names completely hahaha). But clearly the Upper Immortal World is an even higher interface than Guang’ling World based on context, and considering the similar name, the aliens might just be using a different name for the same world, but idk. I do remember a pretty interesting plot point that’s coming up very soon that’s related, but I can’t remember this detail.
