My Evil Imperial Wife is Too Arrogant

Chapter 515: Blood Devouring Ant Colony

Lou Mu Yan flew out and saw Jin Se and the others running away in a sorry state when approaching. A closer look showed that they were followed by a colony of scarlet ants.

“That’s the Blood Devouring Ant, Owner, Owner, their crystal cores are useful to me.” Chi Huang said excitedly as she stuck her head out of Lou Mu Yan’s sleeve.

She had been stuck at the peak of Tier 7. If she could refine a portion of the Blood Devouring Ant’s crystal cores, then she could breakthrough to Tier 8 and produce Scarlet Bee colonies.

Lou Mu Yan’s eyes lit up. She flew up and stood behind Jin Se and the others.

With a raise of her sleeve, orange flames floated out like huge fiery clouds.

Jin Se and the others hadn’t yet reacted, and only when the blazing heat came from behind did they turn around.

“Junior Sister Lou, it’s Junior Sister Lou.” An excited smile instantly rose on Zi Che Shi’s calm face, as if seeing Lou Mu Yan was his hope of living.

The others also stopped, and in addition to the Eight Extremes Sect pupils, there were also several pupils of the Medicine Sect.

Wherever the clouds of flames passed, fist-sized Blood Devouring Ants were burnt to death, and the Blood Devouring Ants behind didn’t dare to move forward rashly.

Seeing this, everyone sighed in relief, and looked towards Lou Mu Yan who was constantly forming seals in mid-air.

Her hands danced, and more than a dozen gleaming white stones flew around the Blood Devouring Ants, burying into the ground.

The last array seal was formed, and a jade rune belt emerged from her body, surrounding the Blood Devouring Ants.

Then walls of fire erupted from the ground, and groups of Blood Devouring Ants burned within, shrieking.

[JI!!] Suddenly, a sharp ant cry sounded from the distance.

Lou Mu Yan’s lips rose into a merry arc—the Empress of the Blood-Devouring Ant Colony appeared.

If the Chi Huang devoured and refined the Tier 9 Blood-Devouring Ant Colony’s Empress’s crystal core, then there was also hope to jump two phases in a row and advance to Late-Stage Tier 8.

The advancement of Demonic Beasts and human Sword Masters weren’t the same. No matter how fast their cultivation speed was, there wouldn’t be the situation of having unstable cultivation bases. After spending just a little bit of time to consolidate a little, it wouldn’t affect the latter stages of cultivation.

“Owner, Owner, the crystal core and blood essence of the Tier 9 Blood Devouring Ant Empress can promote my first mutation.” Chi Huang’s small, tender face was filled with excitement.

Her Scarlet Bee bloodline was very pure, and she could undergo nine mutations. With each successful mutation, her strength would greatly increase.

Lou Mu Yan rubbed her little head to reassure her: “I’ll get it for you later.”

“Owner’s the best!” Chu Huang gently rubbed Lou Mu Yan’s neck, with a httn of admiration in her eyes like a child to their parent.

“Junior Sister Lou, thank you so much this time!” Jin Se said gratefully to Lou Mu Yan.

The others also cupped their hands to Lou Mu Yan and thanked her. If she hadn’t appeared to burn the Blood Devouring Ants with methods as strong as thunder, then they could’ve been swallowed by those Blood Devouring Ants as food when their physical strength was exhausted.

Although most of the Blood Devouring Ants that attacked them were of Tier 6 and 7, but their numbers were too terrifying. They were fine against one or two thousand, but against tens of thousands, they were simply hitting stones with eggs.

However, the power of Lou Mu Yan’s flames sure were fierce, and the more than a dozen core pupils from the Eight Extremes Sect and the Medicine Sect couldn’t help but be amazed.

Why was there such a huge gap between people? Lou Mu Yan was still several years younger than them, but in terms of specialisations, they weren’t as strong as her, and even their strength was much inferior!

“Senior Sister Jin and fellow Senior Brothers are too polite. We should help each other.” Lou Mu Yan spoke to Jin Se and the others while her mind was focused on the Blood Devouring Ants of Tier 8 that were rushing over aggressively.

The Tier 8 Blood Devouring Ants all contained fire poison, which was very useful to her natal spirit flame, and the crystal cores were also required by Chi Huang, so she wasn’t in a hurry to directly clean up the Tier 9 Blood Devouring Ant Empress.

“Junior Sister Lou, your strength has skyrocketed again! The speed of your cultivation is truly beyond our expectations!” Jian Yang also obtained a place in the Land of Inheritance this time, and seeing Lou Mu Yan’s might, he couldn’t help but sigh.

He was a direct disciple of Huo Ling Long and was originally trained as a ‘Hope’ in the School, but compared to Lou Mu Yan, he wasn’t worth mentioning at all.

“Senior Brother overpraises.” Lou Mu Yan smiled modestly, “I’m just relying on the power of the spirit flame. If there’s no spirit flame, I could only escape too.”

When the others heard her words, they felt apt—after all, it was a bit embarrassing to escape in such a sorry state just now as Senior Brothers and Senior Sisters.

Whether or not Lou Mu Yan really relied on the power of the spirit flame to save them or not, seeing her gentle attitude and humble tone, they had some more affection for her.

In the fire array, Xue Xue’s golden vines wandered around freely and the crystal cores of Tier 6 and 7’s were thrown into an interspatial ring by him.

Because the spirit pets and Lou Mu Yan were in a contractual relationship, so they could come and go freely in her spirit flame without being affected.

[JI JI!!]

Suddenly, not far away, a Blood Devouring Ant colony with ants the size of buckets quickly swept over, leaving only a bare patch wherever it passed.

“Heavens! These Blood Devouring Ants are all Tier 8.” Several of the dozen or so pupils exclaimed.

Blood Devouring Ants were like Scarlet Bees, and couldn’t transform into human form under Tier 10. Their intelligence was also low, all controlled by their Empress.

Lou Mu Yan turned her head and said to them: “Senior Brothers and Senior Sisters, you can all rest here for a while, I’ll return soon.”

“If Junior Sister Lou is no match, then let’s run. It’s too dangerous for you to go up against them alone.” Zi Che Shi said with furrowed brows.

Di Shi Tian echoed: “Junior Sister Lou, your array can resist for a little, let’s leave together. As long as we get out of the olfactory range of the Blood Devouring Ants, we’ll be safe.”

The others also echoed. There were thousands of Blood Devouring Ants of Tier 8 before them. Lou Mu Yan going there was too dangerous, and the possibility of death was very high.

“Don’t worry, I know my limits. Why don’t you first go to the flying magic tool behind to rest.” Lou Mu Yan thought about it and said, fearing there might be some unexpected accident, so she suggested that they stay on the flying magic tool.

She had promised her Master to take care of the pupils of the Eight Extremes Sect, and Jin Se and the others were friendly with her, so she couldn’t let them die.

Immediately, she pointed to the flying magic tool flying over here and continued: “That’s the flying magic tool of Senior Brother Chi of the Heavenly Secret Palace. Just don’t disturb him cultivating when you board.”

The dozen or so people were stunned. They obviously didn’t expect that the flying magic tool would be Chi Xiu’s, but they were all excited. With Chi Xiu, their lives would have more guarantee.

Although many people were also curious about why Lou Mu Yan was with Chi Xiu, but they tacitly didn’t ask.

“Junior Sister, come with us too.” Jin Se said, tugging Lou Mu Yan’s hand.

Lou Mu Yan replied with a smile: “Don’t worry, Senior Sister, the Tier 8 Blood Devouring Ants are useful to me. I’m actually thinking there’s too few of them.”

“…” Hearing her words, everyone couldn’t resist twitching the corners of their lips.

They looked at the Blood Devouring Ants rushing towards them fiercely only to feel that their scalp was tingling and that it was dangerous, while Lou Mu Yan actually disliked that there were too few Tier 8 ants. Truly too powerful, truly too abnormally monstrous!

“Then be careful.” Since Lou Mu Yan already said so, then it wasn’t good for the other pupils to keep insisting. After all, she wouldn’t joke with her life.

“Mm, hurry up and go onto the flying magic tool.”

After Lou Mu Yan finished speaking, she turned into a red light and flew towards the large swarm of Blood Devouring Ants. She soon merged into the ant colony and could no longer be seen.

The other pupils all boarded the flying magic tool and watched the battle at a distance with a worried look.

Ming Xiu sat cross-legged in a room calmly, clearly believing in the strength of his own woman.

And while Lou Mu Yan was fighting with the Tier 8 Blood Devouring Ant colony, a group of superpower clan pupils lead by a Gǔ1 Clan member headed towards the Blood Devouring Ant Empress.

1welp, I just realised this Gǔ (古) has the same accent as the Gǔ (谷) in Gǔ Qing! (The Heavenly Secret Palace Sect Leader). Meaning yes, they’re pronounced the exact same. But they’re two completely different Gu’s, and it’s also different to Gu Yan Ran’s Gu Clan (顾). I don’t know what the best way to differentiateway to differentiate them are. Just know that the Gu’s are ALL different – Gu Yan Ran’s Gu Clan; Gǔ Qing from Heavenly Secret Palace; and the Gǔ Clan the new character who will appear in the next chapter belongs to.
