My Dragon

Chapter 53

Chapter 53: If You Die, I Won’t Live Either.

After descending from the sky, Nan HuaiLin’s heart was still pounding hard. Apart from laying eggs, it was the most amazing experience of his life. Too fantastic to be true. He desperately needed to find a way to release the tide of emotions in his chest, otherwise he would explode.

Fei Cheng was sitting in the driver’s seat putting on his T-shirt, when Nan HuaiLin boldly went over to him and sat on his lap.

Fei Cheng put his arm around his waist and asked with a smile, “What’s up?”

Nan HuaiLin buried his face in his neck and whispered, holding back his shame, “Hubby, car sex… Do you want to know more about it?”

Nan HuaiLin never thought that one day he would say something so explicit, and after saying it, he felt so embarrassed that he was about to spontaneously combust, but he also felt vaguely excited.

It was destined to be a crazy night, so let them be crazy to the end.

“I’d love to get to know it better.” Fei Cheng smiled and said, “I’m ready, you can start.”

Nan HuaiLin froze, did this mean he had to sit up and move himself?

He clenched his teeth, afraid to move.

Fei Cheng came in less than half an hour, which was less than half of his usual durability. He buried his head in Nan HuaiLin’s chest, panting heavily, “Baby… You’re such a little vixen.”

Nan HuaiLin was tired, but very satisfied. He held Fei Cheng’s head and stroked his hair tenderly, not wanting to say anything, just wanting to hold each other in silence and rejoice in peace.

“Let’s do it again, okay?” Fei Cheng asked in a muffled voice.

“…Whatever you want.” Nan HuaiLin whispered.

By the time they got home, it was already one in the morning.

The two of them showered together, made out some more, and then fell asleep together, as a perfect ending to a crazy wedding night.

When Nan HuaiLin woke up in the morning, his throat felt a bit uncomfortable and his head hurt a bit.

He thought he caught a cold from the cold wind in the sky last night, but it wasn’t serious.

Fei Cheng wasn’t around, and the room was quiet.

“Fei Cheng?” he called out in a soft voice.

No one answered.

When he picked up his phone and looked at it, it was after nine o’clock.

They had booked a high-speed train back to Beijing at 11:30, so they had to hurry. He hurriedly got up and washed up, then went to the living room, but Fei Cheng wasn’t there.

“Mom,” Nan HuaiLin asked. “Have you seen Fei Cheng?”

“He went out after seven,” Geng XiaoRong said. “And he didn’t say where he was going when I asked.”

Nan HuaiLin called Fei Cheng, who answered in seconds.

“Where are you?” He asked.

“On my way back,” Fei Cheng said. “Brother, how long until we get home?”

Bao GuiChen’s voice came through, “About twenty more minutes.”

Nan HuaiLin asked, “Are you with my cousin?”

“Mn,” Fei Cheng said, “I was asking your cousin to do something for me.”

“What is it?” Nan HuaiLin asked.

“I’ll tell you when I get home.” Fei Cheng said.

After hanging up the phone, Nan HuaiLin didn’t think much about it and went back to his room to pack their bags.

They didn’t bring much with them when they arrived, just a few changes of clothes, so he finished packing in five minutes.

Nan HuaiLin had nothing to do, so he took out the two red books and looked at them for a while, the corners of his mouth curled up.

He closed the red book, staggered the corners and put them on the table, then took out his cell phone to take pictures. After taking several, he selected the one he was satisfied with and added his favorite filter, saved it in the album, then clicked on Weibo and logged into his main account.

In just two months since the start of Star Country, Nan HuaiLin’s Weibo followers had soared to 18 million, a popularity that no one could match.

He knew that the tweet he was about to send might cause him to lose fans like crazy, but he didn’t hesitate, because he didn’t want to hide Fei Cheng and let Fei Cheng be the man behind him. He wanted to stand side by side with Fei Cheng like two trees, he wanted to go forward hand in hand with Fei Cheng, openly and rightfully.

Nan HuaiLin clicked on Post Weibo, entered the album and selected two photos.

One was taken on the high speed train to Suzhou, two slender hands clasped together, the dragon bone ring and the white gold ring stood out. The other was taken just now, with the two red books placed next to each other, just like their two hearts.

Nan HuaiLin thought seriously for a while, tinkered with it and entered two sentences.

[It’s lucky that I met you and you met me.]

[From now on, every day, we are together.]

Then clicked send, and took a screenshot.

Nan HuaiLin put down his phone and went out, seeing Fei Cheng and Bao Guichen entering the living room together, so he hurriedly followed them.

“What are you doing early in the morning?” Nan HuaiLin asked.

Fei Cheng didn’t answer him, but turned to Geng XiaoRong, “Mom, where’s dad?”

Geng XiaoRong said, “He went to play chess with someone.”

“I’ll tell you the same thing.” Fei Cheng handed Geng XiaoRong a pile of unknown information. Geng Xiaorong took a look at it and was astonished, “The purchase contract?

Nan HuaiLin looked at Fei Cheng in surprise, “Didn’t I say I wouldn’t let you buy it?”

Geng XiaoRong hurriedly shoved the contract back to Fei Cheng, “I don’t want it! You take it!”

Fei Cheng put the contract on the table next to him and said with a smile, “Mom, the house is bought in the name of Nan HuaiLin. It’s a finely decorated small villa, right on the edge of Taihu Lake, where the scenery is especially good. You and Father can go there for a few days a month to see the scenery of Taihu Lake and breathe in the fresh air. It’s good for your health.”

“That’s…” Geng XiaoRong looked at Fei Cheng and Nan HuaiLin, not knowing what to do.

Bao GuiChen helped. “Aunt, just accept it as Fei Cheng’s bride price for Lin Lin.”

Nan HuaiLin whispered to his cousin, “How much did it cost?”

“Twelve million,” Bao GuiChen replied in a whisper. “Paid in full in one lump sum. It was unbelievable.”

Although the two men were whispering, Geng XiaoRong could hear them clearly. But without waiting for him to say anything else, Fei Cheng pulled Nan HuaiLin out, “We have to hurry up, or we’ll miss the train.” As he walked, he looked back at Bao GuiChen, “Cousin, I need to ask you to give us a ride again.”

Bao GuiChen smiled and said, “What kind of trouble is it if it’s for family?”

When they got into the room, Nan HuaiLin couldn’t help but blame him, “I told you not to buy a house, since even if you did, my parents wouldn’t live there. You’re wasting money.”

Fei Cheng said with particular bravado, “Your husband has plenty of money, a house is just a matter of two tears, it’s nothing.”

“…” Nan HuaiLin had nothing to say.

Fei Cheng hugged him and kissed him, then suddenly frowned, “You seem to have a fever.”

Nan HuaiLin smiled and said, “It’s all because of you. The ground wasn’t enough for you, so you had to go up to the sky.”

“Come on,” Fei Cheng said with a smile. “Let husband feed you some water and you will be fine.”

“Stop it, I don’t feel too bad,” Nan HuaiLin said. “Let’s hurry up and get going, it’s after ten o’clock.”

The luggage was already packed and ready to go.

Geng XiaoRong sent them to the door of the building, Nan HuaiLin hugged her mother and said, “Mom, you and Father must take care of your health. I can earn money now, so you don’t have to save for me, just spend it generously, okay?”

Geng XiaoRong choked slightly, and said with a smile, “I know, you too. Your health is the most important. Don’t work too hard.”

Fei Cheng said next to her, “Mom, don’t worry, I will take good care of him.”

Geng XiaoRong nodded and patted Nan HuaiLin’s back, “Hurry up and go. Don’t miss your train.”

Nan HuaiLin left his mother’s embrace and got into the car with Fei Cheng. The car slowly drove out of the deep and narrow alley, Fei Cheng gently held his hand, Nan HuaiLin smiled faintly and said, “I’m fine.”

The phone suddenly rang.

Nan HuaiLin answered it and Man Tianzhu spoke in a panic, “Your Weibo has exploded! What’s going on? You got married? With whom? My God, Weibo is down!”

“Sister Zhu, calm down,” Nan HuaiLin said. “It’s just a marriage, and since I’ve reached the legal marriage age, it’s reasonable and legal to get married, so there’s nothing to make a fuss about it.”

Fei Cheng looked at him suspiciously, and mouthed the question, What’s wrong?

Nan HuaiLin shook his head to indicate that nothing was wrong.

“My phone is almost bursting at the seams with reporters!” Man Tianzhu asked after a brief moment of silence. “Who did you marry…? Is it Fei Cheng?”

“Hmm.” Nan HuaiLin easily admitted. “Sister Zhu, please tell Sister Shan for me. I won’t call her.”

“Oh, okay…” Man Tianzhu asked. “Where are you now?”

“Suzhou,” Nan HuaiLin said. “but I’m going back to Beijing soon.”

Man Tianzhu replied. “Then let’s meet when you come back.”

“Okay,” Nan HuaiLin said. “Bye.”

After hanging up the phone, Fei Cheng asked, “What’s wrong?”

Nan HuaiLin opened the photo album and showed him the screenshot of the post.

Fei Cheng stared blankly at the phone screen and only reacted when the screen went black, pulling Nan HuaiLin into his arms and hugging him tightly, whispering, “I’m going to cry.”

Nan HuaiLin was strangled to the point of breathlessness, raised his arms to hug him back, and said with a low smile, “Cry, cry, so we’ll have money to buy another house.”

Fei Cheng laughed out loud again, let go of him and looked into his eyes emotionally. There were a thousand words in his stomach, but he couldn’t get out even one.

But Nan HuaiLin understood it all. He took advantage of Bao GuiChen’s distraction and quickly kissed Fei Cheng on the lips, who then grabbed him into his arms and hugged him again, not letting go until they reached the station.

After thanking Bao GuiChen, the two grabbed their tickets and entered the station, and just arrived at the waiting room to hear the announcement of the ticket check, without any delay. After getting on the train and taking a seat, Nan HuaiLin felt dizzier than before, and his throat was getting more and more uncomfortable.

He took two sips of mineral water and said, “I want to take a nap.”

Fei Cheng then let him sleep against him, felt his forehead and said worriedly, “It seems that the fever is stronger than before.”

Nan HuaiLin still had the heart to joke. “I thought I would never get sick again, so your dragon essence is not that powerful.”

Fei Cheng hugged him and said, “Dragon essence can strengthen your body and prolong your life, but it can’t cure all diseases. Do you think it’s the immortal pill of Tai Shang Lao Jun?”

“Wow…” Nan HuaiLin paused and added, “So if I’m unfortunate enough to get a terminal illness, I’ll still die, right?”

“Blah blah blah!” Fei Cheng got a little angry. “Don’t say such things!”

“Feudal superstition,” Nan HuaiLin laughed. “No more. I’m going to sleep.”

Fei Cheng didn’t answer, and only after a while said, “If you die, I won’t live either.”

Nan HuaiLin didn’t hear him, because he was already asleep.

Nan HuaiLin slept the whole way again.

It was five o’clock in the afternoon when they arrived in Beijing.

Fei Cheng was pulling the suitcase with one hand and holding Nan HuaiLin’s hand with the other, following the crowd towards the exit.

Nan HuaiLin’s palms were hot and sweaty.

“We have to go to the hospital first.” Fei Cheng was worried.

“Yeah.” Nan HuaiLin felt so light-headed that he couldn’t even walk upright.

After checking out of the station and walking to the square, Nan HuaiLin’s eyes were shaken by the afterglow of the sunset and he suddenly felt darkness in front of him, “Fei…”

He didn’t even finish calling out Fei Cheng’s name, when he suddenly lost consciousness, but thanks to Fei Cheng’s quick eyes and hands, he immediately caught his limp body.
