Divine Diary Ch 13 How to Become Smart

After two days, Su Hao went to find his father.

“Memorized it?”

“Of course.”

Wu Yuntian naturally didn’t believe. 

So Su Hao returned the book and began to recite the book word for word. Wu Yuntian’s jaw dropped. How long had he taken to memorize the scriptures back in the day?

Then Wu Yuntian took Su Hao and arrived at a secluded area. He explained the contents of the book to Su Hao line by line. 

If no one explained the blood qi scripture, the vast majority would practice it wrong. It is very difficult to use words to express one’s thoughts accurately. It was easy to say “Oops, I accidentally broke the bowl”. That was easy to understand and was expressed clearly.  

But if you wanted to explain “Why did the bowl break? Did you have a fight with that person? Did something bad happen recently?”

(TLN: Looking this up, I guess breaking the bowl was used by a kid as a test of love???)

So when Wu Yuntian had Su Hao memorize, he obediently memorized it. As for what it meant, he didn’t think about it and just waited for his father to explain it. After all, his father was a high level elite warrior and was considered as very powerful.

The sky was dark by the time the book had been fully explained. Su Hao had also recorded every word of Wu Yuntian into “Cosmic Light” so he could study and review at any time.

“Are there any spots you don’t understand?” Wu Yuntian asked.

After testing and discovering the analysis was real, Wu Yuntian said: “Then our studying ends here. From now on, you will begin a very important matter. That is finding blood qi.”

“Find blood qi? How do you find it?”

Wu Yuntian revealed a mysterious smile: “Go run in the morning every day, then once you’re completely exhausted, eat some food. After eating, find a quiet place to meditate. Carefully feel the transformation process from food to energy in your body. After a while, you will be able to feel the blood qi.”

“Just like that?”

“Yes, just like that.”

Su Hao thought back to a slogan he heard before: Simple, believe, do. Ok, I’ll just do it.

He Qingqing still sported double ponytails and looked good. She had two followers with her. When Su Hao ran by them, she curiously asked: “Xiangwu, what are you doing?”

Su Hao rolled his eyes: “Running”

“Why are you running?”

Su Hao pretended he didn’t hear anything and ran off to the side. But when Su Hao’s route brought him back, He Qingqing determinedly asked: “Why do you want to run? Running isn’t fun. Why not come catch field mice with us!”

Su Hao didn’t respond and started running again.

On the third round, He Qingqing’s temper flared and she yelled: “Xiangwu, today you must absolutely join us in catching field mice.”

Su Hao was already exhausted and out of breath and didn’t want to respond, but seeing the He Qingqing ponytails were about to fly up in anger, he was afraid she would come over and drag him away. He could only respond: “He Qingqing, I already told you, I don’t play with idiots.”

Seeing Su Hao still bringing this up, He Qingqing furiously said: “Wu Xiangwu, I already told you! I’m not an idiot. Just play with us!”

Su Hao slowed down and said: “Then do you have the answer for that question?”

He Qingqing said: “The answer is dead people. It’s dead people right?”

Su Hao shook his head: “Wrong.”

He Qinging retorted: “Impossible. My daddy told me dead people didn’t need to see the doctor. He can’t be wrong. Dead people can’t do anything.”

Su Hao shook his head again: “It’s still wrong. My question was what sick people can’t see the doctor. Dead people can’t get sick so they don’t count.”

He Qingqing refused to accept the rebuttal and retorted: “Then what people is it?”

“Blind ones.”

“What?”

Su Hao said again: “It’s blind people! Because blink people can’t see, so how can they see the doctor?”

He Qingqing’s jaw dropped. Her appearance was kind of cute. 

At this time, snotnosed Tao asked little fatty to his side: “Little fatty, do you know why it’s blind people?”

Little fatty suddenly stood a bit further away from snotnosed Tao and mumbled: “I also don’t want to play with idiots anymore.”

Snotnosed Tao: “What’d you say?”

“Nothing! I didn’t say anything! Snotnosed Tao, in the future if you don’t clean your nose, don’t stand close to me.”

Snotnose Tao sniffled and said with difficulty: “Fine… Fine!” But my mom said that kids with snot will grow up healthy.”

“Dumbass!”

He Qingqing mulled over it and discovered that there was nothing wrong with Su Hao’s answer. She couldn’t say anything for a while.

When Su Hao once again ran past her, she suddenly ran over and dragged Su Hao. 

Su Hao was already as tired as a dog and his feet were about to fly off. Being suddenly grabbed by He Qingqing, he fell to the ground and brought He Qingqing down with him. The two tiny people crashed into a ball.

“What are you doing?” Su Hao was too tired to get up and glared at He Qingqing, but he didn’t want to be angry at her. Of course, this is how kids were, super annoying. 

He Qingqing’s hands tightly grabbed onto Su Hao, afraid he would run away. She seriously said: “Wu Xiangwu, today you have have to play with us. It doesn’t matter what you say. If you don’t play with us, I’ll have snotnosed Tao and little fatty beat you up. If I say so, do so.”

Su Hao was speechless. What the heck was this? Seeing snotnosed Tao and little fatty excitedly come over, he gave up any thoughts of resisting. Could it be that today he would be dragged away by these tenderfaced brats and have to play house with them?

No way! What happened once will happen again. In the future, wouldn’t he have to run all over the mountain with these brats? That was such a waste of time.

Su Hao caught his breath, stood back up with some effort, and patted of the dirt from his body.

“You agree?” He Qingqing began to smile thinking that Su Hao agreed.

Su Hao didn’t agree and instead asked: “Qingqing, you asked my why I was running right?”

“Yeah!” Qingqing replied.

“Then ask me again.”

He Qingqing didn’t think about it and just asked again: “Why were you running?”

Su Hao praised: “Great question Qingqing! You’ve hit the nail on the head with this question. I’ll ask you Qingqing, do you know why I’m so smart?”

He Qingqing eyes became large circles. She had always wanted to know the secret. She dumbly asked: “Why?”

Snotnosed Tao and little fatty listened in curiously.

“Because of running!”

“Running?” x3.

Su Hao calmly replied: “That’s right! It’s running.”

“Really? Running can make me as smart as you?”

“Of course. This is the secret I discovered. You can’t tell anyone.”

“Mhmm!” x3.

“Then what are you waiting for? Start running!”

“Osu!”
