Chapter 5

 Next to the bedroom is the storage room, when the door is opened, it is linked to the kitchen, and beside the kitchen is the bathroom.

Because there's no living room, the kitchen and the bathroom are quite spacious. The storage room is also full of her old things.

Su Yu, who is an orphan, has a habit similar to most poor ghosts, that is, reluctant to throw things away. 

Su Yu became dumbfounded as soon as she went out of the bedroom. Is the toilet leaking? Why is there water everywhere?

The basement wasn't tiled because it was mainly used as a storage room but when Su Yu came living here, she paid someone to cement the ground and smoothened it. Even the toilet was built with her own money.

To save money, she didn't dare buy a flushing toilet. It's not that she wasn't willing to buy it, but the price was expensive! It cost basically the same price as half-year rent here!

She had thought of buying a second-hand one but people rarely bother this kind of thing, 

Since it was hard to buy a second-hand, Su Yu had people install a squat-type toilet, which is cheap and sturdy. It was also easier to block from time to time. 

She sniffed lightly and found no smell. It was unlikely that the sewer is leaking, Su Yu heaved a sigh of relief before tip-toeing to the bathroom. 

In the end, she discovered that the water didn't leak from the bathroom but the source is the black-green cauldron in the corner of the kitchen.

Su Yu frowned, she walk to the wall and turned on the kitchen light. Su Yu finally saw what the 'cauldron' was.

She had seen large turtles more than half a diameter on TV, but seeing it with her own eyes is new. The water is still gurgling, seeing the big turtle whose diameter is about the length of her arms and length of its body half of her lower body, Su Yu has a huge headache.

Su Yu looked at the small turtle on top of a big turtle.

Ping An has grown so big, it must be heavy. If the Apocalypse is true, she can't always stay here all the time. The pets in her shop are fast...fast.

Su Yu looked at the turtle's long legs and remembered its slow-motion walking. If it was outside, zombies or other people might not be able to attack it because of its shells but it can't be always like that. 

Now is not the time to think about it! She has to quickly stop Suisui or the whole basement will become an underground pool!

So, how to communicate with Suisui? She always felt that reptiles aren't that smart compare to the fluffs but since they were connected by the system, she might be able to communicate.

She remembered that she didn't understand Chubby before but now, it's like someone put a translator at her and she could automatically understand the meaning of their calls. 

Maybe she can try it to Suisui,

"Cough. Suisui, you should stop spitting the water out. It's not easy to clean up." The basement was humid enough but this guy just made it worse.

Suisui "..."

Suisui blinked his small bean eyes and obediently shut his mouth. Su Yu saw that Suisui struggled to climb down Ping An's shell. He walked a few laps to her and can't help but turn, showing his belly up. 

Ping An was slowly walking to her, seeing Suisui struggling, she stretched up a paw to stabilize the guy and continued walking to Su Yu.

Su Yu was a little hesitant to neared them, Ping An has grown so big that if she bit her, her whole hand will be injured. 

But seeing them helped each other, she softened up. The corners of her mouth lifted and she squatted down, touching their legs.

"Ping An has grown so big but why are you still so small?" Su Yu stretched out a finger and tapped Suisui's head. Feeling her leg being rubbed, Su Yu glanced down and saw Ping An rubbing her leg.

Ping An is the same as Ade, mutated and became so big. 

"Wait...Oh no!" Because of the time constraints, she had put the hamsters and rabbits' cages on the floor of the storage room. Now that the water is flowing everywhere, wouldn't they all drown??

Hamsters and Rabbits can't stand water!

Su Yu patted Ping An and then ran to the storage room with Suisui. Opposite the storage room are the stairs upstairs, in addition to the cages, there are some things she took from the pet shop.

 The entire storage room is about 20 square meters with iron shelves on both sides, which were left by the original owner.

And now on these iron shelves were the old things Su Yu has collected all her years. Stacked next to the shelf are the things used by the small animals such as cat litters, rabbit food, hamster food, turtle food, etc.

Some are neatly placed together and some were in a mess. The things she had bought in the Double Eleven festival were also thrown in the ground because she have move-in in a panic, as there was no time to organize it, everything became a mess.

"They're okay! It's fine!" The water didn't flood the storage room but only came near the door. The little pets were safe and sound.

Seeing the small animals are fine, she ran to the bathroom and took a mop, she started wiping the floor. There's a lot of water and the dry mop immediately became wet. 

It took a lot of work to get all the water to a basin and drain it to the toilet. When she returned to the bedroom carrying cages, the fluffs listened to her words and didn't run out and obediently waited.

Even San Pao Huo, who was never an obedient dog waited as he was suppressed by Ade's big paw.

Su Yu sat on the bed and leaned on Ah Jin's, she began to count all the members.

"1, 2, 3...20, 21. Alright, you're all together here."

Su Yu opened a cage and a hamster climbed to her palm, she caressed its fur and poked its little ears. 

"Come, show me your ability." Although she can check their abilities with the system's help, seeing it with her own eyes is a must. She had already seen San Pao Huo's and Suisui's abilities. As for Amu and Ade, it was evolution. The direction of evolution is likely to increase/strengthened their size/body. 

"San Pao Huo and Suisui are unnecessary already. I've seen their abilities." 

"Woof!" San Pao Huo snorted in dissatisfaction regarding its ability that he couldn't show. Its owner doesn't know how to appreciate its heroic posture. Ungrateful!

Su Yu let go of the hamster and they(hamsters) harmoniously stood in a line. Su Yu stared at them intently and saw the little hamster shone an inconspicuous light. Then the things in her bedroom all disappeared, other than the bed she's sitting on! 

It really is space storage!

Su Yu closed her eyes and summoned the light screen, clicked the hamster icon, and saw a message added above their heads.

[Storage Capacity: storage volume of 20 cubic meters.

Storage Location: Cheek Pouch (Each cheek pouch can store ten cubic meters [Non-Living])]

"It's amazing!" Su Yu help up Panda and gently scratched its bulging cheeks with her fingers.

The fluffy hamster was really soft. She touched the little guy's back and put him back to its team.

"It turned out that the hamsters have space powers." Amu, who was lying on the bed, stretched her neck to watch for a while and then turned emotional.

"It's amazing that such a small body can hold so many things!" 

Su Yu laughed, "I think it's more amazing that you can speak human words."

Amu shyly moved her ears and picked up the pup to her side, grabbing his neck with her mouth.

"It's cold on the ground, don't lie there, Be careful of getting stomach pain." 

Su Yu wanted to laugh even more, "You speak so neatly, but I'm afraid he can't understand you." 

Sure enough, although little xiaomu is a smart border collie, it isn't as intelligent as an adult Border Collie and much more, can't understand human words, but he obediently stays still with his mother.

In contrast, the two kittens who smell of milk began to explore again and were much naughtier. The two happened to be at the peak of kittens' fluffy appearance. So cute!

Of all the animals on the scene, the two kittens focused on the hamsters.

Cats and Mice. There's a natural connection.
