Mr Ceo's Little Lover

Chapter 3 - Going Out

The next morning, Ru Shi woke up with a killer hangover. She staggered to the bathroom, grumbling as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Sitting in the toilet seat, she remembered the previous night and sighed in embarrassment. 'How is she going to face him now?' she m.o.a.n.e.d. Getting out of her bathroom, she started pacing around her room planning on what to say to him. That's when her stomach growled, so she freshened up and left her room to get breakfast. As she exited, she saw Mu Chung coming towards her room dressed in all black. Immediately she felt a blush creeping her face.

"Good morning, Miss Ru," Mu Chang said as he approached her.

"Good morning, so where are you going all dressed up?"

"Well, I wanted to ask you out for breakfast. That's if you haven't eaten yet."

Ru Shi couldn't believe what she just heard, the guy whom she had nearly slept with is now asking her out. She felt a little awkward.

"I know I just met you and It was pretty rushed yesterday, but I really feel attracted to you and I know you do too, so I want to get to know you," seeing her face full of doubt Mu Chang explained.

"Ok…" she blushed as she answered.

**********

Standing at the door of the beautifully decorated western restaurant, Ru Shi looked at the man who walked in. Quickly she kept up, she found that there were waiters who were waiting for them as they took them inside.

Now that she thinks about it she doesn't know what he does. She sighed.

"Don't you like it?" it seems she was not very happy.

"No, it's not that I dislike it, just not used to it." She didn't understand why he brought her to such an expensive place.

Mu Chang looked at her without saying anything. Nobody actually knew what he was thinking.

After breakfast, he drove the car and parked at a cinema.

Standing in front of the cinema, Ru Shi looked at Mu Chang, 'now they're watching a movie?'

Before she could ask him why they're here, she saw him go inside so she quickly walked to keep up.

"What do you want to watch?" Mu Chang asked. Ru Shi looked at the huge poster on the wall, it looks like a romantic movie. A sly grin appeared on her face,

"Look at that," she pointed to the poster on the wall.

"Good," Mu Chang went to buy the tickets.

Ru Shi looked at the couples who came to watch the movie. Today was a Saturday, so many people had come to watch the movie.

Looking at them holding hands, talking and laughing she couldn't help but feel a little sad and envious.

Mu Chang, who bought the tickets looked at the little woman who was looking at others with an envious look, "let's go." Then he took her hand and walked away.

Ru Shi looked at him holding her hand. Her heart suddenly started to beat faster.

Sitting down and watching the movie, Mu Chang never let go of her hands. Ru Shi looked at him curiously, seeing that he was looking at the big screen seriously.

The serious expression made her fascinated. Did he do everything so seriously?

For the two hour movie, Ru Shi was a little absent-minded around him.

After watching the movie, Ru Shi walked out with Mu Chang.

Suddenly, she stopped. She saw Mu Chang had turned to look at her.

"Can we go back to the hotel?"

Mu Chang was puzzled. 'Was she not happy?'

"What's wrong?" he asked her.

"Well, I'm kind of hungry." She said faintly while looking at the ground.

"Ooh…ok, let's go back. I will cook for you."

Ru Shi looked at him with her mouth opened. Did he just say he would cook for her? No one has ever cooked for her since her parents died. How can a total stranger treat her like this?

He held her hand when he saw her envious look, and now he wants to cook for her? She remembered what her mom told her

"Xiao Ru, any man that can cook for his woman is surely a keeper, always remember that."

Maybe she should give him a chance, after all, they won't see each other again after leaving here.

When they reach the end of the doorway, Mu Chang fumbled for his keys, unlocking the door. He invites her in as he flips on the lights. Looking around, she saw the flat screen, the minimal grey rugs, and monochrome framed art. Walking over to his spotless kitchen he asked her, "would you like a drink?"

"Yes please," she followed him, "how long are you staying here?" he asked her.

"I was supposed to stay here for five days, I have wasted two days, so I'll stay here for three more days, you?"

"Same."

Finding a bottle of whiskey, he poured himself a glass.

"There's soda in the fridge, I think?" he offered her.

"Whiskey is fine, thank you," she gave him an arched look.

He slides the glass over and watches as she takes a delicate sip.

"So do you stay in China?" Mu Chang asked.

"Well, born and bred there, you?" she answered as she made her way back to the living area. He watched the sway of her h.i.p.s and felt a fresh wave of l.u.s.t. He knew people who've been in front of the mirror to get a walk like that, just to seduce men but this girl, she didn't even notice. It's all unconscious to her, as natural as breathing and he has been swayed by her…..

"Same". He answered following her over…..
