At least that's what she kept telling herself. How else would she get through today without curling up into a ball in her bed and feeling like the world's biggest loser?

Just as Ru Shi was about to leave the restaurant, she bumped into someone.

"Oh... I'm so sorry," she said embarrassingly.

"I believe this is yours," projected a deep, masculine voice towards Ru Shi.

Looking up, she caught her breath as she gazed into the dark recesses of the most enchanting brown eyes, his black hair and a rugged two-day-old beard which made the Adonis-like man standing there all the more attractive.

 In fact, it took a few seconds for her to realize his comment was referring to the bracelet dangling from his hand.

"Oh!" she s.u.c.k.e.d in a big gulp of air.

"My!" she managed to say as she grabbed the bracelet. Her mother had given her this bracelet so she really cherished it. She couldn't believe she had almost lost it.

"Thank you," she said while avoiding eye contact.

"Well, why are you here?" he asked her bluntly.

"Excuse me?" While his bluntness was offensive, she found his magnetism driving her d.e.s.i.r.e to engage with him.

"Here in Paris. Are you here on business or p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e?"

Ru Shi paused, playing idly with the strings of her bracelet.

'Why does he care... but on second thought, with those looks, who cares!'

"I'm escaping," she replied.

He stared at her with no expression, his mesmerizing eyes still fixed on her. She hated it when people stared at her like that—like they want to stare right into your soul.

"I'm Ru Shi, what's your name?" she asked holding out her hand. She had to say something—that creepy stare was freaking her out.

"Mu Chang," he replied, briefly, as he shook her hand.

"Oh, so do you work here?" Ru Shi asked him. After all, his beige-colored pants and white polo shirt were consistent with the hotel's uniform. 

"Work here?" he repeated with a frown on his face. "You think I work here?" he laughed before turning and walking away.

"Well... don't you?" Ru Shi shouted after him. He was definitely handsome enough with those piercing eyes, thick hair and powerful physique and a cold temperament that made people dare not approach.

Now that she thought about it, no ordinary worker could have such a temperament. Was he a guest?

Oh well, Ru Shi thought as she shrugged her shoulders. It would not be the first time that she thought a man was something he was not. She then left the restaurant.

Now that she's already here she has to at least have fun, only by having fun can she forget everything.

The moment Mu Chang entered the club there were multicolored flashing lights on the dance floor, but not bright enough to reach beyond that. It was very crowded tonight. As he made his way to the bar, sweaty bodies pressed and rubbed up against him. He didn't mind though, as it's the fastest way across the room. He felt their eyes on him as he passed, he had always hated places like this, but he wanted to forget everything and have fun.

It's been two years since she left without saying anything to him, she never gave him a call or even sent him an email. All he could do was bury himself into work in order to forget her, now he needed a break. Damn! He doesn't even remember the last time that he got laid. Well, tonight he was going to f.u.c.k someone. That's why he's here, trying to get laid with no strings attached.

Just as he was searching for his prey, he saw her, the woman he met this afternoon. On the dance floor, she wore a flaming navel shirt, a bow at the hem, and a short skirt wrapped her h.i.p.s, revealing the slender legs.

She didn't pay attention to the stunning and coveted eyes of the men on the side, just jumping and twisting her body as if she wanted to release all the flattering's of the whole body. She looked so hot and s.e.xy completely different from the woman he saw this morning.

At this time, a man slowly approached, coming to her side, then turned and danced with her.

He saw her faintly glare at the man, her lips slightly raised, that smile was even more charming.

The man looked so horny, he couldn't help but reach out and hold her waist, while the other big hand wanted to hook her chin. Such a beautiful woman was in front of him. Who doesn't want to get a taste?

He bowed his head slowly, trying to kiss her.

Mu Chang squinted his eyes cold and glared at the man, he clenched his fists. He wanted to go and teach that man a lesson. He had no idea why he had that thought, after all, he just met her this morning and they didn't even have a proper conversation. He just felt so possessive, uncomfortable and scared like someone was trying to take some very important thing from him.

In the center of the dance floor, the lights flash. When the man's kiss was about to fall, suddenly the music changed. Her body flexed backward and then turned to the side.

Mu Chang breathed a sigh of relief, his eyes never left her as if he's afraid that she will disappear in the next minute.

Just as he was about to approach her, he saw the man on the dance floor sat opposite her

"This lady, can you please have a drink with me?"

Ru Shi squinted, not looking at the man in front of her. The slender fingers gently held the glass and slowly swayed, lazy yet intriguing.

Her eyes got slightly cold, completely without the charm on the dance floor.

Gosh, this woman is so mysterious having different sides. He wondered what side she would show him when she was under him. He got hard just thinking about it.

"Please, can you leave me alone, don't force me to be rude ok?" Ru Shi said with no emotion. Even though she wanted to have fun and lose her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y before leaving Paris, her taste wasn't that bad. She needed a hot masculine guy like the man she met this morning.

Just as the man was about to touch her completely disregarding her warning he heard a cold voice behind him,

"Your mother didn't teach you, to never force a lady right?" the cold voice said without any emotion.

"How dare... " The moment the man saw Mu Chang's eyes he felt inexplicably chilly. He knew that a man with such eyes isn't someone that he can offend. So he just glared at Ru Shi and left.

Ru Shi turned her head to see the person who just helped her, that's when she met the mesmerizing eyes which has been haunting her since this morning...
