Chapter 42 - Nala

Boichi was enjoying her dream of her and Cecil enjoying a normal life with little one running around. Til her lieutenant woke her up from the most pleasant fantasy she has cooked up in that deadly head of hers.

Boichi we found him he is with two others according to Cynthia, he is with two others moving east or north. The other is a human and an Arabian Centaur.

Good work, Cynthia tell Mackenzie to notify the boss. Let's go get them girls if we can capture them, the boss might reward me let's hustle. She and her brood moved along towards Sea.

Sea was chatting with Nala asking why she had pretended to have amnesia? To tell him anything about her travels, even trying to get her to open up about just the time she spent with the Penghou. They were about thirty kilometers north of the village in open grassland. The group distracted by their own thoughts.

Shaka caught sight of a spell, heading towards them there are one, four , five people. Why are they attacking? Ah s*** that looks like a....

As a huge undead horse[cursed], atop the horse a knight arrived before them, she was from the Church Of The Undying.

Give me the girl or die. Sea had already started to unstrap himself from the carriage. He was immediately moving towards one of summoned squire and the back. This time thou he pulled out a lance.

Shaka told Nala to keep moving north but do not run, makes sure to stay safe. She had frozen momentarily when Sea unstrapped himself. Shaka was circling the knight, his spear slowly lifted.

The knight sensed danger from Shaka, an energy enveloped him it was moving towards the tip of the spear. The other four were basically puppets of the knights. Sea was slowly sweeping through them.

Shaka started to move towards the knight he needed to get off the horse he was riding. The knight charged forward Shaka threw his short spear at rider the imbalance caused the horse to veer to the right. He grabbed the head of the horse twisted it downward.

The force and angle caused the horse to drop the rider and he applied pressure cracking the neck bones causing a break. He quickly stood up and smashed the core frame of the horse as it could be seen through the ribs of the horse.

Shaka rolled towards his spear, the knight was still trying fix herself the fall had dazed him a lot. It had been a while since she was in a real fight.

Shaka launched a spear thrust at the knight, she barely managed to lift her sword in time. The block was great it felt heavy. She had barely allowed her sword to leave the hilt yet the force of Shaka's blow should have at least moved her back a bit.

The knight was also a bit surprised she was planning to parry his blow and strike at him, however the weight of the blow stopped her from doing that. They sized each other up once more. She got into a stance ready to attack.

Sea was moving towards Nala, the three squires had already moved towards her. They are after her, Sea was panicked he wanted to save her from them as he thought that they must be with the people who had killed his brothers.

Shaka was occupied by the knight they both had a chance to have a great fight. Her sword started dripping with energy also. She took a few steps towards Shaka, her sword moved quickly, Shaka matched the blow, took two steps to the right trying to attack from the right side.

As the weapons meet and he moved, she threw a fist that barely landed on Shaka's hip. She was sharp as hell, Shaka felt the fist and moved to spin his spear in order to deliver a blow from bottom. She was doing the same the fist was an attempt to also knock him off balance.

They swapped blows with each other one blow landed for every four hits, they were neck and neck, blow for blow or so he thought. Suddenly the area was really cold the ground was icing over.

Each of her strikes now would also cause him to feel cold the snow flakes were building up. Shaka was in a small pickle he did not have enough time reach into his bag. The ring drain prevented him from using any magic skills he had.

Shaka adjusted his stance to his normal stance. It naturally created distance between them. He linked some Tridal Wood, which he had molded in Azi. It made his spear into a two handed weapon. He looked more deadly the natural cadence of the viper form was more alined with his own style of fighting.

He started moving like a viper in the sand. Every blow she blocked he would dance around and quickly bring another slash then a stab two step left stab at the heart. Each attack getting closer to her neck, then her heart, then her liver, she was sweating heavily every attack Shaka was launching is deadly precise and targeted at vitals.

She triggered a snow blast in an attempt push him away. When it hit him he almost at the same time threw his spear at her. The quickness of her reaction was brilliant unfortunately the spear hit her in the elbow of her sword arm.

Shaka moved towards at full speed, loosing a fist at him. She blocked with her other arm returning two kicks at him. He clasped her first kick and used the force of it to lift his body to land twisting elbow across the face.

She fell backward using her one free arm to flip kick backwards. She needed to catch her breath. Why would you go so for the filly you do not even know her leave to us and the church won't bother you anymore.

Shaka also needed about thirty seconds to create the spell he needed. Why don't you tell me what you want to do with her and I might consider letting her go to your custody, Miss? I just realized I haven't got your name yet miss knight.

She looked at him, she knew he was lying but she needed to collect herself. She moved he sword into her other hand. My name is not important what's is important is who we are. Ask yourself if you are willing to make an enemies of the Church for some girl you do not even know.
