In order for the system to be useful it had a dispersed alot of information about the continent of Samora, such as various mineral deposits, ancient sites, indigenous peoples towns, special monster spawning location and various blue prints.

The secondary function has to do with the cores, unlike a normal person they would a Lot more cores to evolve thier nano id's almost ten times more than a normal person. To move from white to blue for example a normal person needs 10 white cores and one blue core to evolve, they would need 100 white and 10 blue. Of course one could use higher quality cores from the onset which is what Shaka was planing for his troop, he knew that the red core was really a platinum core so he he would dilute the power of the red core into the white cores they collect. The white cores might look normal but the were Psudeo-purple and Psudeo-silver.
