Chapter 14

TL: Kyotot

Meng Jue was the only son of a rich merchant’s family before he entered the sect gate, but due to his parents’ gullibility his family was tragically destroyed at the age of twelve.

And his father’s most trusted friend took away all of the family’s assets.

Thanks to Meng Jue’s mother delaying the time at the cost of her life, a loyal servant sent him to the courtyard and was able to find a ray of nine deaths.1

From then on, Meng Jue did not believe in other people.

Although he was polite and decent to everyone, he never shows his heart and invariably keeps an untouchable and distant distance.

When someone smiles and talks about how gentle he was, the next day one would found out what betrayal was. And how decisive and calm the technique of killing one sword was.

It could be imagined how much he hated the original owner who kept on doing her job late in the original story.

Ning Ning took a glance at his smiling eyes before collecting her thoughts and called out.

“Senior Brother.”

They don’t have much contact now, at the start of the plot. Meng Jue only thinks she was a spoiled and arrogant little young junior sister, although there was no good feeling there was also no such things as disgust yet.

So he smiled back.

“Junior Sister Ning Ning, before master left he asked me to tell you to practice diligently and strive to improve your sword skills as soon as possible.”

He was talking about the incident where she lost to the outer disciple.

Ning Ning nodded obediently, estimating that it was time for her to be a demon again, and sure enough there was a buzz in her head.

[Ding Dong.]

[Meng Jue’s swordsmanship is superb and outstanding, although you know he doesn’t like your unruly and willful character there’s nothing you can do about him. It’s better to come up with a beauty trick. ]

[When he falls in love with you, isn’t it easy to catch the secret magic weapon.]

[Please say the following lines to Meng Jue.]

Then there was string of black and white words floating in her eyes. Ning Ning couldn’t wait to cover her eyes and scream: Mai Aiyisi!(I really don’t know what this means, I’ve been trying to find but no luck :<)

After all the original owner would always think of something that was not good.

Why do she always want to take advantage of others? She has arms and legs, she was also a swordsman who attracted much attention so why hold someone else’s thigh.

And if she really hated them, wouldn’t be better to beat those people all over the ground and find teeth by virtue of her hard study and practice?

Ning Ning couldn’t really figure the original owner.

But since the system doesn’t care if she could figure it out or not, the lines must still be read.

“Senior brother.”

When saying this, she should have weak and sad look but she really didn’t have that thick face so when saying this line her face was expressionless and motionless all the time, just like a machine.

“I’m so sad I lose to Pei Ji.”

Meng Jue: “Hmm.”

“Now even the master wants to take him as an apprentice, I have nothing else to rely on. Only you senior brother can help me.”

Meng Jue didn’t say anything.

Ning Ning took a deep breath and continued in a tone as if she were dying.

“So! Tonight at midnight! Are you free!”

She looked dull and sounded soulless, when she finished saying these her face turned while in several degrees.

According to the established plot, Meng Jue would immediately understood that the younger sister was inviting her to a tryst and refused without hesitation.

–Not to mention that the original story describes her actions and expression for a long time, such as “the voice was as charming as silk”, “fingers gently pulling on the hem of Meng Jue”, “the fragrance was overflowing”.

Even Ning Ning felt that she couldn’t hold her back but Meng Jue was able to calmly say, “no”.

She on the other hand was the complete opposite of what the original owner did, her face was now was full of reluctance, her voice was as stiff as a robot and she looks like a strong man going to her death, he must have dislike it even more.

Ning Ning had been prepared for a blunt rejection.

Unexpectedly Meng Jue hesitated for a moment and actually bend his beautiful peach blossom eyes and said.

“Okay.”

Ning Ning: What did you say? Are you crazy or am I crazy?

What she did not know was the crazier one were yet to come.

Meng Jue said in a deeper smile and surprisingly revealing a hint of pity.

“How about letting me teach you something….. other than what you know at you age?”

Ning Ning was stunned.

If only pupils could shake, her whole person has been completely shattered.

Ah.. no..

Senior brother why are you speaking so blatantly?

Do you have such persona?

Come to your senses senior brother!
