For the others, the matter wasn't of this much importance, but there were a few whose existence was at stake. Now, their influence and wealth which they acquired with evil means and their feigned reputation was at stake.

The matter of the abandoned district was yet to be solved. The last survivor who could have given them useful information regarding the sudden outburst had died mysteriously. 

He wasn't even a heart patient; moreover, he was under the care of expert medics. Then, how on earth could he have suddenly faced such a severe heart attack? 

The officials had no clue. They had investigated the wealthy businessman who was the last visitor of the patient. 

Still, because they lacked any concrete proof, they had to let him go. Now the same businessman was accused of wrongly treating his adopted child. The court only charged him a fine as punishment, and he was set free. 

But the problem was still different. 

With the recent incidents, the matter of the abandoned district was flamed by the media too, and most of the lobbyists were asking questions from the officials. 

It wasn't easy trying to dissuade with vague answers.

Several officials were present in this meeting. 

Few of them were directly assigned to solve this problem as soon as possible, while a select few of the more prominent authorities were in charge of the region and responsible for passing any order for the betterment of the abandoned district. 

There were personal agents too. 

They all were given one single task, and that was to find the real culprit and the reason behind the destruction of the abandoned district. 

The officials were rumoured to be lazy in the investigation and, they further proved this rumour right when they proved to be real slackers else the matter must have solved long ago. 

"According to the media, this accident seemed like an intentional act, and they were sending their reporters to prove their theory," said the head of the meeting as his fat cheeks enthused with his words. 

With the experiment done by the teen student of MicroTech, this issue again became the hot topic for discussion.

"Did you investigate the identity of the student? And why did he take this step?" as is expected from the officials they would not walk or run towards the right direction where they could possibly find the culprit; instead they would suspect the wrong person. 

"He was admitted in the Academy as an orphan and is studying with the grants showered by the Academy. If possible, we can find some clue if an agent keeps an eye on his activities," an official suggested. 

Others simply nodded in approval. 

It seemed as though they were here out of frustration and wanted to return to their comfort zones as soon as possible. 

The meeting room was silent for some time while they were shuffling the useless reports prepared by their juniors. 

"What about the suspected businessman?" the senior head of the meeting placed his hand on his chubby cheeks and questioned with concern. 

The one responsible stammered, "we lack…substantial evidence, and we couldn't get a warrant from the court for his arrest but, I came to know that he was sent to jail for some other reason" he barely whispered the reply. 

"And what was that reason?" the head of the meeting asked. He could see the baffling acts of the official. He wanted to solve this matter because the higher-ups were under severe pressure by the media. 

"A week or so ago, he adopted the student who actually held the experiment in the abandoned district. He was accused of neglecting his responsibility to take care of the child," the official grabbed another report and hurriedly read out the summary of the content aloud.

The agents twitched their brows. 

Their smart brains immediately thought about the critical points just like the head of the meeting, "The same man visited the last survivor, and he was found dead the next day. He then adopted the student, can't you see there is a crucial detail which needs your urgent attention?" the head of the meeting inquired utterly displeased at the turn of events. 

"I also feel something is amiss that's why I wanted to take permission for a higher level investigation," the official immediately questioned in a professional tone. 

The businessman was an influential figure of this district. He was famous for his charity donations and many more. People respected him and supported his name, it will not be easy to investigate such a person. 

"Don't openly start your investigations. First of all, get some concrete evidence with the help of agents then we'll ask the court to issue the orders for proper search," the head of the meeting gestured towards the most skilled agent. 

"Also schedule a meeting between myself and student; I would like to ask about his background personally," the head of the meeting stood up and gave final orders. 

He was going to personally solve this case with the help of these slackers. Who knows what the results would be?

It wasn't suitable for Lui as the officials might restrict his movements until the case was solved. But before that, he has to move out of the hospital first.

"Did you visit Hyal? She must be worried and alone," Lui asked Ni Chen. 

Since he wasn't in good condition to visit her, there should be someone to take care of her. 

"I will go there with Ni Chen," Lei Mei uttered before Lippizan could say anything. 

He also wanted to go but seeing that Lei Mei was going, he won't be able to flirt with the girl or the beautiful doctors in front of Lei Mei. 

"Lippizan, you should not repeat the same mistake which I did. You should keep our project safely until completed else you will feel bad about it," Lui warned Lippizan who still showed a carefree attitude towards it. 

He could see Lippizan's eagerness as he warned him. 

"I have double security on my personal account, and there is no one who could think to hack it in any way," he replied Lui as he shrugged his shoulders. 

"You should buy the international system controlling service. They would make it impossible for anyone to hack your s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e files and also double-check your c.o.n.d.o.minium locks. We can't guarantee that our projects are safe…" Lui strictly advised. 

The various aspects of the certain topics were yet to be unfold and it was necessary to remain careful. 

Now he was behaving what his father always looked for, but now he was here in this world learning the scientific study.
