Chapter 15: The military’s request

When Colonel Rhodes arrived at Tony’s villa in his car, he found that there were many sports cars at Tony’s door.

Although Rhodes was the liaison between the military and Stark Industries, his relationship with Tony had not reached the point where he could casually say anything. He did not even have the qualifications to enter Tony’s basement.

Colonel Rhodes knew that Tony had a lot of luxury cars, and he also knew that these luxury cars were treasured by Tony.

So he walked out of the basement and headed upstairs.

When Tony had just walked out of the basement, Colonel Rhodes had already arrived.

“Tony, you’ve caused a huge disaster this time. How can you attack the air force?”

Colonel Rhodes knew that he had to take the initiative in the negotiation with Tony, otherwise, he would never get the Steel suit from Tony’s hands.

“Let the Air Force go to Stark Industries and take two of the latest stealth fighters. Is that enough?”

Tony’s words blocked Colonel Rhodes’ next words. He really couldn’t find anything to say.

He originally wanted to put this loss on Tony’s head and ask him for his armor.

But Tony said that he would pay for their loss, and he would give them two most advanced fighter jets.

Seeing Tony sitting on the sofa with a glass of wine, Colonel Rhodes braced himself and walked over.

“Tony, you know what I’m here for. I don’t want you to pay for those two fighters. As long as you can sell the steel armor you wore today to the military, then today’s incident with those two fighters can be treated as if nothing happened.”

“Rhodes, the two of us have been working together for many years. You should know about my temper.”

“It’s impossible for me to sell this set of armor to anyone. If the military plans to forcefully snatch it, then I definitely won’t be able to compromise so easily. That’s why I advise you that you should not have any crooked thoughts.”

As an arms dealer, Tony naturally understood that the military was very domineering sometimes.

If he refused them today, the military might try every means to get the steel armor from him.

Tony did not intend to show weakness. If the military dared to do so, Tony would definitely make them pay the price.

“Tony, you know that our relationship has always been good, and the Jericho missile that you just developed is going to be bought by the army. I think we can maintain such a cooperative relationship in the matter of steel armor as well.”

“Don’t think about it. I will never give you the armor. If you think you have any other way to get it, you can try it.

By the way, Potts is back, so I won’t send you off. ”

Tony had just found out from Friday that Little Pepper had returned, so he immediately asked him to leave.

Colonel Rhodes saw Little Pepper’s car parked outside, so he had to turn around and walk outside.
