Chapter 5 – Left all alone on the first day of marriage.

Miao Xingyao found a restaurant downstairs to have dinner. She wanted to make it herself, but found that there was nothing at home.

Miao Xingyao finished packing up her things and found that there was basically nothing in the house except toothbrushes, toothpaste and towels. She wondered if Yu Jingxuan had never lived in this house, and it was a disposable kind of thing, right?

“Hey, hey, hey!” Miao Xingyao took the plate of bamboo charcoal toothbrush, threw it into the shopping cart, and said, “If you’re calling to flirt before me, then I’ll hang up.”

“Don’t.” Su Hanyu punched Zhou Pulai, “It’s all this stinky man’s fault. Well he’ s gone, let’s talk.”

Miao Xingyao’s face was full of black lines. How come she still somehow ate a handful of dog food?

“So where are you now?” Su Hanyu asked.

“He said he had to go on a business trip for a while.” Miao Xingyao said.

“Business trip?” Su Hanyu blurted out, “The first day of your wedding and you’re all alone!”

“I’ll settle the bill and leave it for now.” Miao Xingyao hung up the phone. Looking at the full shopping cart, she decided to take a taxi.

When she got home, Miao Xingyao began to organize everything, finally the empty house had some human smell. Looking at the disposable toothbrush that was placed in the toilet, Miao Xingyao decided to throw it away. This kind of toothbrush is not hygienic to use too many times.

Just in case, Miao Xingyao sent a text message to Yu Jingxuan and then went to take a shower.

The more she looked at her phone, the more concerned she became.

After a while, Miao Xingyao still picked up her phone and the only messages were from the company’s WeChat group.

“It’s really a case of being alone on the first day of marriage.” Miao Xingyao sighed.

Miao Xingyao couldn’t help but think, is it really good to marry yourself off like this to someone whom you don’t even know what he does for a living? And yes, all Yu Jingxuan wanted was a red book, he didn’t care who she was. Therefore, he didn’t even have to return home.

Probably because she was tired from the day, Miao Xingyao fell asleep after lying in bed for a while.
