Chapter 11 : Two or Three Things at Home

“I’m sorry. I even asked you to help.” Bai Wanyun said to Miao Xingyao.

Miao Xingyao grinned, “This is my duty.”

“Aiya, you are really wonderful.” Bai Wanyun sighed, “To be able to marry you, Xiao Xuan was really privileged in his past life.”

“Dad, let’s eat first.” Bai Wanyun took Yu Houde’s arm and said, “Today’s dishes are all cooked by Xiao Yao, don’t you want to try her cooking?”

At the dinner table, everyone ate very quietly and it was somewhat depressing. Now Miao XingYao knew why Yu JingXuan talked so little at the dinner table.

“That, I…” Miao Xing Yao didn’t know what to say. She wasn’t sure what Yu Jingxuan was thinking at all, they were perhaps only faking their marriage…it would be impossible to have children.

“Little Xuan’s career is still on the rise. It’s normal not to want one now.” Bai Wanyun said, giving Miao Xingyao a meaningful glance, “But I still want to hold my grandchildren sooner.”

“Mom, thank you.” Miao Xingyao said to Bai Wanyun.

Bai Wanyun leaned close to Miao Xingyao’s ear and whispered, “If he is with you, Xiao Xuan might really change.”

“Mom?” Miao Xingyao did not quite understand what Bai Wanyun meant.

“Xiao Xuan, he’s all yours.” Bai Wanyun patted Miao Xingyao’s shoulder and said goodbye to the two then went back.

“Let’s go.” Yu Jingxuan naturally took the things shoved into Miao Xingyao’s hands.
