"Permanent?" Yu Qiao asked, looking down at her regrettably. Is it bad to feel annoyed that Mo Lihua is trying to change herself so much? He does not want her to be like those women online who use filters and apps to cover their real appearance in order to get the man of their dreams.

"I do not think that is a good idea... " Yu Qiao murmured softly. Don't get him wrong, he is totally cool with girls making drastic changes to their faces and bodies through derma and plastic surgery. However, it does not sit well with him if Mo Lihua wants to be involved in such things.

"But you said I am presentable... I want to be better... Look prettier... Someone that he can be proud of... Even if I just to show it to him. I will do it. I want to be the best and most perfect girlfriend for him!" Mo Lihua declared as she looked at Yu Qiao intently. "I want him to only look at me."

Yu Qiao's face turned black as he got a mental image of Mo Lihua making too much of an effort for a man that may not deserve it!

The air around the room turned colder, but Mo Lihua was too focused on her own plans, added to the fact that she was not wearing her glasses so she was completely oblivious to Yu Qiao's facial expression.

"I would start with my eyes. I want to have laser eye surgery," Mo Lihua continued to rant. "Then I will have a doctor remove the marks on my face," she added softly.

If Yu Qiao only believes in what he sees, then fine. Mo Lihua will pretend that the fake freckles and fake dark spots from pimple scars on her face are just the real ones.

Anyway, she doesn't want to explain to anyone why she needs to change her appearance to someone not "presentable" so that others will just treat her as part of the crowd. She wants to stay on a low profile, just being ignored by everyone else.

"Perfect girlfriend? Are you still drunk?" Yu Qiao asked with indifference. In spite of his dismissive tone, it seems that Mo Lihua is already sober enough to make a very serious declaration.

"I feel much better," Mo Lihua replied softly.

Yu Qiao looked at her intently, meeting her eyes that are still looking at him, trying to see him clearly. "Fine. However, that will take a lot of work... Do you even understand what you are asking?"

'What do I do to make you realize that what you want to happen is just impossible? There is no such thing as a perfect girlfriend, so just go back to wearing the glasses and remove all this fake makeup!'

Yu Qiao seethed internally. 'Do I need to show you how a man is when he already got what he wants?'

He likes her current appearance very much, but there is no way he will allow others to see her this way. Yu Qiao can only justify his actions as a being those of a very overprotective big brother to Mo Lihua.

Mo Lihua shook her head as she fought the uncomfortable feeling of being intimately close to Yu Qiao. She also realized that this is the first time that they have been this close to each other.

Initially, she wants to take advantage of it, but it also a disadvantage to her.

"Brother Qiao, you can release me now," she said. Instead of doing so, his arms that encircled her tightened even further.

Mo Lihua's cheeks blushed, especially when his other hand that was c.a.r.e.s.sing her waist almost touched her b.u.t.t. With here dress currently hiked up even shorter because of the way she is seated, Yu Qiao might end up accidentally touching her b.a.r.e skin. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

She never planned to seduce Yu Qiao. If she is ever going to do that she must prepare herself first, not rushing into it like this!

"What? This is something that you also need to get used to if you want to be the perfect girlfriend," he uttered mockingly with narrowed eyes after noticing Mo Lihua's blushing face. "Now tell me, how do you plan to be the perfect girlfriend?"
