Without eating even a single bite, Gu daren left the room.

Xie shi sat on the chair with a dazed expression. Her mind was blank and she was completely at a loss.

“Taitai? Taitai! Are you alright?” Chun He whispered anxiously.

“Help me sit on the couch.” Xie shi’s voice was trembling.

Chun He quickly helped her up and noticed that Xie shi’s arms were shivering unstoppably.

She was inwardly panicked. What happened? Why did taitai look so frightened?

She helped Xie shi lean against the couch. “Taitai, do you want to call a doctor?”

Xie shi’s face was pale. Her lips kept parting and closing. She muttered to herself, “Something happened. Something big has happened. Ah…!”

“Taitai, are you alright?”

Xie shi’s shout scared Chun He.
