Lyricist: Her Revenge

The sunlight flooded the apartment & Daniel wriggled in his sleep. Slowly, he opened his eyes & when he was about to raise his body, he felt a heavy weight upon his c.h.e.s.t. He sheepishly raised his head & looked at the peaceful face of the sleeping girl. Quickly, a smile spread across his face. More of an ear to ear grin!

Even on the face of the sleeping girl was an amused smile. It seems like having some great dreams. Daniel was curious as to what she was dreaming.

"Maybe she's dreaming about me", Daniel murmured to himself & smiled.

"Nope."

"Huh?" Is she awake?

The girl slowly opened her eyes and stretched herself. Then she sat up, cross-legged.

"You know what? I have a lifelong dream of collaborating with the BTS band."

Daniel was still recovering from the shock that she wasn't dreaming about him. Another shock electrocuted him! He sighed & Alice patted his head, "Don't worry. You aren't my dream. You're my goal."

Hearing those words, he stared at her with wide eyes. Seeing his reaction, Alice smiled & continued, "After all, I've to match you to stand beside you."

"But my greatest reason to enter the music industry is to collaborate with BTS. At least in an album, once in a lifetime."

Daniel understood the reason why her wardrobe was filled with BTS tees. He, himself, was wearing one. Even the pajama!

Daniel squinted his eyes, "Are they more handsome than me?"

"Everyone is handsome in their way", she pouted.

"Huh, then why are you wearing their tees & pajamas."

"Ah, that...because you've not printed your brand tee", she continued in a seductive whisper, "and even if you print, there'll be a single piece & that's for me."

"Ah, how possessive!"

"That's my birthright!", she yelled & pouted.

"Okay, let's have breakfast."

"Mm...Alice is grumpy because she's hungry."

Daniel was amused with her cute expression & kissed her forehead tenderly, "But first things first, go & wash. I'm preparing for breakfast."

"Aha! I'll be waiting", Alice said as she made her way to the bathroom.

Daniel smiled as he made his way to the kitchen.

15 minutes later

Alice came out first after she put on a simple frock. When she was blowing her hair, yummy smells tickled her nose. Umm....yummy! What's cooking? She tiptoed into the kitchen & saw Daniel preparing omelets & sandwiches. Her mouth watered.

Sensing her presence, he called out, "Come here."

She smiled & moved towards him. But the next moment, she was flying in the air. Woah! Daniel lifted her & put her up on the counter, "Sit."

She giggled as he served the plates. He handed her a plate & took one himself. After enjoying the breakfast in each other's company, Alice shoved Daniel for his shower. When he came out, he changed into another set of BTS tee-pajamas. He frowned. This made Alice laugh so hard that she rolled over the sofa. Daniel pouted & lifted her as soon as he approached her.

"Looks like I need to punish you!", Daniel added with a smirk. Alice was pleasantly surprised by his words. Daniel took this opportunity and kissed her hard, & as well Alice seemed to enjoy it because she hooked her arms around his neck.

"What's wrong with you, Mister? What am I paying you for? Your customization can't even handle a hacker?", Jenny had been yelling on a technical operator nonstop for an hour.

"I'm sorry Ma'am. The hacker is someone professional. It'll take time", the operator lowered his head in shame. He daren't say that it's not possible to fix it. His reply made Jenny more furious, but instead of yelling at him, she yelled at Rose, "What are you looking at? Go post what I said!"

Peach & Sofia almost shed invisible tears for her sake. Nevertheless, Rose took out her phone & typed a long post, "Sorry my dear fans, due to some kind of technical issue, someone hacked in my account & made a random post. It's fake. BLISS isn't retreating. New songs will surely be released soon. Thanks for your support."

Very soon many online comments surfaced.

"What kind of celebrity is she? Can't even handle her account?"

"Isn't that her official account? How could some random people hack into her account?"

"I guess she made the wrong decision. So she's regretting it & made up an excuse."

"I know, right? She's a very 'honest' person."

"Someone's being honest!"

...

The overall result was that no one was ready to believe her. Instead, she was being slandered even more. Moreover, she deserved it.

Jake saw the online comments & furrowed his brows. Simply put, his mood was ruined. Just ruined! He finally understood that since she couldn't come up with any lyrics & thus posted their retreat. But...but, her manager pressurized her to take back her words. And so she did! Just like that? Jake knew her to be an honest person. When did she learn to lie? Where did she learn it from? He sighed internally. How unfortunate of him!?

Alice was busy packing her luggage because she was ordered by her Dan to move into her new apartment. Suddenly, her phone rang.

"Darling, will you take it for me?", she called out to Daniel who was busy on his laptop.

"Yes", he nodded. When he saw the ID, he frowned. So, he took it to her. Alice had the same reaction. But, needless she answered it.

"Hell-e-oo", out came Sofia's playful voice.

"Mm."

"What're you up to?"

"Slacking off."

"Have you been online?"

"Nope." Yes, she'd been online & had seen Rose's recent post & her being slandered, but she didn't feel an ounce of regret. Instead, she felt satisfied.

"Okay, see ya soon!"

"Bye!"

After hanging up, she smiled as she looked at Daniel, "Looks like it's time to change my number." Daniel responded with a nod.
