Lyricist: Her Revenge

Cath paced about in the room in circles with her phone in hand. From time to time, she glanced at her phone as hesitation surged in her eyes. She had already told Alice that she would bring along someone for the movie. Thoughts circled around her mind.

Shall I call Aaron?

How will he react to my proposal?

Will he be mad at me?

What if he rejects me?

It sounds like a movie date, or rather a double date, right?

No, she can't hide from him forever, can she? With puckered lips, Cath finally pressed the call button. After a few rings, the phone call was answered.

"Hello", the voice was neither irritated nor busy, but rather that was delighted.

"Umm...can I, can I ask you out?" Her voice shook.

"Hmm? Where? When?" his voice was rather teasing.

"That...I...my first film premiered last night. Today is the second pre-screening. Will you mind accompanying me?"

On the other end, a delicious smile spread across his face. Ah! My wife asked me out for a movie date!

"Hmm, okay. I don't have any problem."

"Thanks. I called Alice & her boyfriend, too. Do you mind that?"

Aaron's eyes darkened with the thought. What was supposed to be a romantic movie date for the two of them? How did it end up as a double date?

"Of course, I mind", Aaron spoke his mind out, "I was looking forward t spend the evening with you."

"Uh!" Cath was dumbstruck.

"Tell them that you canceled the outing, please?" Aaron pleaded over the phone.

Cath was silent & it worried Aaron. After a while, she finally spoke, "Okay!"

Aaron smiled & hung up.

Cath sighed & texted Alice, 'Sorry, I can't go today. I want to spend the evening, you know, with mu someone special.'

'Who is this someone special?'

'Someday, you can meet him. I won't tell you now.'

'Okay, see this', Alice sent a link.

Cath clicked on it with curiosity, especially when she noticed it was from the agency's official website.

Zach's Villa

Lily woke up clutching her head & closed eyes. When she shuffled in the bed, Zach's face & n.a.k.e.d torso came as a huge shock to her. She jumped with the duvet tightly clutched against her c.h.e.s.t, "What are you doing in my room?"

Zach had a grim expression as he sat up too, "I will ask you the same question. What are you doing here in my bed, in my room?"

Lily gauged her surroundings, & gawked at him before ducked her head inside the duvet. The moment she ducked in, she pulled it out & let out a scream, "Ah! Zach Schultz, what did you do?"

He snorted with ridicule, "Let me ask you the same. What did you do?"

"I don't know", Lily bit her lips nervously, "I don't remember anything after I got drunk."

Zach looked at her with a complicated face. Seeing that he didn't reply, she said, "Well, this is your house. You brought me here. I know nothing!"
