Lumina Church: From An Assassin To A Nun

Fiore Flud Florvenyx, One of the twelve Guild Leader and also one who oversee the Adventure Guild in Calmarosh Theocracy. Not much is known about her other than the fact that she's a Guild Leader and a maid loving maniac who always got crazy when she saw or talk about a maid.

Villia's also curious about her past before and takes a peek of it, even so, she always comes to regret her decision as she can't help to sympathize and let her act as a maid every time they meet after knowing her past.

"Enmi~ have you decide to join and gain permanent membership on my humble Guild now?"

"Don't be ridiculous. Give me a quest."

"C'mon~ We can talk for old time sake before we talk about boring stuff right?"

"Don't waste my time. Give me a quest."

"Don't you want to spend your time with this big sister here o-"

"Guild Leader Fiore. give me a quest, or I'll go."

Villia glares at Fiore with seriousness and irritation and Fiore who saw her expression also sigh and change turned serious, before she took out a parchment and put it on top of the table.

"We've caught a group of kidnappers that become quite famous in the town yesterday. The Shadow Fish is their group name and this…" Fiore put a picture on the table and point his face "… is their leader, Galvrance."

Villia takes a look at the picture of Galvrance glaring out of the picture with a tint of madness in his eyes. The fact that he's glaring at the one who took his picture with the utility magic Image means that they already capture him, then why…?

"What about him?"

"There's more …"

Fiore took other pictures and put them all on the table. On all other pictures were shown the picture of a man who is screaming, attacking, and other activities that can only be said to be an action took by a wild beast, but, most of all…

"Red eyes and pale skin…"

"As you can see, every member of Shadow Fishes has long lost their sanity, and the only one with bit sanity left is their boss, Galvrance. Galvrance confess he didn't know what happened, he's just an ordinary farmer before, but a few days ago, he turned into the leader of Shadow Fishes and started to kidnap people. He didn't know how but he feels he have controls over the other members of Shadow Fishes, while someone else has control over him, although he can talk calmly with us, his body would always try to resist, and it's also why we chained him up."

"What about all of those people that got kidnapped by him?"

"He says that he always put all of them at random places. As for their whereabouts now, no one knows about it, we have already searched for their presence at every place he mentions of, and so far, we got nothing."

"So…you want me to find all of the kidnapped people, save them while killing the mastermind behind all of this incident?"

"Um, that's about right."

Coin, it's the currencies issued by adventurer guild, and currently, it's the most used currencies in this world. Divided to Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum coin; 1 platinum coin is 100 gold coin, 1 gold coin is 100 silver coin, 1 silver coin is 100 copper, and 1000000 copper coin is 1 platinum coin .

For these 4 years, Villia has saved a total of 416 platinum coins. An amount of money that can even make a noble feel envy as her wealth has surpassed that of weak noble, even so, these amounts of money isn't enough yet. No … it's not even close to enough!

At first, collecting all of this money is so she can build a proper church after she and Father Lichenmi has chosen a place to settle down. The amount she receives can be said enough for that goal. But!

Her goal is different right now…what she needs to build isn't just a mere church anymore…it's history! And the amount she would need to achieve that goal would be an astronomical amount!

Variesz city, Plague Prison.

It's a place that once builds by a noble to torture someone and vents his stress, but it has long changed into a prison ever since Calmarosh change from Aristocracy to Theocracy. Although noble still exist in this Calmarosh Theocracy, most of them are only nobles in name and didn't even have full control of their own fief.

Right now, Plague prison serve as a place to detain high-level prisoners, and Galvrance is also one of the prisoners who got locked in this cold and dark prison. Galvrance is shivering and chained as of now, while his supposed subordinates are still howling like mad beasts.

He's scared. For him who's only an ordinary farmer previously, what happening for the last few days have made him almost crazy like the other prisoners. He wants to get out! He wants to meet his family again! Yet, he can't do that anymore, because he, more than anyone know of the sins he commits.

Although it's all because his body got controlled, he can't ignore the fact that he has committed great sins for the last few days. His body moves on its own, grabbing those man or woman hairs and even beat them mercilessly if they resist, he, Galvrance has indeed committed a great sin that even his God Imalios will frown of.

Galvrance feels envy of his subordinates, going crazy all around without feeling even a tint of guilt after all they have done. Ignorance is truly a bliss…and they who have lost not only their ignorance but even their sanity is enviable, as losing their own sanity would mean losing their own conscience, if they're not enviable, then what is?

If he's asked what he wished for before his soon-to-be death execution, then he will wish for them not to touch his wife and son that didn't commit any wrongs. This mistake is his alone to bear. It's all his fault…it's all…all of it…is…all...

"My fault…"

Waters dripping from the ceiling, meet with the waters on the ground, created a melody through this prison. Galvrance keeps muttering over and over, and over again…

All of the other mindless prisoners can hear a distant sound of footsteps, yet he didn't seem to listen to it as he continues to mutter to keep his last ditch of sanity inside.

The mindless prisoners become more and more frenzied as the people get closer and bang their own cells without minding their body that's already broken because of their action and keep pounding as hard as they can..

"Be quiet!" A warden with round belly shouts at these mindless prisoners, even so, none of them heeds his warning as they continue to attack their own cells. The warden wipes his face with a handkerchief, immediately apologize to the woman who stands beside him "I'm sorry for their rudeness Miss Enmi, although it's rude for our God, the only things left of them are mindless beasts like that of a demi-human, and they can't even call themselves a human anymore."

"No worries, I know about the situation already. How about you take a break and let me handle the rest?"

"No no no, how can I left Miss Enmi alone with these mindless beasts? Let me accompany you until you finished your business here."

Villia smile kindly to the warden, even so, the warden that have gone to war can feel bloodl.u.s.t emitted from that kind smile. It's a smile that let him know something terrible will happen to him if he didn't comply with her request!

"Aaaa, I just remember that I haven't got a good rest lately…I'll leave you here then and please call me after you have finished your business here."

"Thank you, warden."

The warden waves his hands at her and leaves the area, leaving Villia and Shadow Fishes prisoners alone at this prison section.

Villia wait until the warden is gone before she goes to one of the prisoner cells and observes the member of Shadow Fishes one by one.

"Zombified…"

Villia looks and sighs after she learns that they didn't have a chance to be saved anymore. Zombified, it's a process of finished Zombification — a state where the lines connecting the body and the soul got erased by the zombie toxin.

Villia inspects all of them one by one, and after she notices an interesting thing, she keeps investigating them again until her inner curiosity sated, before resolutely throw throwing daggers on each of their head and start to chant a spell in a high speed.

"Purification!"

Light comes and envelops their souls while darkness envelops their body to ensure that the residue of zombification didn't harm them even in their next life. Although doing this kind of thing is risky, earning some experience point for her nun class is a must!

After she clear all of those mindless ones, she turned to Galvrance who has long stop muttering and witness the purification that put all of the stranger he known as his subordinates to rest. Envy appears on Galvrance heart again when he saw they have safely ascended to heaven. How he longs to die ever since he got controlled, yet he also didn't want to die and left his wife and son alone!

Villia turn and looks at Galvrance with interest, but didn't show it on her face and said…

"Congratulation, you've turned into a True Zombie."
