The entire audience gasps in surprise as soon as the auctioneer uttered the word Vampire. Vampire should not dare to go out from the Shadow Isle after the incident 200 years ago, yet the slave traders in Calmarosh Theocracy has caught one this year!?

Although vampire has occasionally got sighted in the past 200 years, they're all in the end just a baseless rumor because there's neither proof nor victim which indicates they really appeared.

It's about vampires' main food, which isn't blood like many have guessed, but sins. Which is also why people understanding of vampire change to, s.u.c.k.i.n.g blood in the morning, s.u.c.k.i.n.g sin in the night.

Vampire is creatures that suck sin from human, and the more the sins they suck, the more the human lost his d.e.s.i.r.e, and that's the moment they turn into tranquil and converted into blood slaves.

That's also the reason why a vampire wouldn't leave for the mainland, mainly because they're happily living their life on the Shadow Isle and didn't want to turn into human slaves like the other vampire.

And now, a vampire has appeared yet again, and it's a young one at that! Why did he go out from Shadow Isle is a mystery, but he's indeed here, in front of them.

"We've luckily caught this one as soon as we get the rumor of a vampire that's leaving Death Isle spread. Every Slave Traders that exist in this continent compete for this kid, but us, the Holy Slavers, has beat every one of those slave traders, and present this one in front of you!!!"

One of the guests scream with vigor as soon as the slave is confirmed to be a vampire by the auctioneer and instantly make a bid and result in the other guest bidding their own prices even before the auctioneer declare the prices.

A loud explosion happened on the stage, and all of the guests who make their own bid even before the auctioneer says a word shut their mouth off and turned to look at the hole that has appeared on the stages.

"I'm happy for your eagerness, but the vampire will be sold with base prices of 60 platinum coins…lower than that and we will keep this slave back at the storage." The auctioneer sternly states then turn towards all the other guests and asks.

"Who brought that kind of money to this auction!"

"Isn't it too expensive!? I remember vampire prices 200 years ago are about 20 platinum coins!"

"Guests…" The auctioneer friendly face turned into fierce as he looks at all the guests that complained, but soon an amiable expression return to his face as he said "I don't care how much it is in the past, but we do use a lot of resources that cost a lot of money just to catch and care for this vampire…I don't care if you have the money or not, but if you didn't have it, I hope you didn't shoot your mouth off and let the other guests who have money to bid, any question?"

"I bid 60 platinum coins for the vampire…"

All of the guests becomes quiet as soon as the auctioneer says his words, but not long after that, a girl voice resounds through the auction and immediately perceived by the auctioneer as he declares.

All of the guests turn toward the noblewoman and her servant again as they incredulously look at her calmly sipping her tea like she always does and looks at the auctioneer that has turned back into a good auctioneer again.

"60 platinum coins by the young lady in seat number 44! Is there anyone else who wants to bid for the vampires?"

60 platinum coins! Some of them may even bankrupt if they cough up that kind of money, while some other need to work for about a decade to earn it again! Yet she didn't show any emotion and keep sipping her damned tea! Is there justice in this world!?

A masked lady bid 75 platinum coins with heavy heart, and glare at the noblewoman who's still relaxing as if nothing bothers her. The masked lady is sure that the woman didn't have any more money and all of that is just a bluff! Although it's expensive, the vampire will worth it as long as he can bring money in.

In her mind, she has felt that she had won and soon she will open a bloodletting course with her vampire and rake all of that lose money in an instant. Yet while she imagines that stuff, the noblewoman has raised her hands and without paying attention to her nor the stages, but to her tea alone, she declares.

The auctioneer who heard her works smiled once again, and declare for all to heat.

"80 platinum coins from the noblewoman in seat number 44 again! Anyone else who wants to bid more than that?"

The masked lady looked in shock and looks at all the money inside her pocket. All she takes from her home is 100 platinum coins, and she has spent 11 platinum coins treating all of her friends a meal at Soaring Phoenix Restaurant and buy them clothes! She has plans to buy other beauty product and get beauty treatment after this auction with her friends, yet the appearance of this vampire mess her plans up!

Roy smile at the masked lady which heart have goes aflutter from his words and without hesitation shout the prices while Roy smiles in her back while imagining the amount of money he will get after this dumb lady in front of him bought the slaves! No…even if she didn't buy this, he would still get 0.5 % shares so, whether she bought it or not, it's a win-win situation for him!

The masked lady looks at the noblewoman happily sipping her tea with hatred after she heard her words. She didn't have any more money…all of it is gone, and it seems like no other guest bought a lot of money like her as the usual auction will be finished with maximal 30 platinum coins.

Too many money will only attract a thief to you, that's why they will not bring a lot of money just to buy slaves.

None of the guest talk as the auctioneer continued.

And as expected...
