Loving A Triple Threat

Chapter 27 - Suzie!

Gi stretched on the barre, she had worked extremely hard on her flexibility all year and she was now back to her best. Her left leg was stretched to its limit, as she bounced softly in a full split position. Her arc was just past 180° which is where she wanted it.

"Ms Ling showed me a video with you in it earlier today," Ms Moon said standing behind Gi.

"Not you too Ms Moon," Gi sighed, "I get enough annoying messages on my phone, and from other students. Please, please teachers be ignorant of the internet."

"If you can't handle it Gi, you should forget your dreams of becoming an idol, and give up now. All this hard work will be for nothing," Ms Moon said harshly while sweeping her hand in a gesture indicating the studio where Gi practised daily.

Gi grimaced, she could and would handle it, "Very well, Ms Moon, what did you see?"

"I watched the infamous Zero dance, and Ms Ling asked me who it was," Ms Moon said. "And Gi, I couldn't guess it was you until she told me ... Only then I was able to discern it was you."

Gi started to do her other leg while wondering where this was going.

"I also noticed, if it wasn't for your luck and comedy, you would have been voted out much earlier," Ms Moon stated savagely.

Gi could not think of a response that was not disrespectful.

Gi speculated on why Ms Moon was so mean, and if she ever needed to be mean, she would just need to think of what Ms Moon would say.

"I want you to practice the boy styles all next term. Hip-hop, urban, break dancing and street dance. I want you to master the way boys do hip-hop, and at least become competent in the others," Ms Moon said.

"Ms Moon! I will fall behind!" Gi exclaimed.

"Gi, extending your range improves all your dancing, I promise," Ms Moon advised.

She wondered if Ms Moon had bipolar. She was either incredibly mean or helpful. Gi had trained in ballet and modern primarily, and she liked to think that she was at least adept, if not approaching master. She learned many complementary styles, including but not limited to; hip-hop, gymnastics and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

"Girls," Ms Moon announced as practice came to an end, "Ms Ling had an emergency and went home. So, you can go study in the Library, or go home if you had acting and singing with her. Otherwise, get to your next class."

Suzie ran up to Gi while pulling Misha behind, and whispered, "Let's go to a café."

Gi looked down without making eye contact and was about to say she couldn't go.

"Oh Gi, my shout," Misha said noticing her new friend's dilemma.

"No, Misha you don't have to," Gi said shaking her head.

"Gi, you helped me! If you didn't get that security guard, I wouldn't have been able to go. I owe you one," Misha said kindly.

Suzie leaned into Misha stirring both her rivals, "And, she probably prefers that we didn't go now."

"No, I'm over it. Let's go to the café it will be fun," Gi agreed with Suzie for once.

It wasn't long before the trio were changed and seated at a café in the shopping district. It was a fancier one that Misha picked out since she was paying for two people.

Suzie was looking at her phone, Misha was also reading hers, while Gi just leaned back enjoying the atmosphere.

"Where's your phone?" Suzie asked.

"Oh, I turned it off, it's annoying," Gi replied.

"Is that safe?" Misha asked with a high voice.

Gi shrugged.

"It can't be that annoying," Suzie stated confidently.

Gi sighed, got her phone out and turned it on. She opened the notification window and turned the phone around to face Suzie.

The notifications were scrolling so fast Suzie couldn't read them. "Oh my gawd," she said dramatically.

"Turn off notifications," Misha said, holding out her hand as an offering to do it for Gi if she didn't know how.

"It's not just that," Gi said sadly.

She opened up her Instagram account and placed her phone on the table.

Her rivals read the comments.

"Oh," Suzie said, even she felt sorry for Gi.

"They're from everywhere, Chile? Where's Chile?" Misha asked.

"South America," Gi replied.

"It'll die down," Misha said.

"I might have to delete all my accounts," Gi said.

"Hand it here," Misha asked, and she proceeded to uninstall all the social media apps. "Do you use whatsapp and wechat?"

"No," Gi replied.

"Get wechat and use it," Misha advised and when Gi nodded Misha downloaded the app and set it up for her.

"Enough about me," Gi said taking a deep breath. "What's happening with Seok and Hyuk."

Suzie shrugged, "It was just a weekend thing. I told him this."

Gi was amazed at how Suzie could do the deed and drop a boy on the same weekend. Her face must have betrayed her thoughts.

"What?" Suzie said in protest.

"How was he?" Misha asked shyly.

"He was very good, for a first timer," Suzie openly said.

"It was his first time, and you dumped him!" Gi was now outraged on Hyuk's behalf.

"Yeah, you must admit that's pretty low, even for you," Misha savagely observed.

Now, Suzie was offended, "I invited you two to the café for a nice drink. Not to be attacked!"

"Okay, okay, Suzie," Gi said in a conciliatory fashion, "We aren't attacking you, we just feel sorry for the boy is all. If it was my first time and I was dumped. I'd be devasted."

"He's a boy, it's different," Suzie said disparagingly. "What about you Misha?" She asked with genuine interest.

"Well," Misha hesitated, "Seok is nice. He's smart and interesting but …"

"But you want a man?" Suzie grinned mischievously.

"No…" Misha said shyly. "It's…"

Suzie was enjoying herself, "You want a tall, rugged, man to grab you, pull down your p.a.n.t.i.e.s, and f.u.c.k you stupid. Don't you. Admit it." She began to laugh at the horrified looks on their faces.

"Suzie!" Misha and Gi exclaimed at the same time. It just made her laugh even louder.

"We're delicate Suzie," Gi explained. It was the most tactful way she could think of, to ask her to tone it down.

Their drinks arrived. They sipped and ignored each other for a time while looking at their phones. Gi was trying to work out how to use wechat.

"What about Ren?" Misha asked breaking the silence.

Gi rolled her eyes.

"He sent me all these texts apologizing after everything blew up on youtube. And, he failed to mention the woman he kissed!"

"He probably doesn't realise we saw him," Suzie speculated.

"Yeah, I'm not buying it," Gi replied.

"And Officer Ruek?" Suzie asked.

"You were in the car," Gi replied tersely.

"Oh, I thought the ice coldness was a cover that he f.u.c.k.e.d your brains out, and you didn't want us to know," Suzie replied.

"Suzie!" they both exclaimed for the second time in a few minutes.

"Sorry," Suzie said but she didn't sound sorry. Then she added with a wry grin, "Misha?"

"Hmm," Misha replied while looking at a text on her phone.

"Jae-Sun is tall, handsome and free from what I hear if you want…"

"Suzie!"
