While they were eating, the teenager was being very cautious and only took a little every time he picked up the food with his chopstick. It was not until Wei Jing finished and placed his chopsticks down on the table that the teenager asked doubtfully, “You’re done eating?”

Wei Jing smiled and replied, “En. If you don’t mind, could you finish the remaining food? Wasting food is a shameful act.”

Wei Zhe casually changed the channel with the TV remote control and replied, “Wei Min already got transferred.”

“Where did he transfer to?”

“I don’t know.”

Wei Jing felt a mix of complex feelings. Logically, Wei Min was still a child, so even if he did do the wrong thing, Wei Jing should be the bigger person and forgive him. But...he really couldn’t do it! Wei Min didn’t just talk behind his back, or simply diss him and hate him because of a child’s uncontrolled temper.

It was...wanting to spirit him away to an impoverished village.

As to his life after the trafficking, he wouldn’t know, but it wouldn’t be too good.

Even though Wei Min was still a child, this was way too cruel.

“Stop thinking.” Wei Zhe already knew what Wei Jing was hesitating about just by looking at his furrowed face that turned into a ball. He pulled his silly young brother into his embrace. The teenager’s sturdy chest was against the child’s warm back. “Don’t you want to draw? I’ll accompany you to the Xu household on the weekend.”

“Really? Big Brother is free on that day?” Wei Jing’s attention suddenly shifted, and answered excitedly.

“I always have time for you.”

Why did Wei Jing feel shameful about those words? His body temperature suddenly peaked. His big brother’s...unwittingly provocative words...really made one unable to resist! How nice. Big brother only belonged to him at this moment. Even if he married, it would be a long time from now.

Wei Min was sent out of the Wei residence, but he refused to return to his hometown with his grandpa.

The fact that his uncle used him as part of a plan made Wei Min terrified. If kin couldn’t even be trusted, then....who else could he trust?

He chose to live outside alone.

The house was Wei He’s. It was a school district house that was close to the school. He only needed to walk five minutes to get to school. He also had two maids at home to take care of him. Wei Min’s room was huge and in the silent night, Wei Min stared at the ceiling foolishly, not knowing what to do.

No father, mother, grandpa, uncle, aunt, older cousin, not even Wei Zhe or Wei Jing, the people he disliked. Emptiness and loneliness filled the room.

Unconsciously, Wei Min cried out loud.

They were soft and repressed sobs at first, then it bursted into violent wails.

Nothing would happen even if he shattered everything because no one would ever care for him anymore. He… was abandoned.

He and his mom both committed wrongdoings and got the punishment they deserved.
