But Wei Jing did get slightly slimmer over this period of time. This gave his already slender frame an even more delicate look. Coupled with his large, watery eyes, a trim, straight nose, those slightly pursed, blush-pink lips, and the oft gloomy expression on his face – he now had the complete look of a melancholic little prince.

“No” When Wei Jing wanted to be stubborn, not even ten cows could turn him around*. He gave the pillow a slap and pushed his little body up from the bed deftly. “I think… I-I should go home .” (*Translator Note: the Chinese character for stubborn here is a composite of “strong” and “cow”, which relates to the saying following of how ten cows can’t pull back the stubborn “strong cow”)

Wei Zhe was so frustrated by him that he gave an angry laugh. “So you think your butt doesn’t hurt enough yet, right?”

Wei Jing carefully shrank back, then said aggrievedly, “….You can’t be so domineering.”

Yo! This kid knows this word at his age? Wei Zhe raised an eyebrow, his ink-black eyes spinning around before landing on his own waist. The young man then lifted up his shirt, revealing the freshly-healed, still tender scar bulging out from his skin, and said, “You got me hurt this badly, and now you want to leave just like that?”

“I… I don’t mean that.” To have big brother say something like that, Wei Jing felt a little… sad. He chewed on his bottom lip lightly, rubbed his soft little hands together in thought, then said, “….It was because of me, that big brother got into a car accident. If I leave, everything will be better for big brother.”

Wei Zhe… Wei Zhe really didn’t understand the child’s logic now.

Is an accident something he can control?

But it’s okay, as long as he can coax him to come back, everything will be fine. Next moment the young man’s face turned cold, his gaze dark and gloomy; a sinister air surrounded him. “Tsk! If you do something wrong, you should be punished. I’m injured, so for now, you are responsible for taking care of me.”

“But aren’t you completely healed big brother?” Wei Jing asked, looking up in confusion.

“Haha!” Wei Zhe laughed coldly, “Isn’t this a scar?”

   Wei Jing: =-=
This scar? How could it get any better?

Even though scar removal technology was already quite advanced in this posterior time, it was primarily used on smaller scars. For someone like Wei Zhe who had an operation and was left with a much larger scar, there wasn’t much that could be done. The most would be to lighten the color of the scar and make it less noticeable.

“Also…” Wei Zhe thought a bit, then added, “I had someone check out of the house you’d rented outside for you. If anyone dares guarantee the lease for you again, I’ll sue them for child kidnapping.”

His head lowered, Wei Jing rubbed his reddened eyes, then complained dishonestly, “Bossy.”

In his previous life, Wei Jing was raised very well. In his day to day life, if he wasn’t at school he would be drawing, or playing video games. Occasionally he’d play a little piano, or arrange some pretty flowers… At the very most he’d cut himself an apple, but for everything else… don’t they have maids for that?

As a result, when he started living by himself, he realized his core was that of an adult alright, but he never learned any of the skills essential to adult life!

   Cook rice?
How do you even do that? How much rice do you add? What about water? How long do you cook it for?

Stir fry, alright! As long as they’re green, Wei Jing can’t tell the difference between vegetables – to count on someone like him to cook for himself? He spent a considerable amount of time just figuring out how to turn on the stove. It’s really a miracle he didn’t die from gas poisoning.

As for sweeping, mopping the floors, washing clothes, dishes…. and all kinds of chores here and there, they still confuse Wei Jing.

At the end… he successfully acquired the skill of either ordering takeout or making ramen. As for everything else? What’s the use for sweeping the floor? It was just him living alone anyways, if it got dirty so be it. Taking the trash out? If he remembered he’d take it out, if he forgot then nothing could be done…

It was such a delicately raised little prince like himself that turned his own life into a big rough mess.

The most important thing however was the loneliness.

Before, he was always together with big brother so he had never felt it. Now that he was living alone, he didn’t even have someone to talk to. Spending day after day in that tiny little house was enough to drive a person crazy.

And so… the fact that big brother came to visit him-

   He was so happy!

Although he was contradicting his own original intentions, being alone was simply too much to bear. He can’t go on like that anymore, what should he do?
