The chat box was brought to a complete stall for nearly five seconds thanks to the sudden actions of Young Master Ji. After this brief pause, everyone came back to life and began bubbling up one after another.

The rich second generations rushed to ask if this new user was the real deal, thinking to themselves that there was no way the real person would pull off something like this. After all, Young Master Jing and Young Master Yan were still online. This game had implemented a friendship level bar, which meant creating relationships with other players will a useful bonus in the future. If Young Master Ji was sending flowers to anyone, it should be to these two ah!

Could it be that this random ‘Li’ noticed them constantly rambling about a “Ji-shao” so they decided to create a fake account as a prank?

En, they will definitely be revealed by Young Master Jing and Young Master Yan in a matter of seconds!

As this thought flashed through everyone’s mind, they saw two messages pop up one after another.

Ji Shao: I am the real one.

Jing Shao: I can testify, this is A-Yan.

The second generations thought: Oh…that Li had gifted Young Master Yan a flower last night, and yet Young Master Yan admitted to not knowing this person. Like hell he doesn’t know who this is! They must know each other, take a look for yourself, this group of guys are already sending each other flowers to boost their in-game friendship value!

These brain-dead fans only had a handful of braincells to share amongst each other, going insane with just the thought of this scheme. They all expressed their desire to send out flowers to these celebrities.

But it’s such a pity that the roses grown in this this little broken mobile game cannot be transferred, let alone bought with real money. Ji Shaoyan only recieved one rose from the chest, and now it had been used up. After the brain-dead fans read his public statement, they collectively thought to themselves that this Li must’ve said something to flatter the young master, which was the only reason why their male god sent such a precious prop. As expected, Young Master Ji had such a virtuous heart!

Zhou Li didn’t need to guess to know that he had brought another wave of hatred onto himself.

After a short period of being stunned into silence, he quickly returned to his senses and generously came out into the public chat room.

Li: Thank you ah. I’ve been in a bad mood today, suddenly receiving a flower from you made me feel much better.

A smile formed on Ji Shaoyan’s face without him knowing, with the corners of his mouth rising into a soft curve before deflating downwards again.

It’s always like this. This idiot was always like this.

After getting beaten up by his dear father, he was able to get up and turn his head to sing to a little ball of husky without any delay; after getting his head bashed in by those bastards, left on the streets as a public exhibit, then picked up by netizens that dug into his personal life and exposed him as a little gangster in a little town, he can still play a stupid game, acting as if nothing was wrong. Although this sustained cheerful personality was admirable, it only made people feel distressed.

Besides, he wasn’t some kind of knight in shining armour.

The husky he desperately risked everything to save still returned to the clutches of its owner, the second master and his underlings that he actively went against and offended during the entire dog-hunting affair will definitely come back to take revenge, and the man surnamed Lin, who Ji Shaoyan didn’t even know was in a dead or alive state, will pose to be an even greater and troublesome threat if he somehow made it through the bite alive. It was impossible for the silly fool to not worry about all the consequences.

But even if this were the case, who can he turn to?

Qian Duoshu? Not being kicked around after everything that had transpired was already the best it can get.

Those little brothers? A group of mentally handicapped people, one more unreliable than the other.

Song Yingshi? Heh… Judging by how she has reacted to everything the silly fool has unloaded on her in the past few weeks*, the boy will most likely have to comfort her after these new upsetting additions.

[T/N: I added this sentence for context]

Because of the hot search, his stupid little brother must suppress this entire matter. It was impossible for the second master and his associates to bother Zhou Li while he is under the eyes of Second Young Master Ji. However, this matter will be forced to a silence before long and when the heat of the hot search has been extinguished, the second master will come to settle the accounts sooner or later.

Trapped in such an unescapable situation, what could he be thinking about now?

Ji Shaoyan looked at this familiar name and replied: No need for thanks. Are you one of Mingying’s?

Zhou Li typed: Why don’t you guess.

The brain-dead fans couldn’t bear to witness this scene for any longer and hurriedly blew their bubbles up in the chatroom, proclaiming that he belonged to Liuxi Second High, with the not-quite low-key implication that they were Mingying’s students in the hopes that their male god will look at them. However, no one could understand what was going on in Ji Shaoyan’s head today. He seemed to be very interested in this stranger, going so far as to send more messages.

Ji Shao: Are there any fun places in Liuxi District?

Li: Nowhere fun, only a few farmhouses for picking vegetables or to fish.

Ji Shao: From what I’ve heard, is there still a tradition of the public holding markets in the suburbs?

Li: En.

Ji Shao: I’ve never been to one before, I’m a little interested.

Zhou Li could understand the hidden meaning at a glance.

Ji Shaoyan had inherited his love and care and now wished to help him with his current predicament. He happily replied: Then come over, I will be your tour guide.

Everyone was no longer not-so-calm.

While the brain-dead fangirls clamoured over each other, all proclaiming their wishes to follow along, Zheng San was on the verge of a rage-induced explosion.

Zheng San: Ca, why aren’t you saying ‘not meeting each other is better than meeting in reality’ this time?

Li: Because he is the first person to gift me a flower.

Zheng San: But I said I would invite you to a meal!

Li: And am I lacking that one meal? Besides, are you sincerely inviting me from the bottom of your heart?

Zheng San immediately wanted to ask “are you missing that one flower?”, but after thinking about it, he could only choke back on his words after realising that the other party was indeed missing this one flower.

Tour guide Zhou temporarily opened a tour and told them to line up in a decent manner. He hadn’t decided on a set time to play around so instead he chatted with them for a while before turning around to play the game honestly, handing the home court to Ji Shaoyan.

To be perfectly honest, Ji Shaoyan was unwilling to hold a conversation with anyone, so he simply replied with a few words. He took a glance at the time and found that it was already past ten o’clock, so he flipped over to WeChat and sent a message to Yan Yunhui, telling him to go offline and sleep on time.

Yan Yunhui didn’t know about his motives so when he saw the message of suggestion, he logged out without question.

Five minutes later, Zhou Li felt that he had played around enough for the day. He had a headache and felt a little nauseous looking at the bright phone’s screen, so he left his farewells and wished everyone a goodnight.

No one paid any attention to him. Only when Ji Shaoyan replied with a gentle goodnight did the little fans chorus a goodbye in response.

Ji Shaoyan stared at the chat box, wondering if Silly Fool would still send out flowers before he goes offline today.

Zhou Li did indeed bloom another flower today.

He gifted one to Yan Yunhui yesterday and today he planned to gift one to Zhou Er. Because he couldn’t get himself out of the current situation alone, and although Ji Shaoyan was willing to help, he guessed that this young master would still have to recuperate in the hospital for some time, so now he had to find a way to fit the wealthy and powerful family into his plans.

Thus, everyone saw the new announcement that the system put out.

The person with the highest hatred value pinned on his head in the entire server gifted a flower to Zhou Er.

Ji Shaoyan: “……”

Do you know what reciprocity means?

The recipient of the flower, Zhou Er, was understandably surprised and returned with a response soon after.

Zhou Er: Thank you.

Li: No need. I like your name. Everyone should make friends.

Zhou Er: [Smile]

Zhou Li also replied with a smiling emoticon before logging off to sleep.

Ji Shaoyan stared at the chat box for a few more seconds and after he silently endured this act from the other boy, he followed him offline. He delayed sleeping for a while more and instead pulled up a number from his contacts, pressing the dial button.

The other side quickly picked up with an apparent tone of surprise in their voice. “Wei, Ji-shao?”

Ji Shaoyan smiled and said, “En, it’s me.”

The other side asked, “I previously heard you were in a car accident, is there anything wrong ba?”

Ji Shaoyan answered, “Nothing’s wrong, but there’s something I want you to help me with.”

The other side seemed to be happy with this request. “Sure, what is it?”

Ji Shaoyan said, “That hot search before, you know about it, right?”

The person on the other side of the phone was from the Municipal Bureau. With a small background but an exquisite personality, these traits mixed very well.

They had met by chance in the past, then met twice in succession afterwards. Both of them felt that the the other was worth developing a connection with and so they went on to share a meal. With today’s matters blowing up to such a large scale, this guy must’ve known about it.

As expected, the other side replied, “I know ah, but it’s nothing big. No one’s dead and the people involved have already reconciled privately.”

Ji Shaoyan’s hand that held the phone lightly trembled and he chuckled, “Oh, no one’s dead ah.”

For some unknown reason, the person on the other side of the call felt his back grow cold. He said, “Must’ve been blessed by Lady Luck. I heard that the main injury missed any vital veins and he was rescued in time.”

Once he said this, he continued to elaborate on what happened.

For the person bitten by the husky, Ji Tianyang, as the owner of the dog, took full responsibility and paid for all medical expenses. As for the child, while the picture taken and posted online appeared tragic, the person who swung the weapon down on the teenager seemed to be experienced and so the kid was only knocked out by the bat. He woke up shortly after being sent to the hospital for stitches and fell asleep for a while longer before heading back with his parent once the IV drip bag was emptied. Ji Tianyang had also paid for his medical expenses and even threw in some more as compensation. The kid’s parent decided not to take the incident too far when it came to legal matters so there was no need to file a case.

Ji Shaoyan asked, “What about the group who attacked him, have they done background checks?”

The man replied, “That, I don’t know.”

Ji Shaoyan exchanged what he knew with the other man and sighed softly. “That Didi of mine is always the cause of our worries, making friends with such a messy group of people. Right now, he’s in his rebellious period, so even if I try to persuade him, he’ll definitely turn the other way. I wanted to look for some other opportunities from another angle.”

The man understood. This young master wanted to punish this group of gangsters.

He said, “It’ll be a bit difficult.”

Even for a big boss located in such a small area, he still had some understanding of the inside circle.

The eradication of gangsters; this operation had been carried out for quite some time, even until now. All that was left were the few calculative snakes. They have done a very thorough and clean sweep, with many of the gangsters shifting over to own genuine businesses. Not one of them would dare to beat people to death. Beating someone out in the open streets like what happened earlier today was something very out of the ordinary.

So on the surface, they can’t pick out any problems other than the fact that this peculiar circumstance was an outlier. But generally, with these unpredicted events there will be scapegoats, and they won’t be able to unearth any solid evidence unless they spend their efforts to investigate thoroughly. However, he didn’t have the power to do such things.

Ji Shaoyan had already guessed this outcome earlier on.

Not to mention the guy on the other end of the call, even he isn’t able to dispose of these guys right now because arrangements, discussions, and implementation, all these will take time, especially when it came to the last step. In the unlikely event that complicated interpersonal relationships are involved, everything he had slowly built up to will ultimately result in nothing.

But he couldn’t wait that long, so he added, “How about this, you follow my instructions. Dig up the backgrounds of that Er Ye and Lin Ye and take a good look for yourself, then send the files to me tomorrow morning.”

The other side replied, “Sure, simple enough.”

“There’s something else I need your help with. Are you familiar with the online overviewing squad?” Ji Shaoyan sighed, “I think that child is pitiful. After all, he was shown to the outside from the results of my Didi’s sin. See if you can help the child out.”

The man on the other end heard his elegant phrasing and remarked to himself how good of an older brother this young master was. He promised that he’ll talk to a friend about this before cutting off their call.

Ji Shaoyan slept through the night and received the files he asked for the following morning.

Later on, when he pushed his wheelchair into the living room in time for breakfast, he inadvertently mentioned the events that occurred the day before.

Grandpa Ji asked, “What happened yesterday?”

Ji Shaoyan filled in, “Grandpa doesn’t know that Xiao-Yang was looking for a dog?”

Grandpa Ji replied, “I know ah.”

That bastard lost his girlfriend’s dog. Even after many days of coaxing, he wasn’t able to successfully appease his little girlfriend, so he printed a large stack of missing-dog posters and went on to stick it up everywhere. Recently, his attention was mostly centred around A-Yan, so he didn’t bother to deal with the other child.

He asked, “What did he do now?”

Ji Shaoyan pasted a helpless look on his face and said, “He kicked up quite a big fuss yesterday.”

He briefly relayed yesterday’s events and took out his phone, handing it over to Grandpa Ji. “I always felt that those friends of his were not easy to look at and just in case, I got a friend to do background checks. This is what he gave me.”

Grandpa Ji took over the phone and scrolled through. His eyelids twitched.

Ji Shaoyan said to take a real good look and the investigator followed through. First, he inserted past records of Er Ye and Lin Ye’s previous crimes, then he began to splash on dirty water*. The in-depth analysis claimed that although they appeared to be bleached white now, usually taking on small projects, opening a club, or something along the lines of that, it was another story when they were faced with their boss. With a bunch of little brothers in his grasp, any orders they were given were guaranteed to be carried through, such as kidnapping a man. It won’t be out of question to presume they have killed several people.

[T/N: spread slander]

Grandpa Ji was enraged. “This bastard child, day after day, the only thing he knows is how to cause trouble!”

“I also heard that they’ve beaten a child,” Ji Shaoyan said, “Their plan was going well at first, but because that boy stuck his foot into this matter, Lin Ye almost didn’t make it out alive. Grandpa, I think it’s best to exchange a few words with Xiao-Yang. This child gained the attention from many people, and the dog search that was initially put up online has already led some people to Xiao-Yang’s identity. What if those gang members decide to beat up that boy again once they get discharged from the hospital? The dirty water might be spilled on our Ji family’s head.”

Grandpa Ji nodded. He was very pleased, thanking the heavens that at least his darling grandson was thoughtful.

Sitting at the same table, Liang Jingxiu glanced in Ji Shaoyan’s direction. He felt that this wasn’t something his friend would do.

Going by A-Yan’s temper, pulling strings behind people’s backs and tying Xiao-Yang and the men from the underworld together until they played themselves to their end was as good as it can get. Why would he want to let Grandpa Ji in on this matter? Why was he getting Grandpa Ji to stop Xiao Yang from interacting with those people?

Not normal. This was very abnormal.

As he ate, he snuck another glance at Ji Shaoyan.

Ji Shaoyan let him glance to his heart’s desire and after enjoying his breakfast slowly, he happened to see his stepmother bring Ji Tianyang over to their group.

His father was currently abroad and can’t come back. Although his stepmother was eager for him to disappear, she did a good job hiding her true self on the surface. She gave him a loving and warm meal, her eyes slightly red and watery throughout the entire process.

Ji Shaoyan put on an even better act than her. With a smile on his face, he responded gently to every question. From time to time, he would reassure her concerns with a few words. A pair of mother and son, exuding filial peity.

Grandpa Ji waited for them to finish their exchanges before he brought Ji Tianyang in front of him, then told his daughter-in-law about the matters concerning Er Ye. The stepmother was shocked beyond belief, never expecting her son to have made friends with bosses from the criminal underworld. Together, they scolded Ji Tianyang.

Ji Shaoyan watched helplessly from the side, occasionally sighing and wearing a ‘when will you grow up, so that I will no longer need to worry about you’ appearance, just as a good big brother would.

Ji Tianyang: “……”

Fuck!

Ji Tianyang stood in place at a loss and was scolded bloody.

Grandpa Ji didn’t think it was enough so he told Ji Tianyang to quickly settle matters with the gang members and to personally send someone to the hospital to give a few warning words, telling them not to touch the child they had hospitalised.

The lively ward soon returned to its former calm.

[T/N: I’m not entirely sure where JSY is recuperating at since they switch between hospital terms and rooms in a house, though I am 90% sure he’s in a private hospital ward that somehow has connecting bedrooms and whatever]

Liang Jingxiu had cleverly exited the room before everything went down, only wandering back in when everyone else had left. He smiled with squinted eyes and looked at Ji Shaoyan. “Are you concerned about that kid?”

Ji Shaoyan tone was soft. “En?”

Liang Jingxiu said, “Don’t ‘en’ me. Yesterday, you stared at the photo of that guy for god knows how long and today it was because of him that you spilled the beans to your grandpa. Did you think I wouldn’t notice?”

Seeing Ji Shaoyan nod at these irrefutable facts, he asked out of curiosity, “You know him?”

The corners of Ji Shaoyan’s mouth hooked up in a smile and he very calmly responded, “I fell in love with him at first sight.”

“……” Liang Jingxiu felt that he had experienced an auditory hallucination. “——What?”

Ji Shaoyan didn’t reproach him for his lapse into deafness at all and repeated his confession patiently.

Liang Jingxiu gaped at him, speechless, only to realise that this guy’s little interests were a bit special*. Ji Shaoyan turned his wheelchair to face him and said, “So you see, to be perfectly frank, I don’t think warning them is enough. How about you do me a favour?”

[T/N: LJX was more surprised by the fact that JSY actually liked someone than the gender of the person JSY liked]

Liang Jingxiu: “……”

He had a bad feeling.

The people sent by Grandpa Ji arrived at the hospital quickly.

Master Lin had lost a lot of blood but was still able to retain his life. He woke up the next day and the second master, as well as their underlings, stayed with him and chattered in his ward. When the people sent by the Ji family came over, they quickly let them in.

The people from the Ji family were very polite, with smiles all over their faces as they stated how hot searches were not good for either party and how they hoped everything can end here. Since it was a misunderstanding, let bygones be bygones.

They didn’t mention it outright, but the second master understood the meaning behind these words anyway, which was that that they didn’t want them to find or make any trouble for that little rascal.

The other people in the room also understood this hidden meaning and when the messengers left they angrily fussed over the conditions. “What the hell are they getting at? Wasn’t that little boy the one who suddenly appeared while Master Lin was the one to suffer? Laozi not skinning him alive is already as good as it’ll get!”

Second Master replied, calm and easy-going, “They meant to not move him for the time being. Right now, the internet is still buzzing over this entire chase. After a month, when no one is paying attention, we’ll move in again.”

There is still no colour present on Lin Ye’s face. He slowly muttered, “Good. I will meet up with him. In person.”

With this statement, the expressions of the underlings in the room improved collectively as they echoed “en”.

They chatted for a while more, only to be disturbed mid-way by two beeps. A teenager sat in a wheelchair entered their ward. Taken aback, they asked, “You are?”

Ji Shaoyan smiled politely. “I’m a classmate of Er-shao. I happen to be living in this hospital right now and heard his friend was injured, so I came here to take a look.”

Liang Jingxiu carried a fruit basket inside, setting it aside on the table. With a smile, he clarified, “I am also his classmate.”

He pushed A-Yan out of the ward with the excuse of “getting some fresh air”, then proceeded to drive the two of them towards this hospital, changing their clothes on the way over. He even let Xiao-Yan stall Ji Tianyang’s movements. He was afraid Grandpa Ji will give them the verbal beating of a lifetime afterwards but there was nothing else he can do. He can only accept his fate and board this pirate ship*.

[T/N: to embark on an adventure]

The men in this room were all well-versed in this business and could guess this teenager’s background with just a simple scan.

Living in this hospital and the brand clothing on his body is of the normal type. It looks like his family was better off than the average person, but the extent was still limited. He probably came on behalf of Second Young Master Ji.

His own brother was bitten by a dog until he ended up in this state and Er Ye knew that Second Young Master Ji owed him more than a few favours. This time, there was an 80% chance that they were able to pull on some threads extending from the Ji family. He’s been a big boss for many years and was not in the mood to deal with some useless kid. After exchanging only a few words, he had his subordinates see off the guests.

Naturally, Ji Shaoyan didn’t want to stay for much longer either and gladly left.

When the subordinate sent him to the elevator and was about to turn back, he called the other to a stop and said hesitantly, “Actually… I have something that’s weighing my mind down and I want to tell you about it. It’s about your boss’s safety. I hope you can listen to what I have to say.”

The subordinate paused his steps immediately, turning his head to them before questioning, “What do you have to say?”

Ji Shaoyan scanned the surroundings for a moment and continued, “It’s not convenient to talk here. Let’s go to the corridors, I’ll tell you there.”

The subordinate held no objections, following him into the corridor to the side and quickly checking for any problems. Finding none, the man then looked down at him and waited for the explanation.

Ji Shaoyan folded his hands on his lap and his attitude switched to a condescending edge within a second. “I hope you guys can stay some distance away from Er-shao. Look at his status, then look at yours. So many people in the circle want to climb into the Ji family, but how many are successful? If you let the old man know that you led the Second Young Master onto the wrong path, he will definitely not spare any one of you.”

With just one sentence, the man’s expression twisted in fury.

But in the end, he was one of Er Ye’s confidants and it would take more for him to resort to physically expressing his anger. He sneered and ignored the advice, turning right around to leave.

Liang Jingxiu hurriedly grabbed the door, his attitude even more arrogant than Ji Shaoyan’s. “Where are you going, we haven’t finished talking yet!”

“Piss off!” The subordinate was in no mood to deal with these two brats and tossed the boy by the door to the side before opening it himself to leave.

It was at this time that he heard two “ah” sounds in tandem. He hurriedly whipped his head around and saw that the boy he pushed away knock into the one that sat in the wheelchair. Then, the wheelchair slid backwards and toppled down the stairs.

A person was just coming up from the floor below and was met with this shocking sight. The stranger hurriedly ran to catch them.

But in the end, what he needed to catch was two people plus a wheelchair. Unable to catch the two at all, all of them immediately fell down together.

The person who walked up to their floor was Liang Jingxiu’s bodyguard, who was instructed to stay in position in advance. When there were three or four steps left in their fall, he would push the wheelchair to the side and let Ji Shaoyan roll off by himself. The young master will then let the wheelchair hit him and, with some additional strength from his hands, directly press his ankle into dislocation.

Ji Shaoyan abruptly shook his head, then laid motionless on the ground. No words came from him.

Liang Jingxiu stood beside his body, raising his eyes to glance at this friend of his. In his mind, he shouted, ‘This is way too cruel!’

Grandpa Ji has always loved A-Yan. When he discovers that his dear grandson, afraid that his baby brother will disobey orders, dragged his weak body to help his baby brother break off this relationship and that other party not only refused to accept it but also brutally beat the boy up, the old man will never let go. In order to make circumstances a little more serious, A-Yan even dragged him into the water, for fear that Grandpa Ji’s fire won’t start to burn ah!

For that kid to push A-Yan into executing this step, this really must be true love.

The “True Love” himself just woke up at this time.

He yawned and wandered into the living room, only to find that Qian Duoshu was still lurking around. Surprised, he called out, “Why didn’t you go to work?”

Qian Duoshu’s eyes were bloodshot, his worries keeping him up almost all throughout the night.

He looked at his cold-hearted son and asked, “With something like you, you expect me to be in the state to go to work?”

Zhou Li said, “Hasn’t everyone been compensated accordingly for all this?”

Qian Duoshu was angered to the point where he almost barked out a laugh. “You honestly believe that the situation with Master Lin has been forgotten? If you never went insane and chased after the man, he wouldn’t need be hospitalised in the first place!” Just saying this made him furious and quickly shook out two pills to swallow, tried to calm down, then continued, “I’ve finished contacting your uncle. He will find someone who has contact with the second master and later on they will take us to the hospital to see Master Lin. We’ll need to make a good payment to that man.”

Zhou Li pointed to his head. “They beat me to this point, but I still have to make amends?”

Qian Duoshu said, “What else can we do? You think we can fight them?”

Zhou Li was about to break down the implications of a hot search for him and throw in some things he learned about the second young master of the Ji family to him along the way but was forced to a stop when he heard the door being knocked on several times. He paused the conversation for the time being and went over to open the door.

Qian Duoshu subconsciously thought it was his elder brother who came with the distinguished guest and hurriedly stood up to meet them, but was instead met with two men and a woman standing at the door, all of them being very well dressed. He was immediately stunned. “Who are you looking for?”

The woman standing at the head of the small group appeared a little haggard with eyes that were tinged red. Without answering him, she continued to simply stare at the boy in front of her.

The teenage boy was wearing a jacket and pants, with gauze wrapped all around his head and tattoos printed across his shoulders. Thinking about how he should’ve grown up with food and clothing beside him, then thinking about the piles of files that held information about his smoking, drinking, fighting and skipping class habits, the woman became so emotional her breathing seemed to stop all together. She collapsed in an instant.

Zhou Li: “……”

Qian Duoshu: “……”

The man behind her reached out in time to catch her, holding her head and forcing her to stop in the middle of the crowd. Seeing her slowly realise where she was once more, he picked her up and placed her on the sofa in the living room to rest. Afterwards, he stood up and observed the two people in front of him.

The man appeared to be in his early twenties and was very handsome, but his expression was somewhat cold.

He first looked at the teenager, then at Qian Duoshu. Taking a file from the bodyguard beside him and handing it forward, he lightly introduced himself. “My name is Zhou Lubo, and your son Qian Liye is a child of my Zhou family. This is a DNA identification report.”

Qian Duoshu, as if he couldn’t understand this string of human words, croaked, “——What?”

Zhou Lubo didn’t answer, pushing the report forward in response.

Qian Duoshu took it over and opened it with a blank mind. When he saw the results, all he heard was a “buzz” in his head.

He was originally lacking in sleep after the entire ordeal overnight but with this sudden surge of emotional turmoil, his blood pressure soared to 180. He too, seemed to stop breathing altogether, and his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Zhou Li hastily tried to catch him, but it was a pity that his injuries made him dizzy and slow.

Witnessing more than two hundred catties of meat “bang” onto the floor, they all felt the entire floor shake.

Zhou Li: “……”

A dead silence overtook the room.

Zhou Li and Zhou Lubo stared at each other. The former said, “Excuse me, can you help me?”

Zhou Lubo gestured to the bodyguard and asked him to help the teenager put Qian Duoshu on the sofa.

Qian Duoshu had fainted temporarily but soon woke up, regaining his anger just as quickly. “You and your farts*, this must be fake. My wife couldn’t have been with someone else behind my back, it’s impossible!”

[T/N: you guys are spouting b*llsh*t]

The door of the room was never shut. As Uncle Qian led the distinguished guest, with an Aunt Qian who rushed over after hearing of the news, everyone froze with the same shocked appearance. “——Huh?!”
