Life Giver

Chapter 30 - We can make you cultivator's.

"Hahaha" Ling laughed loudly as he patted his t.h.i.g.h.

Casmir could only awkwardly smile as he heard Ling, his laugh seemed more like a roar because of Ling's Lion like face.

The reason Ling was laughing was because of Casmir's foolishness.

Casmir had failed to woo Elena and so he attempted to improve himself by visiting Rose, only to accidently get her pregnant while also winning Elena heart.

"Haha.. You couldn't make this stuff up Casmir.. ahh..." Ling laughed.

Casmir didn't hold back what had happened between him, Rose and Elena except when it concerned his fertility and the Life Giver Orb.

Casmir trusted Ling and he also wanted his help.

"Ling, actually, there's something i wanted to ask you. I know you help out Harold with his cart most of the time while you're off from work... Well.. he found out that Rose is from the Golden Flower House, I'm worried he'll spill the beans to pap or Nanny.."

Ling nodded thinking about it, "Yeah.. I would be worried about that too.. Don't worry I'll get him to come around... A bottle of that strong port he likes will do the trick.."

Casmir looked thankfully at Ling.

They talked for a while longer about what had happened, as they spoke Casmir checked the progress of the Life Body Cycle.

He had progressed up to 4.2% completion over the past week or so, he felt very pleased with himself.

After talking for a little while Casmir's body had recovered enough for him to move about, he got up with Ling and brought him to the Kitchen.

Casmir wanted to properly welcome Ling back with a good meal...

Later on in the evening of the day after Ling had had come home, Gloria was sitting in her work room.

Normally she would be experimenting or thinking about her work at the University but today, she was thinking about Casmir and Rose.

As she sat in her chair she suddenly felt a slight breeze from behind her, she quickly got up and turned around only to see a beautiful lady wearing a blue dress looking out an open window.

The Lady looked very graceful and as she stood their looking out of the window however her face portrayed a feeling of sadness and melancholy.

Gloria was confused and wary of this lady who suddenly appeared in her house.

"W-Who are you.. How did you get in here!"

The lady furrowed her brows in annoyance as she heard Gloria.

"Calm down little girl... I'm here for Casmir's sake." She said a she lifted her harm up, opening her palm.

Suddenly a blue flame flashed into existence in the beautiful ladies palm, it looked very beautiful as it swayed however it quickly disappeared after the lady closed her hand.

Gloria calmed down and understood as she saw this flame, she noticed the aura surrounding this lady and confirmed that this was Master Bluefire.

"What do you want with Casmir?" Gloria asked.

Master Bluefire walked over to Gloria as she spoke.

"Tell me everything about him, everything you know about his parents and everything he has done in his life." Bluefire demanded coldly, she clearly didn't care for Gloria's opinion of her.

Gloria frowned but she knew how powerful and influential this lady was so, Gloria realised that Bluefire didn't care about her but she didn't understand why she had such a keen interest in Casmir.

She had hoped that by recommending Casmir be as student of hers Bluefire might meet with Casmir and realise he was Alexandra's son, this would allow Casmir to find out more about his parents.

She didn't expect that Bluefire would actually take him in as a student.

"Ok but I need to know why you have such an interest in Casmir." Gloria said firmly, she clearly wasn't willing to Let any harm come to him.

Bluefire frowned but she quickly convinced herself to explain a few things to Gloria, she had raised the boy after all.

"Casmir's parents were both very special people, he might have inherited some things from them so I need to know if he has any strange straits or.. abilities.." Bluefire said.

Gloria immediately thought of Casmir's Immunity to the Lifeless Plague, she glanced repeatedly at Bluefire, reluctant to tell her about it.

"Casmir... he.. he has some abilities...yes.."

Bluefire smiled, she knew that this child had to inherited something from that man.

She quickly asked "What are they? Inborn flight? Perfect affinities? Or is it something unorthodox?"

Gloria looked oddly at Bluefire, she realised that Bluefire was expectedly some exceedingly rare and powerful abilities. She didn't know what to say thinking about Casmir's actual ability.

"Erm... no... Casmir.. Casmir has an immunity to the Lifeless Plague.."

"WHAT!?" Bluefire screamed, a large blue flame appeared behind her as she lost control of her emotions.

As Gloria explained further and began talking about Casmir's recent experiences, this large blue flame intensified.

It was only when a glass beaker nearby exploded from the heat she gave off that Bluefire realised her situation and calmed down.

"Tell. Me. Everything." Bluefire commanded coldly as she looked at Gloria.

They talked for long into the night, both Bluefire and Gloria were shocked by what they discovered about Casmir...

======

In the morning of the next day, Elena and Casmir were making their way towards the academy.

Elena was happily talking to Casmir about her gardening, she had discovered at least three different mouse nests that she rightfully assumed were Meadow Redmice.

Casmir nodded along happily listening to her, he would occasionally asked her about something else only for Elena to unknowingly drag the conversation back to her Gardening.

Casmir didn't mind really, he was happy to listen to Elena's sweet voice all day.

As they entered the University Elena kissed him goodbye, Casmir took the opportunity to take advantage of Elena's body.

Elena's face quickly flushed red as she stepped away from him, she glared at him saying her final goodbye's before she walked back the way they came.

Elena didn't start her classes for another two weeks, she simply accompanied Casmir because she wanted to.

Having separated from Elena, Casmir made his way over to the eastern training fields.

This was were Casmir would spend most of his time over the next two weeks, it was large expanse of grasslands a few kilometres in diameter with a few basic structures.

Most of the buildings were simply large pillars that held a simple wood roof, apparently they provided shelter for students who held classes her on rainy days.

Casmir sat down in one of these buildings, it was labelled '1st Pavilion' and was where Qi students should gather on their first day.

There were already a few people here and as time passed more students came until there were roughly 2000 people.

The pavilion wasn't large enough to hold everyone here so most people waited in the surroundings.

Little did these students know, 4 Instructors were watching them from the roof of the Pavilion.

Instructor Redfire was among them, he appeared to be the leader of the group.

"Alright it's about time we reel these kids in. I'm going to take the Qi core students this year Sarah, I hope you don't mind." He said as he looked to his left.

To his left was a cold yet strict, black haired lady, she wore tightly fitting black clothing but her most prominent feature was the black aura that surrounded her.

She looked at Redfire questioningly but nodded none the less.

"Haha finally, I get to teach a whole class this year." A young blonde man said.

This man has a pair of black wings on his back and even though he was an instructor he wore very stylish and eye catching clothes.

Finally an old monk like man stood up, he had been meditating here as he waited.

He wore a kind smile on his face and combined with his plain clothes, it made him seem mysterious and knowledgably.

Upon seeing his Instructors prepare themselves Redfire walked up to the edge of the pavilion roof looking down at the students.

"ATTENTION NEW STUDENTS! LINE UP INTO 15 ROWS INFRONT OF THE PAVILLION!" He shouted, his voiced boomed across the area.

All of the students were shocked out of their conversations as they heard this loud booming voice.

Some of them recognised the voice and quickly lined up, while others took their time only to soon regret their actions.

An even louder voice impacted itself on these slower students ears, it somehow seemed to ignore those students who had lined up properly.

"MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT. I HAVEN'T GOT ALL DAY!"

Soon enough all of the students had lines up properly quietly waiting for instructions, they were all quiet because they had noticed Instructor Redfire standing on the pavilion.

Although to most students he was stood quite far away, they all subconsciously feared him because of the vast aura that flowed around his body.

Instructor Redfire had used some strange technique to spread his aura across the students supressing them, even the more capable and fearless students shrunk back under it's seamless pressure.

Seeing the appearance of the new students Redfire smiled thinking, 'Hmph, Good. They know there places now'

Redfire then began to explain some details about Heldan Academy, the course they were all on and the instructors that stood beside him.

The young stylish man with black wings was Instructor Featherfall, the lady in black was Instructor Do'Shan and the old monk was Instructor Brail.

The course would be split up into four sections, Combat ability will be taught by Instructor Redfire, understanding Qi techniques will be taught by Instructor FeatherFall, tactical knowledge will be taught by Instructor Do'Shan and Instructor Brail will develop ones knowledge of Qi cultivator's and ones temperament.

All of this was familiar to most students and it was something they expected however what Instructor Redfire told them next was something most of them were unaware of.

At the end of the first two weeks of the course, they will all need to become Grade 1 cultivators with the necessary Qi control to maintain a 10% Qi flow.

For most Cultivators it would take at least 3 months until they could achieve such results from scratch.

There were many students who had already achieved this, they sighed in relief knowing that they didn't need to accomplish this in such a short period.

The majority of the students here however were appalled, most of them were not cultivators yet and of those who were, they understood exactly how difficult maintaining a 10% Qi flow was.

Casmir's face was ugly as he heard this, he understood exactly what a 10% Qi flow meant, Elena had told him that she had taken 2 months to achieve this standard of Qi control after she became a cultivator.

However before all of the students fell further into despair, Instructor Redfire gave them a glimmer of hope.

"WE CAN MAKE YOU CULTIVATORS!" He said proudly as he and the other instructor's jumped down from the roof.
