"Meng Xiang, huh? Good name! I like it!" Tian Yi smiled at her.

Meng Xiang blushed at his words and smile, lowering her head to avoid his gaze.

Caiyi looked at the two and smiled. "You have the talent for courting little girls, Shuyi, but try not to go overboard, okay?" she said in a joking tone.

"I-I understand," he replied, not really understanding a word she'd just said.

'How you survived up to this point is more mysterious than some cultivation techniques, even heavenly phenomenon.' Caiyi inwardly shook her head.

"Okay, let's go eat. Where do you two want to go?" she asked them.

"Uhh…"

Neither of them knew where to go nor any places to go.

"Fine… follow me." Caiyi said as she walked toward the door.

The two followed her with Tian Yi behind Caiyi and Meng Xiang behind him.

After walking for about half an hour, Caiyi led the two of them into a two-story restaurant that was rather well-maintained, expensive-looking, even.

When Meng Xiang first saw the restaurant, a wall of nervousness struck her, almost causing her legs to give up. Such an expensive-looking place… are they really going to feed her here? Will they have enough money? She doesn't want to take advantage of their generosity and use up all their money from feeding her…

A beautiful lady who noticed the three's entrance walked to them with a welcoming expression. "Welcome! For how many people, esteemed guests?" she asked them.

"Just the three of us,' replied Caiyi.

"Which floor?" the waitress asked.

"The second, of course."

"Most certainly, esteemed guests." The waitress smiled brightly and brought them to the second floor, a place only for those with money to spend.

Upon entering the room with an open balcony, the waitress handed three menus with a golden frame to them and patiently waited for their orders.

Caiyi casually flipped the pages as if she was used to it.

Tian Yi slowly turned the pages, reading each meal that was on the menu, his eyes glowing brightly. This will be the first time eating mortal food for him, after all.

Meng Xiang's hands trembled with shock and horror the moment her gaze landed on the price of the food. 10 gold for a mere piece of chicken; if this was not a robbery in broad daylight, then it would near that!

And the further down she read the menu, the more terrified she got. 50 gold for a cup of tea?! Outrageous! They might as well just rob her! That'd at least make her feel less wasteful if she had any money!

Meng Xiang's eyes nearly popped out of her eye sockets when she saw some tea being sold for 1,000 gold, but with the word 'Spirit' in front of the name. What's the difference?!

While Meng Xiang was shocked at the pricing of the food, Caiyi had already ordered her food.

Understanding why she was so shocked and speechless, Caiyi smiled. "Just order whatever you want and ignore the price," she said to her.

"T-T-Then… I'll have this loaf of bread…" Meng Xiang picked the cheapest thing on the menu with a price tag of 1 silver, an amount that she'd need a month or two to collect from begging in the streets, easily allowing her to buy 50 steamed buns with that 1 silver coin. Her heart was bleeding knowing that she was being so wasteful.

"Aiya, stop being so humble. Waiter, give me a plate of this… and this…" Caiyi causally ordered a few more meal that came out to 59 gold in total, adding more to her already over 100 gold order.

"Listen here, little one; I am a Cultivator! A strong one, at that!" Caiyi pridefully bragged with a puffed chest. "Mortal currencies are merely pocket changes in my eyes!"

"R-Really? Big Sister is a Cultivator? That's very… very cool!" Meng Xiang's eyes shone brightly. In her eyes, Cultivators were immortals— gods that are able to soar in the sky and lift mountains with their pinky finger.

Being praised like that, Caiyi's nose seemingly grew longer, her skin even starting to sparkle. She was happy. "Of course! I'll let you know right now that this sister here is one of the strongest Cultivator in this world if not the strongest already!"

"Wooow! Is His Highness also a Cultivator?" Meng Xiang looked at Tian Yi who nearly coughed up a mouthful of blood at her words.

Caiyi frowned at her words. "Little one, His Highness is an existence that is beyond Cultivators and Immortals, even real Gods! Although nobody really knows his true strength, or just how deep and profound his cultivation is, don't put him together alongside those weaklings known as Cultivators! That's very disrespectful!" she lectured her, bad-mouthing herself and nearly making the startled Meng Xiang cry.

"I-I-I'm sorry…" Tears formed in Meng Xiang's eyes. She was afraid that she might have gotten her mad and will no longer be getting any food. "I didn't know…"

"Ah? Why are you crying? Don't cry… I was not yelling at you…" Not good at dealing with kids, Caiyi tried to calm her down. "Here… I'll buy you more food… Waiter!"

Meng Xiang instantly stopped crying once she heard that her food wasn't going to get taken away.

"Although I was not yelling at you, you are now also a follower of the Sacred Heaven's Temple! You have to ensure that you have proficient knowledge when it comes to His Highness, or people will only look down on you! Shuyi, this goes for you, too!"

"Huh? Ah… right…" Tian Yi said absent-mindedly, still wondering whether or not Meng Xiang actually knew his true identity.

"Also, have you finished choosing your meal? We are both waiting on you," said Caiyi to him who was still holding the menu in front of his face.

"Ah, yes, I have finished." He closed the menu and looked at the already prepared waitress. "I want everything on this menu," he said, dumbfounding the waitress and shocking the other two.

"Y-Y-You… what did you just say?" Caiyi doubted her ears and asked him.

"Huh? I said I want everything on the menu." He repeated, nearly causing her to cry out loud.

"Y-You! Are you trying to empty out my pockets in just one meal?! Although I do not care about mortal currency and happens to be a generous beauty, there is a limit to how shameless you can be!" she said in a baffled tone. "And where will all the food go? In that tiny stomach of yours?"

Tian Yi smiled bitterly. Because he might never get the chance to return to this restaurant, he wanted to experience everything in one go. "If Sister Caiyi is worried about the money, I have something that may help— "

Tian Yi reached for inside his robes as he spoke but was interrupted by Caiyi before he could even finish. "Look here, Shuyi. Although I appreciate your thoughts, just how much money could that thing you have be worth? I highly doubt it could afford all the food on this menu. You do not seem like a Cultivator, after all."

"Umm… although I do not know how much gold this thing is worth, it should be able to pay for the meal…"

Tian Yi revealed the shiny little coin that he had retrieved from inside his robes to Caiyi and the waitress, and seconds later, two shockingly loud and sharp cries shook the entire restaurant from the inside, startling everybody inside.

"Fuck! I nearly lost my ability to hear from that just now!"

"My heavens, is somebody being assaulted up there?"

"Did they see a ghost up there?"

"Just a ghost? They must have seen the ghosts of every ancestor in their family to be screaming that loud!"

Nearly receiving a heart attack because of that scream, the people on both the second and first floor complained.
