The next morning, a young man holding a little girl stood in front of the Han Group headquarters.

The security guards had asked him to leave several times, but he simply wouldn't budge.

"Mister, if you don't leave the premises right now, we will have you detained for trespassing." Finally, a guard threatened him with arrest. They would have thrown him out a long time ago, but he has a small child with him so they couldn't be so cruel.

"I'll leave immediately, just tell me where my wife is." The man began pleading.

"Sir, you said your wife is Sarah Zhou."

The man nods his head vigorously. "Yes, yes, she is."

"And we've told you that she was seen leaving with another employee at 7:30 pm yesterday. If she didn't make it home, then you should call the police to report a missing person. She isn't here. Maybe she went to a friend's house."

After hearing the guard, the man nods his head and wearily and walks away.

His heart was heavy.

He knows her better than anyone else. She wouldn't just go to a friend's house without telling him first.

He can't help but feel that something terrible has happened to her.

....

Deng Xiao walks into Han Yuan's office with a folder and some lose documents. "Sir, here are the files from last night's meeting." He says before placing them on his desk.

"Give it to my secretary to organize." Han Yuan who was busy writing something, replies without looking up.

"She isn't here sir."

"So why the hell haven't you replaced her?" Han Yuan gets irritated. Everyone under him has to be prompt and punctual or they're gone. He doesn't have time for slackers.

"She- she's been reported missing."

Han Yuan's hand freezes and he stops to stare at Deng Xiao.

"Missing?"

"Yes, her husband came in this morning, to report her disappearance. Apparently, she didn't make it home last night. And it isn't only her. Another female employee has gone missing along with her. The two of them carpool together and the security cameras show them leaving the parking lot."

Han Yuan takes a deep breath and puts his papers away. "Have the police been informed?"

"Yes. We've filed two missing person reports."

"That isn't enough. Get the information team on it." Han Yuan wants to resume his work but remembers the uncaught snake he has slithering about in his group. "Get the team on it as a front, then I want you to hire an external source to track their every move. If you don't find out who was behind the information block, then just fire them all."

"Ye-yes, sir." Deng Xiao accepts his tasks but gets stopped by Han Yuan before he can leave.

"How far are you in finishing what I assigned?"

"We are all done, sir. The last piece of furniture will arrive in the afternoon and then it will be ready for you to move in."

Hearing his assistant's reply, Han Yuan curls up his lip. He waves his hand signaling Deng Xiao to leave with a smile still plastered on his face.

Han Lili walks in and catches her brother grinning like a fool. 'Is this person not mad?'

If she didn't have important things to discuss with him, she would have walked out.
