Left and right, everywhere was filled with trees. A few lines of sunlight pierced through the dense leaves about them, giving enough illumination toward the place full of shade.

The sound of the dancing leaf could be heard everywhere, giving the sense of serenity in the quiet place.

Some sounds of animal's movement were resounded, accompanied by a woman's voice.

"Hey little Yue, where are we going now?" Liao Yun w.h.i.n.ed as she was bored on the horse.

She was an attracting woman with the height of 1.6 meters. Her skin wasn't tanned anymore like her tribesmen peers, but the colour was healthier than Mingyue's pale white skin. Her long hair was tied behind to not disturb her movement for fighting. In each of her hand was her favourite wrist guard.

Liao Yun was wearing a tiger-strip animal skin as her outfit, giving a wild aura around her. Adding the sharp eye and her trained body, even though her body was not bulky, Liao Yun had an expert aura around her.

But unlike her appearance, Liao Yun was whining around as she was bored on the whole journey. She thought after going out of the tribe's settlement, a lot of exciting things would happen. But the truth in front of her had shattered her imagination.

They would only spend six hours on the horse because the horse had their own limitation and stamina. There were not a lot of things for her to do, not even a Fierce Beast. Their journey was too peaceful.

"Do you think a Fierce Beast like a cabbage that will pop out everywhere?" Mingyue rolled her eyes while she was picking the wild veggies.

Even though the sun was still above them, Mingyue was not interested to force her new companion to run through the night. Not only the fatigue of the two horses but also their vision would be limited. Thus the best plan was taking it easy while having a good meal.

"But. . . it is boring!" Liao Yun rolled around the ground, but no one paid any attention toward her.

"What can I do. This place is literally far from civilization." Mingyue wanted to boil all the wild veggies she had found, but it was prevented by Liao Yun's big hand.

"Don't. Give it to me. Your cooking is horrible, you know?"

"Humph. Who said it was horrible. My Xiao Wu said that it was delicious." Puffing her cheeks, Mingyue made a random statement. After a handful of wild veggies was taken, Mingyue sat down while puffing her cheeks and glaring Liao Yun.

"Hey! I never say anything like that!" Xiao Wu protested, but Mingyue didn't even look at her.

"Fine, little girl. Next time you should find a time to refine your cooking skill. It is a horrible sight, you know?" As she took the role of a chef, some good scent flew around and tickled Mingyue's nose.

Knowing her absolute defeat, Mingyue didn't press-on as she put her hand under her chin. "Then I will just leave it to you."

"Return to the topic. Where are we going now? What kind of city?"

". . ." Mingyue didn't answer and she was having fun with Xiao Ming's little beak.

Even though the number of Iron-Skinned Rhinoceros that was surrounding Fu Tao was almost twice of the one that was surrounding Liao Yun, Mingyue realized that Liao Yun was in a direr situation. Different from the careful and stable fighting style of Fu Tao, Liao Yun's fighting style was influenced by her own temper and emotion. The longer she was in that situation, Liao Yun would become more rash in the fight.

"Be careful to not kick down Liao Yun's pride, or else it will be troublesome," Mingyue told Xiao Jing to distract the attention of the bunch of the Iron-Skinned Rhinoceros as well as aiming at the tendon to immobilize them for a while.
