Day 99th, the month of the wind aka autumn.

After finishing four ladies art lesson, Mingyue returned to her room as usual. Every time she went back to her room, everyone in the house understood that she was concentrated on spirit connecting phase.

Closing the door, she immediately picked up a rusty necklace - the same rusty necklace she got on the free market.

After wearing that necklace, a smile bloomed while she muttered, [All preparation is ready.]

Mingyue immediately infused Elemental into the necklace, slowly and surely, and her presence gradually became thinner and thinner.

This was the special effect of that rusty necklace.

"What? Isn't that only some baseless rumours?" Another chimed in.

"No, Instructor has confirmed it."

"What? Isn't it dangerous then?"

"If Domain's Lord said so, then…" Fear was filling their face.

"No need to be overly worried. The instructor is leading some warrior to clean up around Wolf Forest. I think Instructor won't make it in time for gathering tonight." Another guard was trying to reassure them, lightening the heavy atmosphere.

"Well, usually nothing's wrong when Domain's Lord is the one moving!"

"That's right! That's right!"

Seeing some people gathered in front of the domain's gate, so Mingyue couldn't help eavesdropping their conversation.

[Gray Wolf? Fierce Beast?] Mingyue silently listened to their conversation.

[Well, it is not like I want to hunt Fierce Beast.] Taking a chance where people are not looking, Mingyue immediately ran to the other side of the domain's gate.

Staring at her left and right, very careful as to avoid even any pebble made any sound, Mingyue moved forward under the dark night, under the dark shadow, embraced by the cold night breeze.

[Currently, I have successfully sneaked outside of the gate. Even though the number of guards is lesser than usual, some people still grouping up close to the gate. I didn't know what they were doing. Maybe they were waiting for some people, so they could go to gathering together later.] Staring at her behind, she realized the number of people around the domain's gate had reduced considerably.

[The number of guards here is lesser maybe because of my Grandpa. He is still hunting for some pack of Gray Wolf. Based on Dad's explanation, Gray Wolf is a tier one Fierce Beast. But that is not the troublesome things. If there is a bunch of Gray Wolf together, their strength is comparable to tier two Fierce Beast.]

There is a different difference between normal beast and Fierce Beast. Of course Fierce Beast was far more dangerous because they are capable of using spirit aka Elemental. Also, they began to develop their intelligence, a cunning Fierce Beast is not weird. So they were definitely stronger and smarter than a normal beast.

There are ten different tiers of Fierce Beast, from tier one until tier ten. But for the high tier Fierce Beast, they usually stayed in their own territory and rarely come out of their nest. Even Xia Wushan never encountered the high tier Fierce Beast.

Tier one Fierce Beast, they are capable to use Elemental. Usually, they were enhancing their physical strength from Elemental. The difference between tier one Fierce Beast with normal beast was their strength, while their appearance almost had no difference.

Tier three Fierce Beast, they began to develop their intelligence. They began to have their own Elemental Affinity. For example, Jade Wind Wolf.

Tier six Fierce Beast, they were capable to understand human speech. And usually, they were the one who leads the Fierce Beast in the 'Beast Stampede'.

People at most only encounter tier one or tier two Fierce Beast. Of course, if they are unlucky, they will meet with those of tier three.

[Yup, this is the place. . .] Mingyue muttered in low voice.

Mingyue remembered this place when she returned from Star Royal City. A small area of forest, detached from Wolf Forest.

[Dad said because of the road clearing, a part of the forest is cleared, leaving an awkward small part. Then this small part of the forest was left alone, no one comes here, no one is interested. People rarely came to this place, since there was nothing in this forest. Thus, it should be safe for me to hide in this place.]

After reaching a secluded area in the small Wolf Forest, Mingyue sat down to take a breath and began her experiment soon after.

[Of course, I couldn't blindly remove my Spirit Brand on my soul. I need to check if there was something I could do to this Spirit Brand.]

Sitting down in the middle of the tall grass, Mingyue began to focus on her Spirit Brand.

Sun disappeared from the sky, taking away all the left-behind illumination, only leaving starry sky behind. People started to arrive together at Domain Hall, a place where usually Xia Longyu, Domain's Lord were training guards and warrior.

Some people had arrived earlier and were sitting on the ground, while some were drinking alcohol. Many laughs could be heard around Domain Hall.

Xia Wushan had arrived earlier, together with Lan Bingyue.

"I wish Father-in-law is fine. . ." Lan Bingyue muttered softly.

"I think it is fine right? Not many people can defeat my Dad." Xia Wushan smiled reassuringly

"Don't forget how cunning a Fierce Beast is. It is not like you don't know." Lan Bingyue rolled her eyes at Xia Wushan remarks. Even if her Father-in-law was strong, that didn't mean that he is invincible.

"Don't worry, some guards are still patrolling. If there is something happen, I will move."

A few kilometres from Mingyue's hiding place, a pack of Gray Wolves was spreading out. Some of Gray Wolves were killed by Xia Longyu's team. Some of the Gray Wolves were trying to take revenge, and some others were trying to aim easy target. In simple word, the pack of Gray Wolves was spreading out. And accidentally, a Gray Wolf was running in the direction of Mingyue.

If it was the usual Mingyue, she would smell a scent of danger that came nearby. But unfortunately, she was too concentrated on her Spirit Brand.

[Looks like this Spirit Brand on my collarbone is connected with Spirit Brand on my Immortal Soul.] Mingyue muttered silently

When Mingyue tried to draw out Elemental from Spirit Brand on her body, the Spirit Brand on her soul also began to fade out. The colour and shape of the Spirit Brand became blurry. This means if she could remove this Spirit Brand, then her soul would return to her original Immortal Soul. In the good scenario, of course.

But removing Spirit Brand was the same as removing her hard work for many days - doing a useless work, like returned to the starting line. After contemplating it a little, she made a choice to remove her Spirit Brand.

But condensing these Elemental from Spirit Brand was not something easy. She needed a container, that's capable to hold Elemental.

Mingyue tried to make a thin container made from Elemental she draw from spirit, from the surroundings. Seeing it worked, she was trying to envelope Elemental from her Spirit Brand with the container. In the end, because it was a hassle, Mingyue fused some Elemental from the spirit and Elemental from Spirit Brand.

The result of the fusion between Elemental from the spirit and Elemental from Spirit Brand was a stabilized and a materialized form of elemental. Of course, she needed to condense those Elemental to make sure it was stabilized and wouldn't be spilt anywhere.

[The outcome is not bad. This Elemental has been stabilized and I have almost fully removed this Spirit Brand. Ha ha.] Mingyue was surprised with the good result.

A stray Gray Wolf suddenly smelled a scent of a human. The scent was very alluring for this Gray Wolf.

After sniffing around, that Gray Wolf immediately slowed down and went straight to the Mingyue's place. The Gray Wolf was smart enough to be careful to avoid human-made trap after its kin was being hunted by a bunch of humans, making its vigilance was in top condition.

Depending on its sharp sense of smell, the Gray Wolf didn't find any other trace of human nearby. After it was sure that there was no other dangerous scent, the Gray Wolf immediately went to the source of the delicious human's scent.

And Mingyue, who didn't realize the incoming precarious situation, still focused on completely removing her Spirit Brand.
