Kiss Me Not

100 Fix Things

In the King's bedroom, Lucas looked at the photos of Cecilia from the various albums she organized. Cecilia loved doing such things. Putting together photos and videos. She would always say that nothing could compare with the happiness such photos and videos would give to the person who sees them. She used to say that photos and videos were like memories that would take a person back to that time especially if it's about someone he/she missed the most.

He lovingly caressed her face in the photo and whispered, "I don't know what really happened during that time Lia, but I really regret not being able to save you. You must have struggled a lot while delivering our babies but I failed to be with you. Oh God, I'm really sorry," he whispered as tears clouded his eyes.

He could not imagine how horrifying that experience must have been for her. She not only had to deliver in that circumstance but also watch her child getting taken away from her.

"But you did a good job in protecting our second child Cedric my Love… It was me who was incapable of protecting him and lost him again. And now, h-he… Oh God, I don't even know if our son is alive Lia! I'm really sorry for being so useless…"

His loud sobs filled the room. He was crying because he was too devastated and hated himself for not saving his wife. Soon after he composed himself because he knew it was not the time to wallow in sorrow. He must act fast and fix everything. He was against Gavin going back to the man who brought him up like a father because they were not yet sure if he was one of the enemies or not.

But Gavin was decided and right that it was best. He would have busy days ahead so he must take good care of his health to make sure that it won't hinder the plans they made to fix everything, not to include the State affairs and the Prime Minister's ordeal.

He already assigned a few men to rescue Oliver and Olivia was also cooperating with them covertly.

He could not stop the smile on his face at the thought of his second son Cedric being alive. He could not wait to see Cedric reunited with Olivia whom  Cedric treasured very much.

"Please stay safe son because I promise we will not stop looking for you," he whispered, full of hope.

Meanwhile, back in the Prince's bedroom, Gavin stared at Brione who was sleeping peacefully on their bed. He grabbed the journal that was on the bedside table and opened it. No wonder the journal looked familiar to him because it was actually his journal. He had to say that he was indeed a writer because during his stay in Perdu Island at his den in the forest, he…

He let out a frustrated sigh, passing his hands through his hair. There were still a lot of unanswered questions in his mind but it was good that at least the mystery behind his identity was revealed. He had one less thing to worry about.

He was honestly glad that Brione was adamant in her belief that he was Gavin, the man she loved. He smiled as he closed the journal and placed it back on the table before he lay down next to Brione.

He stared at her beautiful face and caressed it lightly, "No more loving you from the dark Sweetheart. My longest wish of expressing my feelings to you without holding back has finally been granted."

He could not help but admire her for recognizing him despite everything. She was truly one of a kind and he was sincerely grateful that they found one another and are together now.

Also, he finally understood the strong feelings he was towards Brione all this time. He might have lost his memory about her but definitely not his feelings towards her. She was the woman meant for him from the start.

He felt very relieved by the fact that Brione would not have to go through another heartbreak in case he was really Cedric and Gavin was alive somewhere else and would eventually return.

He sighed deeply. How he hoped for all his memories to return soon so that he could help them solve the mysteries way quicker. In his dream, Cedric, his twin brother whom he probably met also for the first time on that ship, was shot…

"I hope you're alive and safe somewhere Cedric," he whispered and said a silent prayer for his brother.

He had already discussed everything with Brione. The plan was for him to go back to who he was. He would come back as Gavin Wu and hopefully to his true identity as one of the Prince of the Royal Family at country B. Getting his real identity and life back was important but they must catch the bastard responsible for everything before he has a chance to escape again so for now he would return just as Gavin Wu.

Brione moved and slowly opened her eyes. She smiled when she saw Gavin staring at her. She raised her hand to touch his cheek.

"You're so warm Darling," Brione whispered. Chuckling, Gavin kissed her hand and said, "You seem to like calling me Darling now."

Brione sheepishly chuckled too and said, "Yeah Darling… It's better than making a mistake and calling you Gav out of the blue while we are still here. We don't want anyone else to know who you are"

"Yeah, but don't worry, we will return to country D soon, and you can call me Gav anytime you want without having to worry Sweetheart. We just need to fix a few things here first before leaving. It might take us a few days to create the story about how I was found. We have to make it perfect without any loopholes so as to not jeopardize the plan," Gavin said.

"But what if Duncan knew about the twins? About Cedric? You suspected that Duncan might be involved in the kidnapping of Cedric before right? If he is then he knows…" Brione concluded.

"Yeah, but there's also a possibility that he doesn't know too so I must go to Damiel and be Gavin Wu again to find out more," Gavin stated.

"I'm really worried about this. If Uncle Damiel is involved then you are putting yourself in great danger."

"You know him well enough right? How was my relationship with him?" Gavin asked.

"It was good. In fact, Noah and I were honestly envious of you and your family. You two loved each other very much. You always bragged about how lucky you were to have  Uncle Damiel as your dad. Honestly, it's hard for me to even imagine that he might actually be involved in this matter.

What if he just accidentally found you and decided to take care of you? This might also be a possibility because how he treated you as a father looked sincere to me Gav…" Brione voiced out.

She had witnessed enough to know how sincere Uncle Damiel's love as a father towards Gavin was.

"We will see when I go back to him," Gavin whispered as he caressed Brione's cheek with the back of his hand.
