A week went by quickly at Crux City. Adara and Eden were able to build up winning streaks fighting other academy students. Oak Academy was on a roll. Headmaster Oak even had Isaac participate in his first match as well.

It turns our that all the pillar charging that Headmaster Oak told Isaac to do paid off. Two days after Isaac started, Headmaster Oak gave Isaac a low level spell called Radiance, it allowed Isaac to cast several light orbs around himself that would explode if they touched anything.

During Isaac's fight his opponent couldn't get near him! Isaac simply casted Shield of Light and Radiance and charged towards his opponent with his shield and rammed them off the stage. Isaac was on cloud nine. He went from being considered a trash under Eldritch Academy, to becoming a treasure in the eyes of Headmaster Oak! The Academy morale was at an all time.

'Isaac sits on the front line with Adara, the two water elementalists provide support, and Eden controls the enemy's movements' thought Headmaster Oak.

Headmaster Oak couldn't wait for the remaining elementalists to meet up with them at Crux City. There would be a few more weeks until then. Headmaster Oak wanted to get the three with him used to combat and would catch the other two up later.

The new week arrived quickly. Eden and Adara went to the Armory to learn how to tailor and how to become a blacksmith.

Adam the head blacksmith was instructing Eden. He gave Eden all types of ores, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and even showed him some of the rare element stones.

He then showed the techniques to Eden that he would have to learn. Patiently showing him the process as he crafted a sword made of silver.

"Forging, is the process of heating and the shaping metal with hammering techniques. Quenching is where the the item is doused in water or oil to harden it. If this is not done correctly, the sword could fracture or warp in size. Once the metal is hardened, a blacksmith would continue to temper the sword until it has reached the d.e.s.i.r.ed state."

Eden was like a sponge taking in all the information he could. Adam was surprised at the Eden's demeanor. Blacksmithing was hard and for the most part a job lacking the flair other jobs would have. However with Eden, Adam felt that Eden actually enjoyed learning how to be a blacksmith.

Adara on the other hand, worked with the head tailor within the armory and couldn't grasp the basics. For some reason, it was hard for Adara to get motivated by stitching and sewing cloth. The head tailor got extremely frustrated teaching her, but soon an epiphany came.

The head tailor pulled out several mannequins and dressed them in several different garbs. Armors made from thick cotton, leathers made from animals hides. The head tailor proceeded to bring them outside and have Adara punch at them.

Adara spent the whole afternoon punching through dozens of cloths and leathers, getting the feel for them, and the amount of force necessary to damage them. Adara quickly got used to the amount of force necessary to cause damage through each form of leather. Adara was able to punch through earth hog hide, ape skin, wolfskin, and several other cloths. The head tailor worked with her and she gradually learned why some hides were worth significantly more than others and what tailors look for in quality items.

'This girl can only learn through her fists' chuckled Eden as he was watching Adara during one of his breaks. Eden was currently studying the different types of ores being used. He looked at the shelf near the front of the business, the owner of the cherry blossom sword has not picked up the sword yet.

Adam noticing that Eden could not stop staring at the cherry blossom sword said to him,"If you work hard, one day you too shall be able to craft a sword as fine as that one. Hammer by hammer, polish your skills."

"Teacher, I still would need luck to get the elemental ore to craft something of that standard." sighed Eden.

"Keep working hard, those who work hard put themselves in a situation where luck shall favor them." instructed Adam.

At the city square of Crux City, lay the Grisebach Auction House. Back in Border Town, Marth had instructed Eden to visit the Grisebach Auction House when he arrived at Crux City. The establishment represented wealth, golden doors at the front with guards patrolling it.

'Mr. Marth sure is wealthy, what is he doing with a manor in the middle of nowhere such as Border Town' thought Eden. Eden entered the building.

There was an attendant manning the front desk, he was wearing a suit with a gryphon lapel pinned to his suit, this was the symbol of the Grisebach Auction House. The attendant looked at Eden a bit puzzled when he entered. The Grisebach Auction House wasn't a place that kids would usually go to unattended.

"Hey kid, are you lost? This isn't a place for kids to go unattended without an a.d.u.l.t around." asked the attendant.

"Excuse me sir, I was wondering... Is Mr. Marth here?" asked Eden.

'Huh.. this kid knows Mr. Marth. I wonder who this kid is' thought the attendant.

"Mr. Marth will be here in about a month" responded the attendant.

"Did a shipment of sculptures from Border Town come here?' asked Eden.

'He knows about the sculptures shipment? Maybe Mr. Marth told him that he could purchase these sculptures in the auction. I wonder if he's here to purchase them.' thought the attendant.

"Yes kid, they are here, but you will have to wait another week to buy these sculptures. They are considered treasures by Mr. Marth and will be the centerpiece for non-magical items." replied the attendant politely. "Seeing them myself, I can see why Mr. Marth treasures upholds their value so highly."

"Ah alright, I guess I'll come back in a week." bowed Eden. Eden waved goodbye and made his way towards the exit.

"Hey Kid, maybe you'll get a chance to meet Mr. Marth next week. He'll also be at the auction!" shouted the attendant.

"Thank you sir!" shouted Eden as he continued walking out.

'What a nice kid. I wish more people were like this kid, all I ever deal with is entitled nobles and businessmen. I wonder why this kid is so interested in sculptures though.' thought the attendant.
