Chapter 37 A Fool's Fight part 2

Saferu and the girls hurriedly run towards the inn leaving a group of hooligans laying on the floor although this thugs just lost their consciousness it would be an annoying problem for Saferu if the police interrogate them.

"Papa that was fun.. Bad people are flying.. Woosshh.." Cassandra cheerfully laughed as she was being carried by Saferu the view she saw when the group of thugs flew from his Papa's punch and kicks to a little child it was very amusing.

"Your right dear your Papa is way to cool.." Anne happily said as her eye glitters with heart shape as she looks towards Saferu showing a sign of worship.

Angeline remains silent as she remembers Saferu's action and a look of suspicion flash at her eyes. Unlike Anne, Angeline had been observing Saferu ever since they were in high school although she wasn't bothered at first thinking that a person would change after a few years up growth but she met Saferu earlier before and such contradiction of character was so obvious.

(The Saferu I met was a timid and shy one was he just hiding his true self at that time) Angeline decided to throw her thoughts at the back of her head what's important was the Saferu in front of him was very capable and benevolent to them.

Back in the game the other Saferu already finished all his preparations as he gathered 100 troops to battle along with his Heroic wife Crystal. But before that he decided to wear a mask he obtained before as he wanted to hide his face knowing that the church of light was hunting beta players if his face were exposed not only well he be targeted the girls especially the little child well also be in danger. "Crystal rally the troops well be living a soon as possible.." Saferu was wearing his kings costume which can be customize and change to any cloths the the wearer d.e.s.i.r.e and so that he and Crystal had the same theme he change it into a white light robe with some angelic symbols the same as Crystal. If a devotees saw his appearance from a far they will mistaken him as a bishop of the church as his appearance was almost similar to one although if you take a look at it clearly one can tell the difference as Saferu's was custom made to appear the same as Crystal's sacred armor. The mask also suit his appearance as it was called The mask of faith as it hides the wearers aura although powerful gods are not affected by it the mask purpose was to hide his face after all true God's can't enter the world.

At the center of the Arena Gigantic Muscular Soldiers are gathered they had a strong sense of discipline despite being a barbarian. What was catching to the eyes are behind them 10 golden slime are also lining up. It was a comical contrast to look at as this small golden slime was hidden by the gigantic presence of the barbarian soldiers as for their purpose why Saferu included them on this battle well be shown later during the fight as this weak looking golden slime was one of the hidden trump cards Saferu prepared for the Arena battle.

"System Open the gate towards the Arena.." Saferu gallantly said

A huge blue screen appeared and after Saferu press yes the soldiers in front of him vanish and inside the blue screen Saferu can see them and he can also arrange them in a formation that he wanted. As Saferu was ignorant of playing war games he decided to line them up in a triangular formation.

Saferu press yes, what happened next was that he and Crystal was engulfed with a blinding white light as they disappeared from the spot they stand when the light disappeared Saferu and Crystal found themselves in a huge floating platform where they can see other floating platforms the same as where they are currently standing can be seen. Below them was a huge ancient battle ground where different fights are being held and the fights are also divided by a mysterious space not allowing others to join. Spectators are only allowed to watch inside the floating platforms while players fighting are sent to the ancient battlefield below. If a player wanted to watch another player they can use the Arena interface at the Blue screen to search for a certain player fighting.

"What an amazing scene.." Saferu admired the amazing view in front of him although he can't clearly see below unless he pointed out a particular player but the fighting made his spirit excited.

What he didn't know was that the moment he entered the Arena it made a huge uproar in the real world as the system automatically announced his presence.

The various forces who constantly monitored the huge screen of the KoFO tower were shocked when they saw Saferu's appearance but another group was more surprised as they recognised the armor in which Saferu's Heroic wife had worn it was a unique armor of the Holy Knight.

The most affected one was the faction of Jagan empire as they felt that this player was a traitor that the Church of Holy light had planted in their country.

"So the reason why we can't identify this player is because he is part of that crazy fanatical group.. Curse them they dare to convert and make one of our people against us.." The emperor of Jagan hated the church of light so much because they had been secretly been converting the Jaganese people turning them into mindless worshipers puppets that only obeyed the will and words of their god. To the Jaganese Emperor who was also a lesser god such thing was a direct insult to him and a direct challenge to his authority as such they had been at each other throat for a thousandth of years secretly fighting behind the scenes where normal people are ignorant of their wars.

In an underground palace at the center of Holy Romban City the Dark pope had also had a complicated feelings as he can't tell if the rank 1 player was an ally or foe. By appearance alone he can tell that he was part of their faction but he was not aware of such existence until now and clearly this person wasn't part of his Holy Knights. An impostor was his conclusion but this person set up was too similar to their own people especially the two man team. As a Holy Knight were considered a biological weapon as they can lose control to themselves and went berserk a priest or a bishop often accompanied them holding the remote control bomb that well kill them if they ever lose control. This made him more confused especially the mask of faith which are only given to faithful devotees of the Church of light.

The Dark pope hadn't yet received the news of the fallen holy knight as that place was quite remote far away from the city. It was a small village that was only used as a bus stop towards S City. The death of the Holy knight just happened 2 days ago and the Holy Knight protocol stated that they can only be declared missing after no news or reports from them can be heard for a week only then well they be searched and investigated as such the Dark pope was confused of Saferu's appearance.

Same report can be heard all over the world especially for the people who were part of the UNA as they felt threatened by an unknown enemy that comes from the church of light. To the lesser gods the Church of Light was their biggest enemies and the only threat of blocking their path to ascended as a mid tier gods because of this they hastened the UNA convention as most lesser gods hurriedly went to S City. A new Agenda was added. It was about the rank 1 player that was suspiciously believed to be a part of the Church of light. Major organisation started to move as various spies planted inside the Church of light was given a priority mission to investigate the identity of the rank 1 player but no matter what they do such existence seems to had no relationship with the church which made the people believe that this player was deeply hidden and protected by the church of life.

Back at the Inn both Angeline and Anne were surprised to see another Saferu appearing inside the game. After all there was another Saferu who was currently playing with the little child Cassandra not far from the two of them.

"Saferu what's going on I thought that you are BakaNoBaka.." Anne was the first one to ask as she badly wanted to know.

"Ahh.. It's one of the few things I obtained as a rank 1 player remember the afk system? Just think of that as an AFK puppet that is playing the game on my behalf.." Saferu gave them an unbelievable reply but his calm words made the two girls doubt if he was lying or not.

" Saferu is that even allowed such a cheat like item?.. '' Angeline said with a mix of doubt on her tone

" Why not? Did you see the system objections? It's all part of the game. I'm just lucky to obtain cheat-like items so early in the game.. " Saferu mysteriously smiled.
