As the sound of the keyboard echoed at the silent little room of Saferu.

A loud shout was heard as his fathers voice summoning him from the living room.

"USELESS SON COME HERE! I NEED YOU TO DO SOMETHING!"

As if a huge crisis arrive Saferu almost jump at his chair as he rush running towards the voice direction.

Saferu grow up fearing his father the most.

If a devil stands between him and his father.

He would rather fear his father than the devil.

Might as well fight the devil than challenging his fathers authority.

It was a fear planted ever since he was a small kid.

Other child might grow up fearing ghost stories but for Saferu,

His mother always use his father to tell him scary things about him such as If you do things your Father well hit you with his belt.

Or If you are not a good child your father will not buy you some toys.

Much worse if he was not a good child his father will not allowed him to play with other kid.

In fact Saferu was often expose by mysterious things like long tongue hanging at the window at the middle of the night.

Or a mysterious maid they once hired who has a scary face but suddenly disappear at an empty room in their old house.

Or a little white girl with no face appearing and disappearing when they are moving to another house.

His disease grandmother often told such stories but compare to his father this events are rather interesting.

The fear from his father NEVER disappear despite him successfully sealing his emotions.

Supernatural beings never scared him but hearing the voice of his angry father is much scarier than a bunch of ghost whispering in his ears.

This events often happens when Saferu was young.

When he grow older they never appeared again.

His decease grandmother often said that little children had their third eyes open.

But as they grew older the third eyes close as an a.d.u.l.t often have a firm belief of reality.

"Father here I am.."

A small voice came from Saferu as he trembled and thought of any mistakes he did to summon his father's wrath.

"Useless as always. Here take this go outside and buy some dog and cat food!"

Saferu's father gave him the money and after that he returned at his own room shutting the door tightly.

Saferu realize that his father was in a bad mood as their was no religious activity lately.

As one of the leaders of such organization his father often takes offerings from it.

It was the main source of income in their family.

As such Saferu grows not believing in god at all.

Such a servant of god is no different from a working a.d.u.l.t.

And a scary a.d.u.l.t that serve a so called benevolent god.

Saferu silently curse such god and often called it the "THE GOD OF HYPOCRITES".

Saferu return in his room and change clothes.

He shutdown his old antique computer and went outside.

He might be a NEET but like mentioned earlier he can act as a normal person.

Years of practice made him seal his emotions and he can ACT as the most benevolent being.

If their are other people or guest at their house Saferu is force to hide his fear and act normal.

The place he needed to buy pet foods was not that far from their place.

He only need to walk for an hour before arriving in a little market place.

As he was a social outcast he hurriedly bought the pet food and didn't do anything unnecessary.

He was already at his way back home when a familiar gently voice called him.

"Saferu is that you? hey do you still remember me?"

It was a young and beautiful girl with an angelic face.

She might not have a s.e.xy body but it was a good figure in Saferu's eyes.

Her gentle voice almost shattered the seal in Saferu's heart.

Saferu instinctively wanted to run away but he doesn't want to ignore her or embarrass himself at such situation.

"Angeline?.."

Saferu timidly reply while showing a shy expression.

"How nice you still remember me! How are you now? You are still very shy you never change"

Angeline smiled at him.

Such smile almost made his heart fly away and ascend to heaven.

Why such a beautiful girl exist!

Saferu can't help but swallow his saliva as no words well come out from his mouth.

Angeline grab his hand and invite him to eat some food while talking about the past.

Her soft hand made Saferu's heart struggle as it feel like running away from a group of zombies.

His heart was beating so fast that almost made his face explode from embarrassment.

They found a little empty food stall.

They ordered food and choose an empty table.

As they started to eat, it was Angeline who started talking about the past.

"Saferu how are you now? How's work? Back in the days you are very famous for being smart. Although we meet everyday we never had a chance to talk like this."

"Did you already have a girlfriend or a wife maybe? got a few kids?"

Angeline words sounds nice and heart warming but for Saferu it was an endless knife stabbing at his back.

Every time Angeline speak.

Saferu heart are being squeezes and tortured to death.

He can't even reply or talk to her.

What else can he say?

"Hey Angeline I am a NEET! A college drop out! No Girl friend since Birth!"

Such thing Saferu won't dare to mention in front of his first love.

Or can he even tell her about Crystal?

Can He say proudly that he has a wife in another world?

Won't that make her think He was crazy?

Saferu has no words to say at her and silently eat his share.

Angeline was nice enough to notice his odd behavior and didn't dig to much on it.

She continued her one sided talk.

although Saferu is in the loner faction he would never hate her.

It has been awhile since Saferu talk to a real girl and he already consider it lucky talking to her first love.

They talk for awhile before Angeline said good bye.

Before Angeline left him she invited him at their class reunion a week from now.

"Bye..!Bye..!"

"Saferu see you again at the class gathering! Make sure you come alright! Let's fix that shy behaviors of yours while were at it"

Angeline wave her hand as her figure slowly disappear at a distance.

Saferu remains standing as his eyes can't help but follow her directions.

He only move when he can no longer see Angeline's figure.

He felt bless that he forgot that a demon was waiting at him when he returns home.

He acted normal in front of Angeline but after they separated his face return from the empty and dejected look.

When he arrive the angry voice of his father shattered his wild delusion and forcefully return him in reality.

He was having an illusion that Angeline might also like him.

But the barrage of insult from his father made him realize such dream is impossible to happen.

A perfect girl like Angeline must have plenty of suitors who knows she might even have a boyfriend or much worse she is already married.

"Wheres the money left for buying the pet food?"

"Why the hell are you late?"

Hearing his fathers calm words made him shiver as he knows that his father was very angry at him at that moment.

The money was use to buy food with Angeline.

During that time Saferu was having suicidal thoughts.

"If I die from spending this money, then so be it. In exchange for having a conversation with Angeline. It's worth dying for!"

Saferu has no idea where he obtain the courage to spend that money but at that moment he was already kneeling waiting for his father to punish him.

At worst he well just kneel at a ground full of raw salt.

(AN: crystal like salt unlike the one you can buy at the market. They hurt like hell as your knee won't bleed because the salt well bury itself in your knee.)

Saferu without a second thought run in the kitchen to retrieve some salt.

But before he could kneel his father's cold eyes staring at him made him freeze.

His heart almost stop but hearing his father's next word he calmed down.

"I have a guest coming go back to your room and don't come out after dinner"

His father has a habit of never showing his anger when theirs a guest or other people.

He needed to protect his saintly image.

So he can't scold Saferu as it well greatly affect his mood and the guest might notice such abnormality.

Saferu hastily run away from that spot as he returned in his room and lock the door.

He wanted to go to sleep to return at Crystal's side but his father might ask him to do things or even introduce him to the guest.

He already knows what to do as he has been showing a perfect son appearance in front of his fathers guest.

Although every time he was introduce the guest will always sympathize and feel sorry for Saferu's father for having a leech son who only knows how to suck at his parents.

Saferu turned on his old antique computer.

He suddenly remembered his phone.

He failed to notice it as he always had his phone in SILENT MODE.

And he gravely regretted not getting Angeline's phone number.

On a second thought he should not ask for his number in the first place.

As he took his phone a bunch of notification appeared that came from the Kingdom of Fools Online.
