Just A Bit Gay

I put a sofa pillow on my face wanting to cry but no tears coming out so I just made a wooowooowooo sound. "Stop it already! I get it! I'm much more embarrassing than you!"

I heard him chuckle. "Bai, this is why you shouldn't go against me. You can't win."

I huffed and put the pillow to my c.h.e.s.t. "Tsk! One day I'll beat you up!"

"Sure, you will. If that ever happens I'll kneel in front of you and call you master." Shen Jin said offhandedly.

Just wait Shen Jin. If I can't beat you up with sheer force I'll drug you then beat you up! (A/N and here we have witnessed the fall of Qin Bai's moral integrity.)

"You better honor that promise. If I beat you up one day you'll definitely kneel and call me master!" I said whipping my phone and recording him.

Shen Jin's lips twitch a little looking annoyed. "I, Shen Jin, shall kneel before and call Qin Bai my master IF he ever beats me up."

I stopped the recording and backed it up online. I leaned back and smiled in satisfaction. Hehehehe oh Shen Jin heheheheh.

I suddenly hear a soft ring inside the room. I look towards Shen Jin and saw him pressed a button on the remote he was holding. It must be the one that will alert the waiter to enter. Soon enough the wait push the door open and came in with food and other servers.

He placed the food on the table in the center of the room, about a meter and a few feet from where Shen Jin and I are lounging on the couches near the TV. They opened the lid covering the food and the fragrance instantly hit me. The smell is intoxicating the butter on the lobsters is especially alluring to my nose.

I stood up from my seat and immediately sat down on one of the chairs beside the table. I look at Shen Jin excitedly. Widening my eyes telling him 'Well? What are you waiting for?! Let's eat!'

Shen Jin stood up and slowly made his way in front of me the sat down. The servers all stood at one side and one said. "Please enjoy your meal, if you need anything feel free to press one of the buttons on the remote to notify us. Thank you." Then they left in an orderly fashion.

What wonderful staff, as expected of a high end restaurant like this where elites gather. This reminds me, does Shen family have connections with the owner of Sea Palace? He has his own private room here, even getting reservations will take a few months. Sea Palace is located here in the capital where all the rich seem to swarm in, if you're meeting a client, business partner, associates ect. here it means it's either you think highly of them or they think highly of you.

Sea Palace also had it's fair share of engagement or proposals. In short Sea Palace is a high class restaurant that can only be afforded by the rich and powerful. Owner of the Sea Palace is a foreign family named Ramirez, originating from S country. Of course the Sea Palace here is only a branch and the main one is in S country.

It's either Shen family has relations to the Ramirez family or they just know the one in charge of the Sea Palace in the Capital. I so badly want to ask him but I really don't want to know too much. Shen Jin may be my childhood friend but it doesn't change the fact that he once left without saying anything or contacting me afterwards.

I may act as if he didn't leave in the first place and just went with the flow however there's still this wall between us that I don't want to cross. He's both familiar and unfamiliar to me right now.
