After Lin He left, Yan Han began to think about whether to go to the island or not.

Why was she going to the island? There were many reasons, of course, the most important one was related to Han Chi.

In the past few days, she began to have the same dream. The content of the dream was always: Han Chi was tied to a stool, and a middle-aged man injected him with a zombie virus.

After having so many predictive dreams, she had mastered some rules. If she had the same predictive dream for several days, it meant that the date of realizing the dream was not far away.

It was not that she didn’t want to go to other cities, but going to other cities meant that she chose to stay away from the past ‘Yan Han’. In the next few days, she would always be a zombie who didn’t know her past and future. What did that mean?

At twelve o’clock noon, Lin He woke up and walked out of the basement with two cans.

He opened a can and asked Yan Han if she was hungry. Yan Han shook her head.

Lin He dug a bite of the canned meat and put it in his mouth to taste. The taste seemed very bad. He frowned and said, “Oh, you zombies eat human flesh.”

Yan Han shook her head again and wrote on the paper, “I haven’t eaten human flesh for a long time.”

“Won’t you be hungry?”

She nodded, “I’ll be hungry. When I first went to the island, I wanted to bite people when I saw them, but I can resist it.”

After hearing that, Lin He made an exaggerated and frightened expression, and said, “Then you don’t want to bite me?”

Yan Han grinned at him and nodded.

Lin He put a mouthful of canned meat into his mouth and said, “No way.”

Yan Han ignored him, lowered her head and wrote on the paper for a while, then handed the paper to him, “I can’t stay here any longer. I have to go. I’m afraid there will be more changes if I stay.”

After reading the note, Lin He lost his joking look and asked seriously, “When are you going to leave?”

“I’ll wait until it’s dark. There are many zombies wandering outside in the daytime. It’s estimated that your house might be exposed.”

Lin He nodded, although he felt a little disappointed, he didn’t say anything to keep her.

Alas, he finally found someone who he could chat with, but she was leaving.

He quickly dug a few mouthfuls of the awful can, chewed them in a hurry and swallowed it.

“Don’t worry, wait a minute, I have something to give you.”

After saying that, Lin He put down the canned meat and ran to the basement again.

About half an hour later, Lin He came out of the basement with a large bag of things on his back.

He opened the backpack and took out the contents one by one, all of which were offensive weapons, “You asked me to think of a way.  I thought about it all night, but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m really sorry. I will give you some of my inventory when you leave. It’s an explanation for this ‘glimmer of hope’.”

The next moment, Lin He looked like an old grandmother explaining to her grandson who was going on the journey, nagging non-stop, “These bombs are small and powerful. You use them when you see a large group of zombies coming toward you, without saying a word, those zombies will immediately become barbecue. You should know how to use them, right?”

Yan Han nodded.

“These are two shotguns, one assault gun, and bullets, and by the way, there is a set of all-black clothes. If you go to the dock, I still suggest you go quietly at night. You still have some advantages in front of the zombies. Oh, yes!” Lin He seemed to suddenly remember something, and took out a watch from his pocket, “This is a mechanical watch, so you can check the time. You don’t need night vision goggles. According to your movement last night, the eyesight of ordinary zombies should not be comparable to yours.”

Yan Han nodded, and wrote on the paper, “I am much better than ordinary zombies and normal people in terms of vision, hearing, reaction, speed or strength. This is also a benefit of mutation.”

“It’s really a good advantage.” Lin He nodded and took out a life jacket, “This is a life jacket. If you accidentally fall into the sea, it can save you. Zombies can’t swim, right?”

Yan Han shook her head.

“This is smoke bomb, I guess that the Zombie king’s eyesight should be much better than ordinary zombie’s eyesight, but I think no matter how good his eyesight is, he will never see in front of smoke. Anyway, this smoke bomb may come in handy at a critical moment.”

Yan Han nodded as she watched Lin He explain. If she were a person, she would have been moved to tears, at least her facial expression would never be as stiff as it was now.

Lin He squatted on the ground and looked up at Yan Han. Although Yan Han’s face was as stiff as ever, he didn’t know why he could feel her gratitude through her face.

He stood up pretending to be relaxed, and said shyly, “Haha, I haven’t talked to anyone for almost three years. I had a good chat with you today. We are friends now. In the apocalypse, the most important thing is to stay alive. If you don’t survive, you will never guess what adventures you will experience in the future. Just like if I didn’t survive, I wouldn’t have met you…”

When Lin He noticed he was talking nonsense, he had forcibly cut off his incoherent words, “Anyway, try to live.”

Yan Han nodded in focus.
