The sound became closer. A girl walked out of the half-high bushes while tilting her head innocently at it.

The Scythe knight was startled, then turned its head and looked around. Except for the fat man whose head was chopped off and a woman who had been completely scared and stupefied sitting on the grass and unable to move, there was only it. Shi Yu seemed to be able to read the centaur's human face that was distorted as if it's trying to figure out whether Shi Yu was asking itself.

Everyone feared and avoided it but this little girl dared to come in front of it and asked it where the clearance point was.

Although this was Shi Yu's own nonsense, the Scythe Knight did know where the clearance point was since it had been on this dead island for a long time, and the mission given to him by the gods was to slaughter the humans here.

Why should it tell such a small mortal? The Scythe knight raised its horse's hoof and was too lazy to answer the girl, it waved its large half-moon-shaped scythe and slashed towards Shi Yu. The sharp blade cut through many tiny fireflies in the half-human tall jungle and lifted up a lot of dust in the air. A sharp-edged cold wind rushed toward Shi Yu's head.

It never missed. The evil things in the Three Thousand Worlds are much stronger than ordinary humans in terms of speed and power. They are substantial and lethal, slaughtering these humans who have strayed into the Three Thousand Worlds can give them even stronger energy.

But the girl stepped backward slightly, making the blade of ice missed the tip of her nose. What annoyed the Scythe knight the most was this girl looked at its scythe like it was nothing but dust. When Shi Yu avoided the scythe that should have cut her in half, the Scythe Knight stilled.

Every time the scythe was avoided, the more Scythe knight's mane rose, when it saw the woman who was lying on the ground, it glanced at the limp woman: "Aren't leaving yet?"

The woman was stunned, the woman then scrambled from the ground to stand up and run towards the depths of the jungle. The scythe knight raised its horse's hoof and wanted to chase in the direction of the woman. Suddenly the knight heard a little wind behind its ears, and from the corner of its eyes, it saw a dark shadow behind its head.

The black shadow used a tree next to it as a leveler, stepped on the stump, and leaped towards the Scythe knight's back.

When the sickle knight turned its head, the girl who knew nothing about life and death actually stood firmly on its back.

"Get down from me!" The knight became furious.

Shi Yu stepped on its back with two hands holding its mane and smiled: "So you can speak human language."

The scythe knight was so angry that it stretched out its hand and waved the sickle to cut back. Its eyesight was completely blocked, its horse's hoof was unstable, and it staggered on the ground a few times and could only hold its own scythe and yelled: "You mortal who's not afraid of death, do you know who I am? You! Don't grope me!"

Shi Yu dodged while freeing up her other hand, groping around on the scythe knight.

Shi Yu touched a hard object and took it out from the chest of the scythe knight.

"You stupid, weak, and small human being, how dare you ride on me..." The scythe knight held back for a long time and didn't know how to insult Shi Yu anymore, it finally squeezed out a sentence. "You will lose your life!"

The scythe knight obviously didn't realize that Shi Yu had taken anything from it, it continued to struggle to throw Shi Yu off it.

Shi Yu grinned and grabbed a hanging branch next to her, hung herself on it, and swung to another tree like a pendulum clock. The scythe knight couldn't climb up and can only watch Shi Yu standing on the tree branch while making faces at it. Glancing at her, it threw a sentence: "I'll come and kill you in a while." Then it went after other people.

Shi Yu didn't care about the knight as she opened her hand, in her hand was a blue-purple egg-shaped stone.

"What is this?" Shi Yu started playing with it, feeling very funny. When she was young, she followed her father everywhere to climb mountains, she had seen many weird things, but she had never seen anything like this stone. Like jade but not jade, like crystal but not crystal. It feels like a jewel, and every jewel shall stay at her hand.

Shi Yu stepped on the thick branch, held the "stone" in one hand, and stroked her chest that was releasing a powerful heartbeat with the other, suddenly feeling a little happy.

She used to go to the hospital for checkups when she's unwell. As a result, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Now she feels that she has returned to a normal body and was unexpectedly happy. It seems that the game didn't deceive her. 

Just as she was thinking, she looked down at the dark blue-purple round stone she was holding in her hand, with a light blue floating light lingering around it, as if it cracked projecting on the surface of the stone. The stone started to get hot, it was so hot that Shi Yu couldn't hold it, and it accidentally fell to the ground and disappeared into the half-person-high grass.

Shi Yu wanted to jump off and pick up the stone, but she heard a crisp "click" and a snake flew out of the grass. A fuchsia winged snake.

The snake's eyes are also somewhat different from ordinary snakes. She have seen many strange-shaped snakes before, but for the first time, she saw the snake in the corner of her eye. The scales on this snake are very strange, a bit like fish scales. The snake lazily waved its fuchsia wings, leaped from the grass, and stopped in front of Shi Yu.

One person, one snake, look face to face. Shi Yu looked at its brown-red eyes and she saw scrutinization in its eyes. A snake was actually looking at her. Shi Yu thought it was very interesting. She reached out and touched her pocket to find something, she wanted to grab this snake and kept it as a pet. It was good to relieve boredom in this three thousand world.

But just as she was thinking about it, there was a slight rush of wind in her ears. Shi Yu followed the noise and saw a purple mist-shrouded coming in her direction. Just like a protective cover, it slowly reduces the scope of the land she can see.

Several people near the purple mist took a breath of it by mistake, they didn't move a step as their eyes rolled and their bodies fell to the ground with foam at their mouth. Shi Yu clutched the tree trunk, looking at the approaching fog, a little stunned in her heart. Sure enough, it was a poisonous mist that can kill after a single breath.

But the poisonous fog only retracted for about one kilometer before it stopped. It seems to give humans a little time to linger, but it also shortens the area of ​​human activities and makes it more difficult to avoid the killing of the scythe knight.

When Shi Yu turned her head, the beautiful little flying snake disappeared. It is a pity, but she can't stay here for too long. She has to find where the clearance point is before the game's poisonous fog covers the entire island. Shi Yu has always been weird. The game didn't say whether the clearance point was an object or a door. It only gave a hint of "catching wind and catching shadows".

She stood on the tree, looking around the island shrouded in death and slaughter. The air was filled with a bloody smell and the dry smell of the plants on the island, which made anyone chill. With one hand holding the trunk, her other hand stretched out her palm.

The direction of the wind was southwest. After Shi Yu determined the direction, she was about to jump down from the branches when she suddenly heard a cry that didn't resemble a human or ghost.

"I found the clearance point! To the northeast! Come on everyone--" The voice was sharp and distorted, it was completely strange. At this moment, the humans on the island who heard this sentence didn't care to figure out whether it was true or not. All of their bodies rushed in the northeast direction as the "voice" said.

Shi Yu stopped the act of jumping, she stood on the tree and looked into the distance, watching the crowd flow. Everyone is heading towards where the voice said. The crowd began to gather in the northeast area. When people arrived, they found nothing. The shout came from the other end again.

"I found the clearance point! It's in the northwest! Come on everyone--" The crowd surged toward second the place again.

Shi Yu stood on the tree and watched those people who were rushing away without purpose, like ants playing like the gods wanted to.

They were being deceived. Shi Yu thought.
