“―Yō-kun, you’re such a tease…”

After convincing Kasumi, Yō told Marin about it the next day at lunchtime― this was her reaction.

Marin puffed out her cheeks and looked up at Yō with an argumentative look in her eyes.

Yō tilted his head as he ate Marin’s homemade lunch.

“Why do you have to be so mean?”

Yō had thought about the possibility that she might not like it, but he didn’t understand why it was tied to being mean.

Marin’s cheeks puffed up as he stared disapprovingly at Yō, and she opened her mouth.

“Did you do that on purpose?”

“Yeah, so what?”

“…………”

When Yō asked him back, Marin looked down in frustration.

He began to pick up the rice grains with his chopsticks and put them in his mouth.

(She’s more sulky than I thought…)

Marin is a very kind and nice girl who gets along with everyone.

So Yō was hoping that she would try to be friends with Kasumi again, but judging from Marin’s reaction, it would be difficult.

However, if he neglected Kasumi and only gave priority to Marin, Kasumi would go out of control again.

At any rate, if Marin’s mood didn’t improve, there was no way to proceed with the conversation.

Therefore, Yō thought about how he could fix Marin’s mood.

(If it was with Kasumi, I’d just pat her on the head, but with Akimi, she’d be angry at me for treating her like a child…)

Being together all the time these days, Yō was well aware of Marin’s dislike of being treated like a child.

So, naturally, he avoided any behavior that could lead to that, but then he didn’t know what to do, since he had only dealt with Kasumi before.

Since it was lunchtime, he couldn’t take her out to show her the beautiful scenery, and Yō was puzzled as to what to do.

Then, Marin glanced up at Yō’s face.

Yō’s eyes met Marin’s, and as if in a panic, Marin looked down again.

Seeing his reaction, Yō had a question.

“What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing…”

But Marin didn’t answer Yō’s question.

She looked somewhat uncomfortable, and then she started to squirm and wriggle.

Yō couldn’t understand why Marin had suddenly started to squirm, but he knew that Marin wouldn’t like it if he mentioned it here, so he decided to talk about something else.

“Back to the point, I’m not trying to harass Nemoto into participating. It’s to make it easier for Akimi.”

“What do you mean, by that…?”

Hearing Yō’s words, Marin looked up at Yō’s face with an expression that was a mixture of confusion and doubt.

Marin is a very perceptive person, but this time she can’t seem to read Yō’s intentions.

“I know you’re smart, but you can’t talk alone for long, right? That’s why it’s better to have someone to talk to.”

Talking alone or having someone to talk to.

He didn’t need to think about which was easier to do.

And a video with a few people can create more excitement than a video with just one person, or simply entertain the audience with just conversation.

That’s why Yō decided to provide Marin with someone to talk to.

 And so Kasumi was chosen.

The main reason was that this way he could take Kasumi with him, but there was also the reason that Yō didn’t have any other girls close to him.

 However―

“The person I would like to talk to would be the cameraman, which is you, Yō-kun…”

It seemed that Marin wanted Yō to be the one to talk to.

Naturally, Yō knew that Marin would think so, and shook his head left and right in response to Marin’s words.

“No.”

“Why, not…?”

Having been rejected, Marin stared at Yō with eyes that seemed to cling to him.

When Yō saw the look in Marin’s eyes, he felt bad, but there was a good reason for his refusal, and he opened his mouth to explain it.

“I don’t like talking to people who aren’t in the picture. Besides, if you’re going to make a video to promote Akimi’s cuteness, you shouldn’t have a man’s voice in it.”

Men who watch videos for the cuteness of girls tend to look at video streamers and the like as if they were idols.

This is why they dislike the mere presence of a man and stop being fans.

In order to become a popular video streamer, you have to be able to attract such a demographic, so Yō thought it would be better not to put his own voice in the video.

“Mou~…”

But Marin’s cheeks puffed up again in disapproval, as if she wasn’t satisfied.

In addition to the young appearance, it looked as if a child was sulking, and Yō wanted to make a terrible comeback.

Marin doesn’t like to be treated like a child, but she acts like one.

But from Yō’s point of view, Marin was not this kind of character, and he had recently started to see Marin like this.

However, he doesn’t know in detail what kind of change has occurred, but it’s definitely a side of Marin that she’s showing because she’s letting Yō in.

 As a result, Yō thought―

(Akimi’s true nature is that of a child.)

―Marin is just acting like an adult, but she was really childish.
