I like them big, do you?

Chapter 50: Lioness

"It has started..." Ferocious Bear whispered to herself.

She took a deep breath, then let it out! Her eyes narrowed, and the lady bared her sword while holding it tightly.

The leaders from each guild had their own unique roles.

In Maya's case, she would hurt as many ants as possible and usher her guild to the bright and joyous era!

The Guild House!

That was the reward on the line, and it also excited her.

Maya's party also had it the worst as they all had to keep up with her. Their roles were critical in the guild competition.

The Hero's sword rose to the sky, "Follow me!"

Her bonuses grew stronger during that preparation time, and Maya's guild members rode on those forward.

Due to her speed, Maya was one of the very first players to hit the ants. She flinched at their size, but just for a moment, before sending down her slashes and cuts on their antennas!

Other players followed her as quickly as possible, and various skills collapsed onto the ant colony!

Amidst those varieties of skills, the high archery stood out.

It came from Lares, and his arrows drew disgustingly precise trails. He took out many ants by himself!

With help from tanks and their debuff skills, Lares became even more threatening, and he did a splendid job on the battleground.

The other big variety was the [Taste the onion] Guild.

Those players recklessly threw themselves onto the ants, and their guild leader hadn't even issued one command yet. That man was in a battle heat with his close friends, and they all ignored their guild members.

Guild members were far from angry, though.

They were the same, after all. In the fervor of battle, the close friends charged at the ants and threw their abilities as much as possible.

Moreover, by all, all were reckless.

The archers and mages stood close to the frontline, and they dodged any incoming attacks! They were more than reckless, and calling them crazy idiots wouldn't be an insult! These players risked a lot, but the fun was what mattered the most.

And that was what united them under Taste the onion banner!

"They are the players I can also leverage on!" Although Maya was slightly jealous of them, she also wouldn't miss an opportunity to gain more items and resources!

Due to the guild system, Maya's skills didn't steal the kill count for her members. It was different for people outside it, and Maya resolved to steal some prey!

She didn't fail and shocked the regular guild members of taste the onion!

"Damn it! You are villainess!"

"I liked your 'Forward' pose, you know?!"

"Retreat!"

Amidst this chaos, the red pillar rose to the sky.

That pillar silenced the battleground, and players felt their body temperature rising without the hot air coming over there.

But after it did, and hot wind caressed their hairs, the players gulped down, realizing that all big moves belonged to the pyromaniac!

However, was that really the case?

[Lioness Lv. 38 HP: ??? MP: ???]

[Guild: Common Supreme.]

She was the guild leader of the Common Supreme and Vis' elder sister. In the game, she and her siblings took the white-haired cosmetics, and in her case, it did its magic too.

The lioness looked calmer than ever before, and nothing could make her face contort, even the rows of players laying on the ground with their HP's low.

Were those her guild members? Of course not.

"Why do you look at me as if I were your friend before?" Lioness asked another guild leader whose fate was similar to his guild members.

On the ground, he could barely raise his eyes to look at the charming woman.

Her charm compelled many since it was the heroic charm of the strong woman. She looked gorgeous, and yet one could only get impressed by her sharp aura.

For her allies, that charm fired them up.

For enemies, fear was one of the first things sprouting within their hearts.

"I've beaten you fair and square. It's not my problem you couldn't have utilized your players," Lioness said, her eyes squinting, "So, which one will it be? Will you run away like a dog, or will you honor our duel?"

"I have some honor, you know?!" The man shouted.

[The player, Gergam, has passed his guild leader status to you.]

[You have absorbed the guild members of VVV to your guild.]

"I don't need people such as you, however," Lioness said, and her words meant one thing.

[Lioness has kicked the player, Gergam, out of her guild.]

"What the fuck?! I get it! I am a worse guild leader than you, but I have gathered those people! I did a good job for the first time! How can you kick me away like that?!" Gergam howled, but his howls seemed like the puppy's rage.

Lioness loudly said, "You still have some pride left. However, those players were amazed by the teamwork and my command. All of them have dropped their pride, and they are more than willing to learn from us.

You? You would be just a nuisance with that bit of dissent within you."

Her voice swept through the lost players, and they all rose to stand on their legs like proper guild members. Their faces contorted with a resolution, and eyes shone with battle lust!

All of the Lioness!

Gergam's face paled, and his lips quivered as even his close friends decided to follow that heartless woman!

He felt so betrayed and lost that Lioness' following words sounded much louder.

"I will kick anyone who goes below my minimum. My expectations are not that high, but since you took all the blame, I will say a nicer goodbye to them, unlike you."

There was no nice goodbye to Gergam!

The sword beheaded him in a clean slash, and he logged out of the game in an instant!

In real life, he took off his VR Helmet with tears streaming down his face...

He had never been betrayed like that in his whole life until now...

On the other hand, Vis sighed.

He didn't feel anything toward Gergam since any guild leader should be prepared to face such a scenario! You don't take the leader's spot and just believe everyone would be all merry and loyal...

What he didn't like was how his sister conducted herself.

That duel she had spoken about was quite a risky duel.

Why?

"I don't like how you bet yourself, sis," Vis shook his head.

That duel wasn't so simple, and Lioness had bet herself as the reward. It wasn't just her looks, as Lioness had displayed enough abilities beforehand.

Gergam felt like he had a chance, and his lust toward her lured him into a trap.

Lioness gave an honest smile toward her brother, "Don't be so worried, Vis. No one can cope with me for more than one day. A certain singer ran away as fast as he could."

"Ha... This is not the kind of victory our father would like to listen to," Vis sighed again.

Lioness chuckled, then a loud explosion rang out from the side!

That was yet another legendary fire!

The hot air slapped the faces of the white-haired siblings, and Lioness chuckled, "Reylin. Are we that close to him, or is it him rampaging as you've expected?"

"Ugh..." Vis' face twisted ugly.

"Haha! We will deal with them later as per promise," Lioness turned heels and went in the opposite direction, "We have just one guild left to erase. March forth."

She was amused by Vis and how Reylin had pulled him to the regular school, so Lioness didn't have to be even persuaded by Vis.

The Hero and The Pyromaniac would face her later!
