The bell signaling the end of school just rang. Hearing this all the students quickly gathering their things before leaving the class in a rush.

Lisa packed up her things neatly before leaving the classroom heading for the library. The reasoning for her going there was simple. She needed information but unfortunately, she did not have her own devices for research.

Walking into the Library Lisa took her student ID checking in. She headed over to a computer signing in then started researching information.

Gates first appeared ten years ago. Releasing all kinds of monsters all over the world. The first gate appeared in Japan. It was a blue gate that appeared in the middle of Tokyo. Monsters like goblins and skeletons rushed out starting a killing spree. Luckily the Japanese special defense force was able to stop them.

That was until a boss level monster showed up. Hobgoblin one with skin so tough, not even bullets could penetrate. Grenades hardly did any damage. The Hobgoblin slathered thousands of soldiers and people before it was finally slain. After that people with strange abilities started appearing. Now those people are dubbed hunters.

Lisa continued to read information about the gates. That's when she saw the name of her greatest advisory in this world Vali Valentine. According to all the articles, she read the first hunter to appear was Vali Valentine. Ever since his appearance, many other people started appearing with magical abilities but none as powerful.

Lisa snared in mind. Vali Valentine most powerful hunter? Sure for now. You might be loved by the God of this world but unlike you, I have a system one which enables me to level up infinitely. Two months from now I'll be taking your title.

Continuing her research Lisa started looking up hunter guilds to see if any of them where worth her joining. She needed the money and fast. She had her mother's hospital bill coming up in a few weeks and she had long last her old jobs from the old Lisa not showing up.

The reason for her not going back to these jobs where simple the pay wasn't worth it and she will make way more working as a hunter. That and no one cared enough to check if something was wrong from her old jobs. As a hunter, she will be able to earn thousands. But as a hunter working for a guild she will be able to earn thousands more.

The Top hunter guilds were.

Dragon Sin a guild made by an SS rank hunter named Sun Qin.

Tigers Fury another guild made by an SS rank hunter named Adam Li.

Serpent a guild made by an SS rank hunter known as  Jack O'Neill.

Romance Dawn a guild made by the world's strongest hunter Vali Valentine. Currently the strongest guild in America.

There were many other top guilds but those four were the top in America. Working for these guilds Lisa could make millions as an A rank not to mention S rank are higher. Then depending on how active she is a hunter she could make billions.

Low-rank guilds did not interest her. Even though only low-rank guilds would accept the current her.

The hunter industry is lucrative. Because of this low-rank guilds go blind in search of profit gaining a high death toll. The death toll is usually made up of low-rank hunters. This is the reason why low-rank guilds are constantly looking for members.

Lisa researched some information about hunter registration and Americas Hunter Association.

After finishing her research she left the Library.

Before long she arrived in front of the American Hunter Association Building. Looking at the only money she has Lisa could only shake her head. Walking into the building she headed for the lady at the front desk.

The lady at the front desk seeing someone walking up to her pushed hair behind her ear before putting on a smile looking as professional as possible.

"Hello, welcome to the hunter association. How can I help you today?"

Lisa saw her professionalism and replied with a smile before saying.

"I'm here to register as a hunter."

"I see. The cost of registration is 350 dollars. After that, I will need your name and a bit more information about you."

Lisa took the appropriate amount of money out of her wallet. Then handed it over to the lady. She answered a few questions about her self like her name and how old she is before following the lady who's name was Jaci Lucine.

She got her magical energy measure which was exactly E rank as expected.

Jaci gives her some advice trying to cheer her up. She advises her not to join any low-rank guilds. She also told her that if she wants to make money without too much risk of losing her life then it would be good to join the mining team for the dungeons. Miners make thousands of dollars themselves since their also hunters just low ranked.

Lisa suddenly recalled something before asking.

"How much does it cost to get your ranked rechecked?"

"Mmm, before it wasn't that much but because of the constant hunters coming to get their ranked rechecked the price has gone up too 900,000 thousand. This isn't much C Rank hunters and higher but for lower ranks, it's a lot."

Lisa nodded her head.

It made sense after all many low-rank hunters constantly want their ranks rechecked hoping it's higher than before. After all who wouldn't want to join one of those high ranked guilds and make millions. Living a comfortable life with prestige and fame.

"I guess I need to buy some groceries. I only have 500 dollars left out of the original Lisa's savings. This money was to be used for mother's hospital bill which is due in a few months from now. Speaking of mother I need to visit her to see how she's doing."

Deciding on her plan she bought some groceries before heading home. Tomorrow she will go visit her new mom. Then she planned to go level up in Aincrad before going to complete some jobs.
