Felix decided against commenting the obvious, Manitola seemed like she knew what would happen to her continent so they continued the conversation without any interruptions.

"The Sparron continent is rich in resources so that might be one of the reasons the other continents want to conquer us... we don't really do many things with the resources as we don't have a high need for weapon materials, all the iron, copper, bronze, and the other materials are mostly used for buildings or special inventions our people work out."

Felix's ears started to move as he heard materials, he had been on a mission and he retrieved some dark hex ore beforehand and the reaction of Landers was quite exaggerated to him when he returned with it so he added one more reason to the list why the Sparron continent was certainly doomed.

"Considering my abilities I should be a great support unit on the battlefield but I don't think I would be able to do a lot of damage nor take the attention of others too much time or else I might become a burden in certain situations but I should be good in almost all general situations due to my charm field, I can charm the normal troops thus winning the base war."

Lindo chipped in:

"But winning the base war doesn't mean much if the experts lose their war..."

Manitola hangs her head down after she heard that, it was true as no matter how many weaklings there were they wouldn't be able to true experts at the captain level and above, unless many lieutenant levels were attacking a captain level opponent there was no chance they would win in such a situation.

*Sigh* "Well I guess I'm not that useful am I?"

Felix and Lindo didn't' really know what to say at these words, technically speaking she was saying the truth.

Lindo patted her shoulders trying to comfort her but no words were coming out of his mouth, he decided to make her feel better directly by pitting their bodies against each other!

Which meant sparring!

Lindo while empathetic, didn't know what to tell her in this situation as he didn't want to lie to her so to make her feel better he decided to fight with her!

That's how lions made each other feel better and he didn't know about the customs of the fox tribe.

Lindo immediately told her that he wanted to spar with her to gouge her actual strength as they didn't have time to clash fists in the event.

"I don't know Lindo... you seem quite strong and you know that my specialty isn't head-on battle."

Lindo smiled as he shook his head and said:

"It's ok, it's just a spar and we shall stop when we are too far."

Felix perked up hearing the word spar and decided to say:

"Let me go first considering that we are both God's chosen."

Lindo chuckled and gave him a thumbs up indicating that he was ok with it.

Manitola didn't say anything as they made their way outside to the back of the house where the training space was.

Felix stretched his body and then decided to tell her:

"You should watch out for my abilities as they are quite 'deadly' to say the least."

Manitola took a glance at Felix and found him rather cute, how could such a being be a deadly attacker?

Felix shook his head as she saw her gaze and decided to tell her some of his abilities from the start to not injure her by surprise.

Hearing how he could turn invisible and about his outrageously strong body among other things made her rather surprised and intrigued at the same time considering foxes and cats could be considered to be in the same branch job-wise.

Felix decided to show her instead of telling her more, he immediately disappeared from her view and closed in for her neck, Manitola immediately sensed Felix's deadly intent and paled as she took two steps backward and the hex energy in her body started to revolve around her in a shield that Felix pierced but not destroyed as he took two steps backward while not revealing himself.

Felix was quite surprised by the hardness of her shield, was this the same shield that stopped Goro for some time?

While it wasn't as strong as it wasn't fueled by more than one person it was still rather sturdy!

Manitola decided to inform him of her ability as well:

"Besides getting the extra lives I gained this shield that I can use to protect myself and others, it can be fueled by up to 10 people at the same time multiplying its defensive abilities up to 10x."

She didn't lie when she said that she could be good support on the battlefield, this shield alone could turn the battles when it came to the weaker fighters! Even for the stronger fighters on Felix's level and above the shield could still be useful!

Maybe even in captain fights considering it could endure Goro's relentless attacks for some time and it wasn't even fully fueled at that time!

Felix decided to kick it into top-notch gear as his breathing quickened and his hair started to stand on end while his eyes changed to a deeper emerald color.

Manitola immediately felt the danger to her life as she avoided a paw attack that left three deep gashes in her shield, the gashes immediately started to spread as the shield broke into pieces and Felix appeared near her, his claws near her snow-white neck ready to pierce into it.

Lindo clapped seeing the quick ending of the fight, it wasn't that Manitola was weak but Felix was overwhelmingly stronger than her, at this point his soul was also tempered so even though she silently activated her charm field it didn't do much to deviate his attacks.

"I guess it's your win."

Felix nodded as his appearance returned to normal and said:

"You aren't weak don't demean yourself, you just haven't been in the right position on the battlefield."

Lindo nodded as he went forward and entered his fighting stance:

"You might have an easier time against me as I'm weaker than Felix."

Manitola nodded and created a new shield which she reinforced using the surrounding hex energy.

Felix watched them start from the sidelines.

Lindo's aura was steady as the mountain as he eyed Manitola trying to keep her at a distance wouldn't work for him as he was a melee fighter but he couldn't see the charm field as well as Felix, all he could sense was that if he got closer things would get annoying.

One step forward... two steps forward, he inched closer to her but Manitola stood her ground as she suddenly threw both of her hands forward, a ball of pink energy left her hands in the form of a heart that made its way towards Lindo.

Lindo frowned as he waved his body dodging the pink energy and getting closer towards her in an instant he was in front of her!

However his face started to morph into a different expression as he was close to her but suddenly it straightened out as he threw out a direct punch cracking her barrier in the middle, but unlike Felix's cracks, Lindo's started to immediately heal at fast speeds!

Lindo narrowed his eyes as his muscles bulged up a bit and he started with a flurry of punches trying to breach the barrier.

However, he felt his fists start to hurt as blood spurted from them then he realized that the barrier was transforming! Brambles appeared on the barrier that damaged his fists every time he attacked it. This stage of the barrier didn't get to appear as Felix broke it too fast but since Lindo needed to exert more strength, this stage finally unraveled itself!

Lindo frowned as he took two steps backward only for him to feel his ankle being cut by something, he took a glance down to see a fine piece of hair that warped itself around his ankle, the hair was so fine that it could actually cut through his tempered flesh!

However, Lindo had endured higher amounts of pain so he easily snapped the hair as he moved his leg, even though it was sharp it wasn't so sharp that it could cut through his bones and sever his foot from his leg.

Manitola was surprised seeing his high pain endurance and but her attack didn't falter, long hair started to unveil behind her as it started to attack him with a similar rush attack that he tried to use on the shield, while the shield was blocking things from the outside, it wouldn't block things from inside.

Lindo frowned seeing all of the attacks being headed his way as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath as he activated killing intent detection at full power!

His eyes turned a deep crimson as he opened them and looked at the incoming hair attack, he started to dodge by waving through the small gaps that were left in the attack and rushed directly through it to reach the barrier, with a mighty shout his fist was covered in hex energy as he directly attacked the barrier shattering it into a million pieces that disappeared in the surroundings, Lindo then immediately pointed his sharp fingers at her neck.

Lindo smiled as his eyes returned to normal along with his physique as he said:

"I guess I won this one."

Manitola shook her head as she pointed towards his back and said:

"Let's call it a tie."

Lindo looked behind only to see some hair being pointed at this neck.
