At this point, she could clearly feel her father’s consistent behavior.

She thought it’s time for him to get tired.

When she showed frustration, BB comforted her by telling a story.

“Of course, among them, our Princess RIeta is the most beautiful.”

“But what Liz needs is money, not beauty. Besides, no matter how beautiful they are, they don’t have the ability to make money.”

Rieta sighed heavily.

“The only consolation is that I paid back the money he borrowed from the Empire. At least he has a low view of the Emperor.”

“Oh, by the way.”

“…by the way?”

BB popped two cookies into his mouth and munched them while Rieta asked back with an anxious face.

Rieta waited for him to swallow all the cookies.

She can’t interrupt the starving BB’s snack time.

“Drink the milk too, BB.”

He happily drank the warm milk that Rieta gave him, and smiled contentedly with the white milk on his mouth.

“Oh, it’s so delicious!”

“BB.”

Soon Darrell urged him to say the next thing.

It seemed that he felt sorry for Rieta’s long wait.

“Ah, yes. By the way, King Liz has sent someone to the Empire again.”

‘He already sent it?”

“Yes, they had to return without seeing His Majesty.”

“He must have tried to borrow money…”

“That’s right. Interest-free too.”

Rieta’s face turned red with embarrassment.

It seems that King Liz  misunderstood the favor bestowed by the emperor last time as a right and proudly demanded it again this time.

How shameless.

“I think I should go apologize to the emperor.”

“Oh, don’t do that. This BB’s neck will fly away. The emperor didn’t even tell the duke.”

Rieta glanced back at Darrell.

She wondered if it would be okay to secretly share information that did not even reach the duke.

Darrell gave her a small nod, and Rieta let out a sigh of relief.

“Anyway, I’m glad. Because there is no new debt.”

If that was the case ,it might have been a bit difficult for Rieta to leave the empire after this winter.

“Well, it’s fortunate that the empire doesn’t allow more debt.”

“Aahh.”

Rieta cupped her forehead again.

The empire was not the only country holding money in this world.

“The disgrace on a continental scale will begin… “

Probably few countries are willing to lend money to Liz

Because there is no place that gives away precious capital without collateral.

“Maybe I should say it’s fortunate that the kingdom has nothing more to offer.”

Rieta said so, but she was worried about her younger siblings.

She hadn’t heard from them in years already, so in her head, the children were the same as they were when they were babies.

‘Don’t tell me he would want to send those children as insurance like I did.’

She struggled to shake off the anxiety.

All she could think was that she wished that this winter would soon pass.

To protect her younger siblings before it’s too late.

“Hmm, so far this is the situation. If my information has been helpful, you can shout, ‘BB is the best!’ with the prettiest smile in the world.”

Rieta wasn’t in the mood to smile all that much, but she did her best to pull up her lips for him who had suffered.

Of course she did not forget to exclaim, ‘Bibi is the best!

Then he leaned his arm forward and greeted her politely.

“Please use me again anytime. As long as the princess’s smile and Lord Darrell’s money are enough, this BB will always be the two of you’s lovely servant! Yohoo!”

Then he reached out to Darrell.

A heavy bag of cash rose above his hand.

Without checking the exact amount, he ran all the way to the window and jumped outside without warning.

“He’s noisy every time.”

Darrell nodded, agreeing with Rieta’s appreciation.

“But he’s a pretty trustworthy guy.”

“Ah, that’s true.”

Rieta recalled the story BB had told her the other day in the storage room.

Doing anything for the customers who give money.

So it was clear that he was telling Rieta the story at a fee.

“Darrell has been paying BB for information all this time, right?”

How much money had Darrell given him so far?

“I will pay you back that money.”

Rieta added in a small voice.

She felt somehow small when it came to money.

“Someday, really.”

He stared down at Rieta, who was at a loss then ran his large hand through her pretty blond hair.

“That’s okay.”

“But, it was a lot of money. You’ve done that many times…”

“Because this is the amount I owe Princess Rieta.”

“What?”

“It’s true. I’m not saying this because I don’t want to give you a sense of debt.”

His hand ran down her hair and grabbed her tender shoulder.

Darrell, who lowered himself a little, met her face.

“The duchy had a long homework, and Princess Rieta solved it. On our behalf.”

“Home…work?”

Rieta widened her eyes.

With that figure in his view, Darrell suddenly remembered what had happened a while ago.
