Chapter 70: Lyricie's check-up

After leaving, Grey drives the car together with Xyn and went to Mo's manor. Xyn went off the car and waves at him. Then, she receives a message from Ama.

[You need to stay home and never go out. There is a new enemy wanting to kill Lyricie. I think it is someone you know. I will send the photos.]

She looks at her surroundings and went inside immediately. She saw Angela dancing alone while her eyes close. She didn't disturb her and went to the bathroom. She opened the message and saw the pictures.

Her heart beat beats loud and fast. She can't believe her sister's nightmare will come soon! This time, she needs to avoid it. She needs to be alert every time. He seems to get stronger after so many years had passed.

She holds her phone tightly and bit her lips until it bleeds. She stills remember despite in her early age, she still remembers her sister's nightmare. She remembers her sister hurting herself. She wanted to remove her lips as if she felt it was stinky. She wanted to die to leave this place. She remembers her expressions, she hid it too well that she almost forget her sister has a nightmare. She can't help but felt pitiful to sister.

She can't let her sister's happy life destroy by him! She loves her sister dearly and she will protect her. She wills.

[Guard him. We should know his every move. I can't let this to destroy my sister's life, again.] She messages her back. She can't let her nightmare continue. She didn't want to see her sisters being tortured every night after that incident happened. She hated it.

'If I am your next target, I am sorry but if she is still your main target, I will kill you slowly and let you feel that being alive is 'nice' while death is over.' She thought to herself. She wipes her lips and rinses her face.

"Xyn! Is that you?" Angela voice rang behind the door that result Xyn to returned her senses.

"Yes." She replied.

After accompanying Zier, she immediately went off to go back to her company due to Pierce message.

[There is a bad news. A really bad news.]

But before that, she stopped in the near hospital owned by Jade's husband. She parked her car and leaves. She went to the counter and says she wants a full check-up.

Then there she saw Jade.

"Jade." I whispered. Jade smiles and hugs her. "I miss you! Why are you here? Is there's something wrong with your body?" Lyricie saw Jade's body. She has a round belly.

"Are you pregnant?" She asks. Jade smile widen more. She nodded. Lyricie cover her mouth in amazement. "Congrats!"

"Thank you. Hey, answer my question!"

"Mrs. Lyricie Mo, please come in." A nurse announced.

"Oh, let's go!" Jade pulls Lyricie's hands and went inside. The nurse greeted Jade and Lyricie.

"Doctor, please take care of my best friend well. You should make sure that there isn't a single one missing." Jade seriously said. The doctor nodded and started to check her up.

After having a full check-up, the doctor is now smiling.

"What is the result?" Lyricie asked.

"Congratulations. You are pregnant." There is a large bomb in her head that made Lyricie shed tears.

She can't believe it. She was pregnant all along? There is no illness but pregnancy!

"Wow!!! You are also going to be a mommy!" Jade smile sweetly while rubbing her bestfriend's belly softly.

"You are one month pregnant, Mrs. Mo. Congratulations again." The doctor said.

Lyricie returned to her senses. "Then, may I trouble you. Please keep the evidence erased. Please just say that I am perfectly fine."

Jade nodded. "Doctor, do it. She has her reasons and keeps it a secret."

They went outside. Jade and Lyricie went to the café shop and ordered some drinks.

"Cie. Can I asks your reasons?" Jade asks.

Lyricie smile deepened. "I want to surprise him in our wedding anniversary next month."

"Oh. Then I should be invited!"

"Okay."

"Also my husband."

"Okay."

"Together with my new friends, I want them to meet you!"

"O-okay."

"Also, I want you to meet my husband's family!"

"Sure."

"Do not forget me, okay?"

"Y-yes."

After talking with Jade, Lyricie go to her company to see Pierce knitting his brows.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Boss! Umm… It is not the right time. Bye!" Lyricie paced palm. She didn't know why but she felt something was wrong. She didn't mind for now because she needs to take care of her unborn child first.

First in the morning, she saw Zier sleeping besides her while hugging her. She can't help but leave the bed and went to the other comfort room to puke. She can't puke here!!!

She instantly removes his shoulders that wrap around her belly and jump out the bed carefully. She immediately dashed off the room.

What she didn't notice that Zier is already awake and was waiting for her to wake up but he didn't imagine the first thing she will do is that, again.

But why outside the room?
