Chapter 42: Paracetamol

"Can't go? Did something happen to her?" Jade asked over the phone she's talking with.

[Yes. She fainted.] Zier's manly voice can hear. She looks at MinSuk in a anxious look. She did not speak, she don't know how to reply. MinSuk heard their conversation and he knows what was going on especially when they investigate at where she dressed.

[I am hanging up]

"W-wait! Is she sick?" She is trembling right now.

[No.] He replied. Jade look again at her husband to wait and she need to have a private talk. He followed and he left in their room.

"Lyricie don't want to talk about this but this is... I need to tell you what really happened back there... I don't know how to describe it...but I will only going to tell... going to tell of what I just saw...will you believe me if I will tell you? This also sound ridiculous...but it's real." She is really nervous right now.

[Tell me. What did you know?] She let a big sigh and it can be heard from the other side clearly.

"She was always the one who left and check if it's clear. She came back to me like nothing happened and when we walk outside I was really shocked. All the man has knives and was knocked out! They are too many and it's around 10 to 13 people..."

"... It was just a nearly like a minute before she came back. I do not know how or is it really her who did it or not? I am confused and she signals to me to stay quiet so nobody will wake up. And then, when we investigate it. The police said that they were force to faint and they didn't find how did they forcefully loss their consciousness. It was like a magic or something..."

"...you are her husband and do you know about this thing? Who is she really? Well, she is so mysterious that even I do not know the answer. She always said that she is Lyricie a woman you know, but I don't know what exactly..."

"...but I am happy to know her and have a friend like her even if she is mysterious like heaven or so what." She sigh and trying to clear her negative thoughts and make it positive.

[I understand.] he hang up.

"What the –I understand?! Geez." She pouts.

Knock. Knock. Knock. MinSuk entered the door. "Done talking?" He asked when he saw his wife gazing outside the window.

"Hmm." She nodded. "Her sister is here. She just arrived." Jade lighten up when she heard it. "Let's go." He said and she jumps to him like a bunny. She clung into him as if he was a tree and she is a koala.

Lyricie and Zier's Residence

He watchs his wife having a check up from a female doctor he brought.

"She is fine. She got tired and used all her energy. The scratch you're saying is nothing serious. It's already treated. Just let her rest for a couple of days and eat healthy foods and her energy will adequate." the doctor said after checking up on her.

"Can I ask why she used all of her energy? I don't think it was from intense of something." The doctor is curious of course. He knit your brow. [1]

"Get Out." He simply ordered and she gets out immediately. She made a wrong move today.

He sighs. He walks closer to her and stares at her beautiful face.

Lyricie hold her head with one hand and slowly open her eyes. She is in their bedroom.

'Urgh. I fainted again. Why do I always faint if I did that thing? Well, only high professional assassin can do that without getting fainted. I need to get to use of it. I need to practice this all over again. Ahhh!!! I miss having a mission! If only Grandparents were here, I will have endless of mission need to do. Aishh!' She thought to herself.

She went to the bathroom and takes a cold bath. She loves cold bath. After taking a cold shower, she wears a bathrobe and go inside the walk-in-closet and change clothes.

She opesn the box she hid in her u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r drawer and get one piece of tablet and put back the box where it belongs.

She closes the door and walk towards the kitchen. She gets a glass of water and drinks it together with the tablet. She sighs in relief.

"What did you just drink?" Zier asked when he saw her in the kitchen drinking water and some tablet. She looks at him and raises the glass she was holding.

"No. The thing you put in your mouth. What medicine is that?" Lyricie smiled. She didn't thought that she will be caught even though she knows that she secretly put the medicine in the mouth.

"Paracetamol." She replied. She lied. It was not a Paracetamol. It was a drug that Grandfather's prescription whenever I fainted using those advanced skills that are too early for her.

She washes the glass and put it back to the drawer. "You don't even have a fever. Do you have head ache?" He is a little bit puzzled.

"No. It is a muscle aches." She answered. "Huh?" He made a puzzle looks and it make her laugh. "Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. Now, do you get it?" She explained to him when she thought that he doesn't get her point.

"Ahh... Sorry, no experience. I thought it was only for a fever and headache." Lyricie laugh. "Should Angela teach you?" Lyricie asked. Angela dream to be a doctor someday. Helping others is her goal too but it can be her weakness too.

"No need. Self study will do." He refused. "Basics should do. Even basics are fine. First Aids and CPR will do. Even if only that you know, you can save someone life too." Lyricie sit down the sofa besides him.

"Okay."He agrees. He need to learn it too, especially when he saw her fainted he didn't know what to do.

He's weak points is about medicines.
