Chapter 40: Jade's Wedding Day

Lyricie immediately drive home fast. She rush inside the house and call Zier. No one answered. She look around and saw Zier in their walk-in- closet half n.a.k.e.d. So she swift her head not to look at him. She heard him chuckled. "You're early. Did you really went to the mall? If you're in the mall, you should be at home 20 minutes from there to here. Where did you go? Where is your sister? Why isn't she not with you?" He look at her wife after he finish dressing up.

"Why did you call me?" She didn't answer his question and replied with another question. Zier stiffen and calm down. "Answer my questions first, please?" Lyricie look at him and seat in the bed side.

"Why would i answer your question first? It should be GIRL'S first?" She replied with another question. He sigh, he admit defeat. Even he says 'please', she would definitely try to find not to answer his questions.

"I miss you." He said and he kiss her. He release the kiss when she is about to lose her breath. "Fine. I miss you too." She said and she kiss him again passionately.

He release the kiss and asked. "Then, now that i answer your question, where did you went?" Lyricie pouted. "To Jade. I left my sister there because i thought it was an emergency." She said and she hug him tightly. Burying her face to his hard c.h.e.s.t.

"We are invited to Jade's wedding day and her Fiance wanted to meet you too." Lyricie said. "Is that so? Then i'll accompany you, my wife." He said.

She looks at him— full of disbelief. "Are you- wait. You didn't even asked who is he?" She asked him as she stands up and fix her hair.

He nodded and started to put on his blouse. "Okay? Where are you going?" He looks at her and grin. She is taken a back a little and blink twice.

"A date." He said. She raise one of her eyebrows and cross her arms. "To whom?" She ask normal as she is talking to some stranger.

"You." Lyricie grin ear to ear. She stands up and headed outside the house. Not even looking back and left early as possible without him.

Why is she running away from me? He thought to himself. She should be proud but why?

It's because she forgot the most important event that she really needs to meet up with.

It's Graysen.

"How is my die-hard fan of mine?" She smirked. Gray saw her waiting while she sip her favorite milk shake.

He smiled nervously. "I am fine to see my idol has appeared right in front of me. I am so blessed."

"Oh, I heard you are interested in my cute sister." She said that it makes Gray startled a little.

"Please. Tell me so that I can help you." She added.

He shook his head as he sit down the chair opposite her.

"I am grateful, however I will only do it alone with no help of others. I don't need your help, madam." He sincerely said as he bow his head slightly— showing his manners and respect to her.

She smiled. "Such a good man!" She raise her hands to pat his shoulder lightly. "Let's get to the main point. Say it now." She added.

He raise his head with his serious confident look. He nodded while he get the papers in his black suitcase.

Jade's Wedding day

"You are so beautiful in a wedding dress. I bless you to have a great healthy family." Lyricie proudly said to her. Jade giggled. "Thank you very much! Someday i am going to say these words to in your wedding day." Lyricie smile. "By the way, i am curious. Well there is no boys in your dressing room..." She said and she went closer to her to whisper. "How many kids you want to have?" Lyricie asked and Jade blushed. Lyricie giggle when she saw her reaction. "Don't tease me... i wanted 2 or 3. Smaller version of him and smaller version of me." She shyly replied. "Then how about the third one?" She asked. "Of course another version of me and him." She proudly said. "That's good to hear. Let me be their Godmother if you want it." Lyricie request. Jade smile widely. "Of course!!! I will always make you the first Godmother of my children in the future!" They both laugh and hug each other.

"It's time to go out. Let's go?" Lyricie look at the time and she nodded. Lyricie open the door and they saw a man with a gun waiting in the front door.

"Don't move or i'll kill you." The man said while pointing the gun to Lyricie. Jade startled and didn't move. Lyricie didn't move.

"Don't shout or i'll kill you. Move." The man said trying to go inside or he'll be find out.

"I should be the one to say that. I will kill you if you don't put your gun down and let us out." Jade was even more shocked that Lyricie had confident to speak.

While Lyricie spoke these words...

...her gaze was icy cold. So cold it actually made other's shiver in fear.

Even though her presence wasn't as intimidating as Zier's...

...no one doubted the words that were coming out of her mouth.

Her expression was enough to tell everyone how serious she was.

Lyricie immiediately found a chance to get the gun in his hands and to make him fainted. She unload the gun and scattered the bullets on the floor and throw the gun besides the man.

Jade was frozen. She didn't even expected that, that was easy for her.

"Don't tell everyone that i did this. Keep this a secret. Also, I think someone wants to stop your wedding. Luckily i was here or if not... You are dead." She seriously said to Jade. She nodded. "Who are you really? You even have those kinds of skills. I'm impress, teach me too." Jade had calm down when she get to her senses.

" Ask your husband. Let's go to the other way where Zier parked. We are not going to use your car. It's eye-catching, and i am sure they have a back-up for this." Lyricie said when she saw the driver of the car in the waiting area looking suspiciously to Lyricie.

"Wait for me. Let me check outside first." Lyricie said and went out the room.

She go back just a couple of minutes– not looking weak or tired. She is more look, somewhat happy?

"Jade." She called her.

"Okay, let's hurry can we?" Jade is shaking in nervous. Lyricie hug her to stay calm and she call Zier that she is coming now.

Lyricie fix her dress so that she can easily run and she let her wear doll shoes rather than high heels for now. "I'll carry these and wear these in the car. Let's go." Lyricie and Jade silently went outside on the other way and saw Zier waving at them. Lyricie wave back seriously. When he saw Jade and his wife serious face, there is something wrong about this. They immediately went inside the car and Zier drove.

"I know what your thinking. Someone plan to stop the wedding. Luckily i was there or else she is dead by now." Lyricie said looking at him.

"She is sooooooo cool!!! The man holds a gun when she open the door i was shocked and trembled but she... she's opposite. She even said 'i'll kill you' words to him! Not even scared that the gun pointed at her!" She happily slash seriously said on what happened a moment ago and that make his face darkened.

Gun? Pointed.at.her?

"Do not ever said that to anyone again, especially your husband." Lyricie said. She nodded and apologize to her.

"How did you escape from that thing?" Zier asked.

"Using my business mode on to scare him off and when he was off guard i hurriedly get his gun and use his gun to smack it in his neck to let him fainted. I also unloaded the gun to throw the bullets on the floor with the gun." She honestly said. She can't lie but she did use a right words and not to let him know that she is a gangster who have great martial arts or lets say at fighting?

Zier nodded and his gloomy look calmed. He didn't say another word and drive.

On the other side, Jade's husband Minsuk Hwo was happily chatting with Jade's parents and he receive a phone call from his wife. He excuse and answer the call.

"Hello Cookie Wife, why did you suddenly call me?"He asked.

[Hello Cookie Monster...I am here to say...Don't ever panic or leave there. I am coming, i am almost there. I'll hung up. I love you.] and it hang up. He smile but he also frown at the same time.

Panic? Oh, is she very excited that she even told me not to panic? He thought.

"She is coming! Let the wedding starts now!" He announce and everyone get started and the wedding starts.

"Now that the wedding starts, you will be the last person who will walk." Lyricie happily said. Jade smile.

"But you will be the one who will assist me to walk. You are my friend that i called sister, Unnie. You will be my sister, parents in my wedding." Jade happily said while looking at her admiringly. Jade's parents are alive. She has a sister and cousins but the family didn't accept her cause she entered the entertainment that the family didn't want cause the media were too dirty and well- known. It makes her miserable after she found out that her ex-fiance cheated on her and that day was the day she met MinSuk and Lyricie. Her life become more meaningful.

Lyricie smile warmly. Seeing the woman talking, Zier found another thing about his wife. She saves someones life and put back on what she is right now and that was no other than Jade. He also had a clue why she also become an idol, and it was also because of Jade.
